CVSS v3.1 |
Netgear R8500 v1.0.2.160 was discovered to contain multiple stack overflow vulnerabilities in the component ipv6_fix.cgi via the ipv6_wan_ipaddr, ipv6_lan_ipaddr, ipv6_wan_length, and ipv6_lan_length parameters. These vulnerabilities allow attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted POST request.
Netgear R8500 v1.0.2.160 was discovered to contain a command injection vulnerability in the sysNewPasswd parameter at admin_account.cgi. This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via a crafted request.
In JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA before 2022.3 an XXE attack leading to SSRF via requests to custom plugin repositories was possible.
SQL Injection vulnerability in Algan Software Prens Student Information System allows SQL Injection. This issue affects Prens Student Information System: before 2.1.11.
In JetBrains TeamCity between 2022.10 and 2022.10.1 connecting to AWS using the "Default Credential Provider Chain" allowed TeamCity project administrators to access AWS resources normally limited to TeamCity system administrators.
Nextcloud Android app is the Android client for Nextcloud, a self-hosted productivity platform. Prior to version 3.19.1, users can bypass a lock on the Nextcloud app on an Android device by repeatedly reopening the app. Version 3.19.1 contains a fix for the problem. There are currently no known workarounds.
Nextcloud Talk is a video and audio conferencing app for Nextcloud, a self-hosted productivity platform. Prior to versions 11.3.4, 12.2.2, and 13.0.0, when sharing a Deck card in conversation, the metaData can be manipulated so users can be tricked into opening arbitrary URLs. This issue is fixed in versions 11.3.4, 12.2.2, and 13.0.0. There are currently no known workarounds.
Nextcloud Server is the file server software for Nextcloud, a self-hosted productivity platform. Prior to versions 21.0.8, 22.2.4, and 23.0.1, it is possible to trick administrators into enabling "recommended" apps for the Nextcloud server that they do not need, thus expanding their attack surface unnecessarily. This issue is fixed in versions 21.0.8 , 22.2.4, and 23.0.1.
Redis is an in-memory database that persists on disk. By exploiting weaknesses in the Lua script execution environment, an attacker with access to Redis prior to version 7.0.0 or 6.2.7 can inject Lua code that will execute with the (potentially higher) privileges of another Redis user. The Lua script execution environment in Redis provides some measures that prevent a script from creating side effects that persist and can affect the execution of the same, or different script, at a later time. Several weaknesses of these measures have been publicly known for a long time, but they had no security impact as the Redis security model did not endorse the concept of users or privileges. With the introduction of ACLs in Redis 6.0, these weaknesses can be exploited by a less privileged users to inject Lua code that will execute at a later time, when a privileged user executes a Lua script. The problem is fixed in Redis versions 7.0.0 and 6.2.7. An additional workaround to mitigate this problem without patching the redis-server executable, if Lua scripting is not being used, is to block access to `SCRIPT LOAD` and `EVAL` commands using ACL rules.
Redis is an in-memory database that persists on disk. Prior to versions 6.2.7 and 7.0.0, an attacker attempting to load a specially crafted Lua script can cause NULL pointer dereference which will result with a crash of the redis-server process. The problem is fixed in Redis versions 7.0.0 and 6.2.7. An additional workaround to mitigate this problem without patching the redis-server executable, if Lua scripting is not being used, is to block access to `SCRIPT LOAD` and `EVAL` commands using ACL rules.
org.xwiki.commons:xwiki-commons-xml is a common module used by other XWiki top level projects. Starting in version 2.7 and prior to versions 12.10.10, 13.4.4, and 13.8-rc-1, it is possible for a script to access any file accessing to the user running XWiki application server with XML External Entity Injection through the XML script service. The problem has been patched in versions 12.10.10, 13.4.4, and 13.8-rc-1. There is no easy workaround for fixing this vulnerability other than upgrading and being careful when giving Script rights.
Piano LED Visualizer is software that allows LED lights to light up as a person plays a piano connected to a computer. Version 1.3 and prior are vulnerable to a path traversal attack. The `os.path.join` call is unsafe for use with untrusted input. When the `os.path.join` call encounters an absolute path, it ignores all the parameters it has encountered till that point and starts working with the new absolute path. Since the "malicious" parameter represents an absolute path, the result of `os.path.join` ignores the static directory completely. Hence, untrusted input is passed via the `os.path.join` call to `flask.send_file` can lead to path traversal attacks. A patch with a fix is available on the `master` branch of the GitHub repository. This can also be fixed by preventing flow of untrusted data to the vulnerable `send_file` function. In case the application logic necessiates this behaviour, one can either use the `flask.safe_join` to join untrusted paths or replace `flask.send_file` calls with `flask.send_from_directory` calls.
APIs to evaluate content with Velocity is a package for APIs to evaluate content with Velocity. Starting with version 2.3 and prior to 12.6.7, 12.10.3, and 13.0, the velocity scripts are not properly sandboxed against using the Java File API to perform read or write operations on the filesystem. Writing an attacking script in Velocity requires the Script rights in XWiki so not all users can use it, and it also requires finding an XWiki API which returns a File. The problem has been patched in versions 12.6.7, 12.10.3, and 13.0. There is no easy workaround for fixing this vulnerability other than upgrading and being careful when giving Script rights.
Netty is an open-source, asynchronous event-driven network application framework. The package `io.netty:netty-codec-http` prior to version 4.1.77.Final contains an insufficient fix for CVE-2021-21290. When Netty's multipart decoders are used local information disclosure can occur via the local system temporary directory if temporary storing uploads on the disk is enabled. This only impacts applications running on Java version 6 and lower. Additionally, this vulnerability impacts code running on Unix-like systems, and very old versions of Mac OSX and Windows as they all share the system temporary directory between all users. Version 4.1.77.Final contains a patch for this vulnerability. As a workaround, specify one's own `java.io.tmpdir` when starting the JVM or use DefaultHttpDataFactory.setBaseDir(...) to set the directory to something that is only readable by the current user.
RubyGems is a package registry used to supply software for the Ruby language ecosystem. An ordering mistake in the code that accepts gem uploads allowed some gems (with platforms ending in numbers, like `arm64-darwin-21`) to be temporarily replaced in the CDN cache by a malicious package. The bug has been patched, and is believed to have never been exploited, based on an extensive review of logs and existing gems by rubygems. The easiest way to ensure that an application has not been exploited by this vulnerability is to verify all downloaded .gems checksums match the checksum recorded in the RubyGems.org database. RubyGems.org has been patched and is no longer vulnerable to this issue.
OpenClinica is an open source software for Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and Clinical Data Management (CDM). OpenClinica prior to version 3.16 is vulnerable to path traversal in multiple endpoints, leading to arbitrary file read/write, and potential remote code execution. There are no known workarounds. This issue has been patched and users are recommended to upgrade.
Nextcloud Talk is a video and audio conferencing app for Nextcloud. In versions prior to 13.0.5 and 14.0.0, a call moderator can indirectly enable user webcams by granting permissions, if they were enabled before removing the permissions. A patch is available in versions 13.0.5 and 14.0.0. There are currently no known workarounds.
Nextcloud Deck is a Kanban-style project & personal management tool for Nextcloud. In versions prior to 1.4.8, 1.5.6, and 1.6.1, an authenticated user can move stacks with cards from their own board to a board of another user. The Nextcloud Deck app contains a patch for this issue in versions 1.4.8, 1.5.6, and 1.6.1. There are no known currently-known workarounds available.
Nextcloud Deck is a Kanban-style project & personal management tool for Nextcloud, similar to Trello. The full path of the application is exposed to unauthorized users. It is recommended that the Nextcloud Deck app is upgraded to 1.2.11, 1.4.6, or 1.5.4. There is no workaround available.
Nextcloud Android is the Android client for Nextcloud, a self-hosted productivity platform. Prior to version 3.19.0, sensitive tokens, images, and user related details exist after deletion of a user account. This could result in misuse of the former account holder's information. Nextcloud Android version 3.19.0 contains a patch for this issue. There are no known workarounds available.
