| CVE-2026-46555 | 1 Verygoodplugins | 2 Whatsapp-mcp, Whatsapp Mcp Server | 2026-08-18 | 7.7 High |
| WhatsApp MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for WhatsApp, enabling Claude to read and send WhatsApp messages. Prior to version 0.2.1, the `whatsapp-bridge` HTTP API listens on `127.0.0.1:8080` without authentication and without Host header validation, and the `/api/send` endpoint accepts an absolute `media_path` parameter without confining it to a safe directory. Combined, these issues allow any local process running as the same user as the bridge to send WhatsApp messages from the paired account without authorization; the same caller to read arbitrary files readable by the user (e.g. SSH private keys, browser session data, source code, dotfiles) and exfiltrate them as WhatsApp document attachments; and/or a remote attacker to trigger the same operations via DNS rebinding from a webpage the user visits, since no Host header validation is performed. In MCP environments, "local caller" extends beyond processes the user explicitly launched — sibling MCP servers, IDE extensions, and tool-triggered flows running in the user's session can act as the effective caller. This issue is fixed in whatsapp-mcp v0.2.1 and corresponding Docker images / release artifacts. Users should upgrade immediately. The fix introduces bearer token authentication on the bridge HTTP API (configured via environment variable, required on all requests, validated with constant-time comparison); host header allow-list validation to prevent DNS rebinding; and confinement of `media_path` to a configured directory, with rejection of absolute paths outside the root and path traversal sequences. This is a breaking change for clients of the bridge API. For users who cannot immediately upgrade: Stop the bridge, or block loopback access to port 8080, when the bridge is not actively in use; avoid running the bridge alongside untrusted MCP servers, browser extensions, or other untrusted local processes; avoid browsing untrusted sites while the bridge is running (DNS rebinding mitigation); and/or run the bridge under a dedicated user account or in a sandbox/container with no access to sensitive files. | ||||
| CVE-2026-17084 | 1 Python | 1 Cpython | 2026-08-18 | N/A |
| The "stringprep" module didn't process characters from RFC 3454 tables B.2 or B.3 correctly: the latest Unicode codepoint attributes were used instead of the specified Unicode 3.2.0. This behavior would cause mismatches when processing domain names using IDNA 2003 (the "idna" codec) and the in_table_b2() function of the "stringprep" module. This only affects domain names containing characters that were not previously registered or had their Unicode attributes such as case-folding behavior updated since Unicode 3.2.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-48744 | 1 Saleor | 1 Saleor | 2026-08-18 | 6.5 Medium |
| Saleor is an e-commerce platform. From 3.14.67 until 3.21.67, 3.22.63, and 3.23.22, a broken authorization check in saleor/permission/utils.py can incorrectly authorize unauthenticated GraphQL requests. The flaw permits anonymous callers to use the channelUpdate() mutation to change channel order settings such as allowUnpaidOrders even when the response reports PermissionDenied. The same permission utility can expose hidden objects through the pageType() and translation() queries, including attributes whose visibleInStorefront field is false and that should be visible only to users with management permissions. This issue is fixed in versions 3.21.67, 3.22.63, and 3.23.22. | ||||
| CVE-2026-44472 | 1 Saleor | 1 Saleor | 2026-08-18 | 8.1 High |
| Saleor is an e-commerce platform. From 2.10.0rc1 until 3.21.67, 3.22.63, and 3.23.22, the account activation flow treats email verification as sufficient proof of account ownership and automatically associates anonymous commerce data with the newly activated account. An attacker can use accountRegister to create an account with a victim's email address before the victim registers. If the victim follows the activation link sent to that mailbox, Saleor activates the attacker-created account and saleor/graphql/account/mutations/account/confirm_account.py can merge anonymous orders and gift-card data for the same email address without requiring the account password or another authentication factor. The attacker can then access the merged order history and personal data, including names, addresses, and phone numbers. The patched supported lines disable automatic merging by default, while the redesigned 3.24.0 flow requires password confirmation before anonymous objects are linked. This issue is fixed in versions 3.21.67, 3.22.63, and 3.23.22. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63643 | 1 Magicmirrororg | 1 Magicmirror | 2026-08-18 | N/A |
| MagicMirror² is an open source modular smart mirror platform. Prior to 2.37.0, the ADD_CALENDAR handler in defaultmodules/calendar/node_helper.js accepts an attacker-controlled URL, authentication data, and selfSignedCert setting through the unauthenticated Socket.IO namespace /calendar. The handler passes these fields to CalendarFetcher, causing a server-side request without SSRF validation and optionally disabling TLS verification. When the response is valid iCal, CALENDAR_EVENTS returns parsed event data to the attacker, allowing internal-service response data to be exfiltrated; other responses still provide a blind request and timing primitive. This issue is fixed in version 2.37.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63642 | 1 Magicmirrororg | 1 Magicmirror | 2026-08-18 | N/A |
| MagicMirror² is an open source modular smart mirror platform. Prior to 2.37.0, checkArticleUrl in defaultmodules/newsfeed/node_helper.js accepts the CHECK_ARTICLE_URL notification through the unauthenticated Socket.IO namespace /newsfeed and performs fetch(url, { method: "HEAD" }) without validating the attacker-controlled URL. The helper returns ARTICLE_URL_STATUS containing the URL and framing result, providing a response and timing oracle that can identify internal hosts and ports and trigger side effects on services that react to HEAD requests. This issue is fixed in version 2.37.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74038 | 1 Wazuh | 1 Wazuh-manager | 2026-08-18 | 7.1 High |
| Wazuh 4.0.0 before 4.14.6 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to cause denial of service by enrolling an agent with a dot-sequence name such as ".." through the enrollment port. Attackers exploit insufficient validation in OS_IsValidName() and unsafe path concatenation in delete_diff() to resolve the traversal to the parent queue directory, causing its subdirectories to be removed and stopping all Wazuh services requiring manual recovery. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63640 | 1 Magicmirrororg | 1 Magicmirror | 2026-08-18 | 4.3 Medium |
| MagicMirror² is an open source modular smart mirror platform. Prior to 2.37.0, when hideConfigSecrets is enabled, the catch-all socket dispatcher in js/node_helper.js passes every inbound object payload through replaceSecretPlaceholder in js/server_functions.js before invoking socketNotificationReceived. A client connected to a loaded module namespace can submit a SECRET_API_KEY placeholder, causing the server to replace it with the corresponding process environment value. The default weather helper accepts INIT_WEATHER, copies the attacker-controlled instanceId, and returns it in WEATHER_ERROR, providing an echo path for the expanded secret. This reverses the intended one-way redaction boundary and can disclose API tokens, credentials, or service keys stored in SECRET_ variables. This issue is fixed in version 2.37.0. | ||||
