CVE-2025-68798 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/x86/amd: Check event before enable to avoid GPF On AMD machines cpuc->events[idx] can become NULL in a subtle race condition with NMI->throttle->x86_pmu_stop(). Check event for NULL in amd_pmu_enable_all() before enable to avoid a GPF. This appears to be an AMD only issue. Syzkaller reported a GPF in amd_pmu_enable_all. CVE-2022-50778 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fortify: Fix __compiletime_strlen() under UBSAN_BOUNDS_LOCAL With CONFIG_FORTIFY=y and CONFIG_UBSAN_LOCAL_BOUNDS=y enabled, we observe a runtime panic while running Android's Compatibility Test Suite's (CTS) android.hardware.input.cts.tests. This is stemming from a strlen() call in hidinput_allocate(). __compiletime_strlen() is implemented in terms of __builtin_object_size(), then does an array access to check for NUL-termination. A quirk of __builtin_object_size() is that for strings whose values are runtime dependent, __builtin_object_size(str, 1 or 0) returns the maximum size of possible values when those sizes are determinable at compile time. Example: static const char *v = "FOO BAR"; static const char *y = "FOO BA"; unsigned long x (int z) { // Returns 8, which is: // max(__builtin_object_size(v, 1), __builtin_object_size(y, 1)) return __builtin_object_size(z ? v : y, 1); } So when FORTIFY_SOURCE is enabled, the current implementation of __compiletime_strlen() will try to access beyond the end of y at runtime using the size of v. Mixed with UBSAN_LOCAL_BOUNDS we get a fault. hidinput_allocate() has a local C string whose value is control flow dependent on a switch statement, so __builtin_object_size(str, 1) evaluates to the maximum string length, making all other cases fault on the last character check. hidinput_allocate() could be cleaned up to avoid runtime calls to strlen() since the local variable can only have literal values, so there's no benefit to trying to fortify the strlen call site there. Perform a __builtin_constant_p() check against index 0 earlier in the macro to filter out the control-flow-dependant case. Add a KUnit test for checking the expected behavioral characteristics of FORTIFY_SOURCE internals.

CVE-2025-40106 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: comedi: fix divide-by-zero in comedi_buf_munge() The comedi_buf_munge() function performs a modulo operation `async->munge_chan %= async->cmd.chanlist_len` without first checking if chanlist_len is zero. If a user program submits a command with chanlist_len set to zero, this causes a divide-by-zero error when the device processes data in the interrupt handler path. Add a check for zero chanlist_len at the beginning of the function, similar to the existing checks for !map and CMDF_RAWDATA flag. When chanlist_len is zero, update munge_count and return early, indicating the data was handled without munging. This prevents potential kernel panics from malformed user commands.
CVE-2025-68821 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: fix readahead reclaim deadlock Commit e26ee4efbc79 ("fuse: allocate ff->release_args only if release is needed") skips allocating ff->release_args if the server does not implement open. However in doing so, fuse_prepare_release() now skips grabbing the reference on the inode, which makes it possible for an inode to be evicted from the dcache while there are inflight readahead requests. This causes a deadlock if the server triggers reclaim while servicing the readahead request and reclaim attempts to evict the inode of the file being read ahead. Since the folio is locked during readahead, when reclaim evicts the fuse inode and fuse_evict_inode() attempts to remove all folios associated with the inode from the page cache (truncate_inode_pages_range()), reclaim will block forever waiting for the lock since readahead cannot relinquish the lock because it is itself blocked in reclaim: >>> stack_trace(1504735) folio_wait_bit_common (mm/filemap.c:1308:4) folio_lock (./include/linux/pagemap.h:1052:3) truncate_inode_pages_range (mm/truncate.c:336:10) fuse_evict_inode (fs/fuse/inode.c:161:2) evict (fs/inode.c:704:3) dentry_unlink_inode (fs/dcache.c:412:3) __dentry_kill (fs/dcache.c:615:3) shrink_kill (fs/dcache.c:1060:12) shrink_dentry_list (fs/dcache.c:1087:3) prune_dcache_sb (fs/dcache.c:1168:2) super_cache_scan (fs/super.c:221:10) do_shrink_slab (mm/shrinker.c:435:9) shrink_slab (mm/shrinker.c:626:10) shrink_node (mm/vmscan.c:5951:2) shrink_zones (mm/vmscan.c:6195:3) do_try_to_free_pages (mm/vmscan.c:6257:3) do_swap_page (mm/memory.c:4136:11) handle_pte_fault (mm/memory.c:5562:10) handle_mm_fault (mm/memory.c:5870:9) do_user_addr_fault (arch/x86/mm/fault.c:1338:10) handle_page_fault (arch/x86/mm/fault.c:1481:3) exc_page_fault (arch/x86/mm/fault.c:1539:2) asm_exc_page_fault+0x22/0x27 Fix this deadlock by allocating ff->release_args and grabbing the reference on the inode when preparing the file for release even if the server does not implement open. The inode reference will be dropped when the last reference on the fuse file is dropped (see fuse_file_put() -> fuse_release_end()).

It was found that within a critical section of spin_lock_irqsave in sidtab_context_to_sid(), convert_context() (hooked by sidtab_convert_params.func) might cause the process to sleep via allocating memory with GFP_KERNEL, which is problematic. As Ondrej pointed out [1], convert_context()/sidtab_convert_params.func has another caller sidtab_convert_tree(), which is okay with GFP_KERNEL. Therefore, fix this problem by adding a gfp_t argument for convert_context()/sidtab_convert_params.func and pass GFP_KERNEL/_ATOMIC properly in individual callers. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: phy: qcom-qusb2: Fix NULL pointer dereference on early suspend Enabling runtime PM before attaching the QPHY instance as driver data can lead to a NULL pointer dereference in runtime PM callbacks that expect valid driver data. There is a small window where the suspend callback may run after PM runtime enabling and before runtime forbid. This causes a sporadic crash during boot: ``` Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000000000000a1 [...] CPU: 0 UID: 0 PID: 11 Comm: kworker/0:1 Not tainted 6.16.7+ #116 PREEMPT Workqueue: pm pm_runtime_work pstate: 20000005 (nzCv daif -PAN -UAO -TCO -DIT -SSBS BTYPE=--) pc : qusb2_phy_runtime_suspend+0x14/0x1e0 [phy_qcom_qusb2] lr : pm_generic_runtime_suspend+0x2c/0x44 [...] ``` Attach the QPHY instance as driver data before enabling runtime PM to prevent NULL pointer dereference in runtime PM callbacks. Reorder pm_runtime_enable() and pm_runtime_forbid() to prevent a short window where an unnecessary runtime suspend can occur. Use the devres-managed version to ensure PM runtime is symmetrically disabled during driver removal for proper cleanup.
CVE-2022-50730 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: silence the warning when evicting inode with dioread_nolock When evicting an inode with default dioread_nolock, it could be raced by the unwritten extents converting kworker after writeback some new allocated dirty blocks. It convert unwritten extents to written, the extents could be merged to upper level and free extent blocks, so it could mark the inode dirty again even this inode has been marked I_FREEING. But the inode->i_io_list check and warning in ext4_evict_inode() missing this corner case. Fortunately, ext4_evict_inode() will wait all extents converting finished before this check, so it will not lead to inode use-after-free problem, every thing is OK besides this warning. The WARN_ON_ONCE was originally designed for finding inode use-after-free issues in advance, but if we add current dioread_nolock case in, it will become not quite useful, so fix this warning by just remove this check. ====== WARNING: CPU: 7 PID: 1092 at fs/ext4/inode.c:227 ext4_evict_inode+0x875/0xc60 ... CVE-2025-61667 2 Datadoghq, Linux 2 Agent, Linux 2026-04-15 7.3 High
The Datadog Agent collects events and metrics from hosts and sends them to Datadog. A vulnerability within the Datadog Linux Host Agent versions 7.65.0 through 7.70.2 exists due to insufficient permissions being set on the `opt/datadog-agent/python-scripts/__pycache__` directory during installation. Code in this directory is only run by the Agent during Agent install/upgrades. This could allow an attacker with local access to modify files in this directory, which would then subsequently be run when the Agent is upgraded, resulting in local privilege escalation. This issue requires local access to the host and a valid low privilege account to be vulnerable. Note that this vulnerability only impacts the Linux Host Agent. Other variations of the Agent including the container, kubernetes, windows host and other agents are not impacted. Version 7.71.0 contains a patch for the issue.

CVE-2025-68172 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: aspeed - fix double free caused by devm The clock obtained via devm_clk_get_enabled() is automatically managed by devres and will be disabled and freed on driver detach. Manually calling clk_disable_unprepare() in error path and remove function causes double free. Remove the manual clock cleanup in both aspeed_acry_probe()'s error path and aspeed_acry_remove().
