| Use after free in Windows Installer allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Arcane is an interface for managing Docker containers, images, networks, and volumes. Prior to 2.11.0, AuthMiddleware.managerAuth accepts X-Arcane-Agent-Token credentials and the environment-token branch calls next before the AdminRequired option is evaluated. An attacker with a valid X-Arcane-Agent-Token can request /api/debug/pprof/* through a route protected by WithAdminRequired because EnvironmentPermissionSet is installed and the request continues without checking IsGlobalAdmin. This exposes administrator-restricted Go pprof runtime and diagnostic information and may impose profiling overhead. This issue is fixed in version 2.11.0. |
| The RemoteUserStoreManagerService does not sufficiently validate password change attempts when the password history validation feature is enabled. This oversight allows an attacker to repeatedly attempt password guesses for a user account without being adequately restricted.
Exploiting this vulnerability enables an attacker to discover a user's password through brute force, leading to account impersonation. The success rate of such an attack is influenced by the complexity of the targeted user's password, with simpler passwords increasing the likelihood of compromise. |
| IBM Planning Analytics 2.0 and 2.1 are vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking. An attacker could overflow the buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system. |
| virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.13.0, the bash activate script that zsh also sources leaves the environment name unescaped; from 21.13.0 until 21.14.4, it escapes backslashes, dollar signs, and backticks only when BASH_VERSION is set, so zsh receives the raw value. The script assigns that value to PS1. In zsh with PROMPT_SUBST, an attacker-influenced environment directory, --prompt, or VIRTUALENV_PROMPT value containing command, parameter, or arithmetic expansion syntax can therefore execute commands in the user's shell each time the prompt is drawn. A percent sign is separately interpreted as a zsh prompt escape but does not by itself execute commands. Plain zsh with PROMPT_SUBST disabled and bash are not affected by this mechanism. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.4. |
