| CVE-2026-102608 | 2026-10-16 | 9 Critical | ||
| ZoneMinder is a free, open source closed-circuit television software application. Prior to 1.38.3, downloadEvents() manually wraps a monitor Name value in single quotes instead of using escapeshellarg() before placing it in shell commands when a user with monitor-create or monitor-edit permission stores a monitor Name containing shell metacharacters and a user with Events View permission exports that monitor's events. In this attack mechanism, the stored monitor Name reaches both the ffmpeg concatenation command and the tar or zip archive command and breaks out of manual quoting. Arbitrary commands execute as the web server user. This issue is fixed in version 1.38.3. | ||||

| CVE-2026-111702 | 2026-10-16 | 7.5 High | ||
| ChatOllama through commit 96c3ce5 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability that allows remote attackers to access other users' private knowledge bases by supplying sequential ids. Attackers can enumerate ids via GET /api/knowledgebases/{id} or the knowledgebaseId parameter of POST /api/models/chat to read metadata and retrieved document content. | ||||
| CVE-2026-89098 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-10-16 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in nfs-utils. The fsidd daemon improperly handles input received over its local domain socket by relying on program assertions to verify command arguments. A local user can exploit this vulnerability by sending a malformed request lacking the required arguments to trigger an assertion failure. This causes the daemon to crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for filesystem identifier lookup services until restarted. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85977 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift | 2026-10-16 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libtirpc. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted PMAPPROC_DUMP replies to a client application that uses the pmap_getmaps() function against an attacker-controlled host. This unbounded decoding can lead to excessive memory and CPU allocation, causing the client process to experience a Denial of Service (DoS) due to resource exhaustion. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102607 | 2026-10-16 | 8.8 High | ||
| ZoneMinder is a free, open source closed-circuit television software application. Prior to 1.38.3, the exportEvents() function concatenates the attacker-controlled exportFile request parameter into a shell command without neutralizing shell metacharacters when an authenticated user with View Events or View Snapshots permission submits an event export request with a crafted exportFile value, a valid CSRF token, and exportDetail enabled. The affected components are exportEvents(), exportFile, web/ajax/event.php, web/skins/classic/includes/export_functions.php. In this attack mechanism, the crafted exportFile value reaches the trailing directory argument of a tar or zip command executed by exec(). The attacker can execute arbitrary operating system commands as the web server user. This issue is fixed in version 1.38.3. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96849 | 1 Microsoft | 2 Windows 11 26h1, Windows 11 26h1 | 2026-10-16 | 5.5 Medium |
| Use of uninitialized resource in Windows Kernel-Mode Drivers allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111581 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-16 | 3.3 Low |
| A flaw was found in libblockdev. The bd_fs_ntfs_set_label() and bd_fs_vfat_set_label() functions pass caller-supplied label values as bare positional arguments to the ntfslabel and fatlabel utilities without end-of-options separators or input validation for values beginning with a dash. This allows a label starting with '-' to be interpreted as a command-line flag by the spawned tool, potentially bypassing safety checks or causing unintended operations. This is reachable by unprivileged local users through the udisks2 Filesystem.SetLabel() D-Bus method without administrator authentication. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104715 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-10-16 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in cifs-utils. This flaw allows an unprivileged local user to achieve privilege escalation. When a privileged service mounts a Common Internet File System (CIFS) share using a user-controlled credentials file, input values are not properly sanitized before being assembled into mount options. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability to inject unauthorized mount options, allowing them to bypass permission checks and execute files with administrative (root) privileges. | ||||
| CVE-2026-105958 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-16 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in spice-server. Multiple migration data handlers use client-supplied offsets from SPICE_MSGC_MIGRATE_DATA messages without bounds validation, allowing a malicious authenticated SPICE client during VM live migration to read arbitrary heap memory or trigger heap corruption via out-of-bounds read and write operations on the message buffer. | ||||
| CVE-2026-105959 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-16 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in spice-server. The GLZ encoder dictionary restore path truncates a size_t allocation size to int when calling the malloc callback, allowing a malicious authenticated SPICE client during VM live migration to trigger a massive heap buffer overflow by sending a crafted max_encoders value in migration data. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111555 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-10-16 | 6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in luksmeta. Improper boundary validation of metadata slots allows an attacker capable of supplying or modifying a disk header to redirect wipe or load operations outside the intended metadata area. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a crafted header with valid checksums to overwrite or zero out encrypted payload data, resulting in persistent data loss and corrupted storage. Exploitation typically requires privileged access to modify raw block devices or the ability to induce an administrator to process an untrusted disk image. | ||||
