CVE-2026-98062 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Mark signal tracepoint siginfo arguments as scalar The signal_generate and signal_deliver tracepoints declare their info argument as a struct kernel_siginfo pointer. btf_ctx_access() therefore treats it as a trusted pointer for tp_btf programs. Signal delivery also uses SEND_SIG_NOINFO and SEND_SIG_PRIV as special values for this argument. Those values are zero and one respectively, and are not pointers. A tp_btf program can currently dereference either value and fault the kernel. In particular, signal_generate can run from timer interrupt context, turning the fault into a kernel panic. Record both tracepoints in raw_tp_null_args[] and mark argument one as a non-pointer. This preserves scalar access to the cookie while rejecting direct and helper-mediated pointer use. Merely marking it nullable would not suffice because SEND_SIG_PRIV is nonzero.
CVE-2026-98072 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rds: use wq_has_sleeper() in release_in_xmit() release_in_xmit() clears RDS_IN_XMIT with clear_bit_unlock() and then checks waitqueue_active() to decide whether anyone needs waking. clear_bit_unlock() is only a release operation: it orders the critical section before the bit clear, but does not order the subsequent plain load of the wait queue head after it. The waiter side does the mirror image - it adds itself to the wait queue and then tests the bit. That is the classic store-buffering pattern: the releasing CPU can read the wait queue as empty while the waiting CPU still reads the bit as set, so the sleeper is never woken. The waiters are rds_conn_shutdown() and rds_tcp_reset_callbacks(), both in uninterruptible wait_event() with no timeout. A lost wake-up strands the shutdown worker on its single-threaded workqueue until some other sender releases the bit again - and on a connection that is being torn down precisely because it failed, there may never be another sender. The barrier used to be there: release_in_xmit() did clear_bit() followed by smp_mb__after_atomic() until commit 1422f28826d2 ("rds: introduce acquire/release ordering in acquire/release_in_xmit()") folded both into clear_bit_unlock(), which strengthened the lock hand-off but silently dropped the full barrier the wake-up check depends on. The refill counterpart, release_refill() in net/rds/ib_recv.c, still carries its smp_mb__after_atomic() for exactly this reason. Use wq_has_sleeper(), which is waitqueue_active() preceded by the required full barrier.
CVE-2026-98138 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: do not mark the volume clean in sync_fs when errors were recorded ntfs_put_super() and the remount-read-only path both clear the dirty bit only when NVolErrors(vol) is false. ntfs_sync_fs() clears it unconditionally, so any sync() on a volume that recorded an error marks that volume clean. A volume without this set is then seen as not needing recovery and it does not run one, so whatever went wrong is never repaired. This change skips resetting the dirty bit when there are volume errors. Reproduced on a volume whose $MFTMirr does not match $MFT, which sets the error flag while leaving the mount read-write: after a write and a sync, the on-disk volume flags read 0x0000 with this driver and 0x0001 with the guard in place.
CVE-2026-93781 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: core: Do not block on tag allocation in scsi_eh_lock_door() scsi_eh_lock_door() is called from scsi_restart_operations() while the host is still in the SHOST_RECOVERY state, i.e. before the host is switched back to SHOST_RUNNING and scsi_run_host_queues() restarts the queues. It allocates a request via scsi_alloc_request() with no flags, so blk_mq_get_tag() may block waiting for a free sched tag when all tags are already in use. Those tags can be held by commands that were just requeued by scsi_eh_flush_done_q() during error handling. Such commands cannot be dispatched until the host leaves SHOST_RECOVERY and scsi_run_host_queues() is called - which only happens *after* scsi_eh_lock_door() returns. This forms a circular dependency: - scsi_eh_lock_door(), running in the SCSI error handler thread, waits for a sched tag held by a requeued command; - the requeued command cannot complete and release its sched tag until the error handler thread leaves scsi_restart_operations() and restart the queues. For devices with a single driver tag (e.g. USB storage) it is a guaranteed deadlock and I/O that can never be submitted. This problem has also been reproduced in our environment. Locking the door is a best-effort operation, and scsi_eh_lock_door() already returns silently when the request allocation fails. Pass BLK_MQ_REQ_NOWAIT to scsi_alloc_request() so the allocation fails instead of blocking when no tag is available. This breaks the circular dependency and allows the error handler to finish restarting the queues, after which the pending commands are dispatched normally.
CVE-2026-56812 1 Phoenixframework 1 Phoenix 2026-09-24 7.5 High
Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in phoenixframework phoenix (Presence JavaScript client) allows an attacker with ordinary channel access to cause a persistent client-side denial of service against every viewer of a presence channel topic. This vulnerability is associated with program files assets/js/phoenix/presence.js and program routines Presence.syncState and Presence.syncDiff. The Phoenix JavaScript presence client checks whether a presence already exists with a bare truthiness test (state[key]) instead of an own-property check. Presence keys can be attacker-controlled, because applications track presences under a username or id supplied by the client. A user who joins a channel choosing a key that is an Object.prototype member name (__proto__, constructor, toString, hasOwnProperty, and similar) makes that lookup return JavaScript's built-in Object.prototype instead of undefined. Because the prototype is truthy, the code treats it as an existing presence and reads .metas.map(...) off it, which throws an uncaught TypeError. The exception propagates out of the presence message handler, so the local state is never updated and onSync() never fires. Because the malicious key is tracked on the server, it is re-pushed on every presence update and keeps re-throwing, so presence sync stays broken for every viewer of that channel topic until the attacker leaves. Both syncState and syncDiff use the same unsafe existence-check pattern. The impact is limited to the affected topic and is a read-time confusion of the prototype object, not a mutation of Object.prototype (it is not prototype pollution). This issue affects phoenix: from 1.2.0-rc.0 before 1.5.15, from 1.6.0-rc.0 before 1.6.17, from 1.7.0-rc.0 before 1.7.24, and from 1.8.0-rc.0 before 1.8.9; phoenix: from 1.2.0-rc.0 before 1.5.15, from 1.6.0-rc.0 before 1.6.17, from 1.7.0-rc.0 before 1.7.24, and from 1.8.0-rc.0 before 1.8.9.
CVE-2026-75595 1 Netty 1 Netty 2026-09-22 9.1 Critical
Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.1.137.Fina and 4.2.17.Final, io.netty.handler.ssl.SslClientHelloHandler#decode checks the wrong offset before reading the four-byte TLS handshake header, so a ClientHello whose handshake header spans records can cause an IndexOutOfBoundsException and invoke select(ctx, null). This selects the default SslContext instead of the SNI-specific context. In deployments where per-SNI clientAuth=REQUIRE is the sole mutual TLS gate, the default SslContext uses clientAuth=NONE or clientAuth=OPTIONAL, and no application-layer certificate verification exists, an unauthenticated remote attacker can bypass the protected route's mutual TLS requirement. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.137.Final and 4.2.17.Final.
CVE-2026-73549 1 Envoyproxy 1 Envoy 2026-09-22 5.3 Medium
Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, Envoy's Utility::copyInternetAddressAndPort and QUIC client-address paths reconstruct scoped IPv6 addresses through addressAsString and Ipv6Instance. The string includes a percent scope identifier that inet_pton cannot parse, causing an exception or abort. Kernel-provided scoped IPv6 destinations in ORIGINAL_DST transparent-proxy deployments, and affected QUIC connection paths, can therefore terminate the process. The relevant scope boundary is that the HTTP use_http_header override rejects scoped addresses earlier; the advisory's crash path requires a kernel-provided original destination or the affected QUIC path. This issue is fixed in versions 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1.
CVE-2026-94105 1 Nivocart 1 Nivocart 2026-09-21 5.3 Medium
NivoCart through 2.4.0 contains a destructive configuration write vulnerability in the admin password reset controller that allows unauthenticated attackers to disable password recovery by supplying an invalid code parameter. Attackers can send a GET request with a missing or incorrect code to rewrite the config_password setting to 0, disabling self-service password recovery until an administrator manually re-enables it.
CVE-2025-39682 3 Debian, Linux, Siemens 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Simatic Cn 4100 and 1 more 2026-09-21 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tls: fix handling of zero-length records on the rx_list Each recvmsg() call must process either - only contiguous DATA records (any number of them) - one non-DATA record If the next record has different type than what has already been processed we break out of the main processing loop. If the record has already been decrypted (which may be the case for TLS 1.3 where we don't know type until decryption) we queue the pending record to the rx_list. Next recvmsg() will pick it up from there. Queuing the skb to rx_list after zero-copy decrypt is not possible, since in that case we decrypted directly to the user space buffer, and we don't have an skb to queue (darg.skb points to the ciphertext skb for access to metadata like length). Only data records are allowed zero-copy, and we break the processing loop after each non-data record. So we should never zero-copy and then find out that the record type has changed. The corner case we missed is when the initial record comes from rx_list, and it's zero length.
CVE-2026-90147 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-20 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clk: devres: fix cleanup in devm_clk_get_optional_enabled_with_rate() devm_clk_get_optional_enabled_with_rate() registers its cleanup action before setting the clock rate. If setting the rate fails, it attempts to disable and unprepare a clock that was never enabled. This issue was spotted while reviewing "rust: clk: add devres-managed clks" [1]. Register the cleanup action only after successfully preparing and enabling the clock. [1]: https://lore.kernel.org/rust-for-linux/20260706-clk-type-state-v5-3-67c5f326a16c@collabora.com
CVE-2026-90215 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-20 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mtd: ubi: Release device reference on busy detach ubi_detach_mtd_dev() obtains a device reference through ubi_get_device() before checking whether the UBI device is busy. The busy return path drops ubi->ref_count but leaves the device reference held, so the device object cannot be released after a later detach. Drop the device reference before returning -EBUSY.
CVE-2026-93387 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-09-19 4.3 Medium
Improper state validation in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.52 allowed a remote attacker to obtain cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
CVE-2026-90391 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: lib/test_hmm: fail dmirror_fault() when the mirrored mm is gone dmirror_fault() is called from the dmirror_read() and dmirror_write() retry loops after dmirror_do_read() or dmirror_do_write() finds a missing device page table entry. If the mirrored mm has already exited, mmget_not_zero() fails. The current code returns 0 in that case, which tells the caller that faulting succeeded even though no page was faulted and no device page table entry was installed. The caller then retries the same address, hits -ENOENT again, and can loop forever without making progress. Return -EFAULT instead, so the ioctl fails when the mirrored mm is no longer faultable.
CVE-2026-91733 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-09-18 8.3 High
Improper state validation in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.47 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to read memory outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
CVE-2026-90028 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: hd3ss3220: track VBUS enable state per consumer regulator_is_enabled() reports the aggregate regulator state, not whether this consumer holds an enable reference. If another consumer enables VBUS first, the driver can skip its own regulator_enable() call and later attempt to drop a reference it never acquired, triggering an unbalanced regulator disable warning. Track successful enable and disable calls locally. Keep the state unchanged when an operation fails so a later role or ID notification retries the operation while this consumer keeps balanced references.
CVE-2026-77411 1 Rabbitmq 1 Amqp091-go 2026-09-18 N/A
RabbitMQ amqp091-go is a Go AMQP 0.9.1 client. Prior to 1.13.0, readLongstr in read.go returns an empty string and a nil error when a declared AMQP longstr length exceeds 0x7FFFFFFF instead of returning ErrSyntax. The function leaves the declared field bytes unread, while readTable treats the operation as successful and continues parsing from the wrong offset. A malicious or compromised broker can provide an oversized longstr in a table field and desynchronize subsequent AMQP parsing, causing attacker-controlled trailing bytes to be interpreted as later fields or frames and disrupting connection integrity and availability. This issue is fixed in version 1.13.0.
CVE-2026-5946 2 Isc, Redhat 3 Bind, Bind 9, Hummingbird 2026-09-17 7.5 High
Multiple flaws have been identified in `named` related to the handling of DNS messages whose CLASS is not Internet (`IN`) — for example, `CHAOS` or `HESIOD`, or DNS messages that specify meta-classes (`ANY` or `NONE`) in the question section. Specially crafted requests reaching the affected code paths — recursion, dynamic updates (`UPDATE`), zone change notifications (`NOTIFY`), or processing of `IN`-specific record types in non-`IN` data — can cause assertion failures in `named`. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.16.50, 9.18.0 through 9.18.48, 9.20.0 through 9.20.22, 9.21.0 through 9.21.21, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.16.50-S1, 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.48-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.22-S1.
CVE-2026-87012 2 Open-webui, Openwebui 2 Open-webui, Open Webui 2026-09-15 4.3 Medium
Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.9.0 until 0.11.1, backend/open_webui/models/calendar.py stored the calendar event meta.alert_minutes value without type validation and the shared upcoming-event scheduler compared that value numerically. An authenticated user with the calendar permission could store a non-numeric alert_minutes value that raised an exception and aborted the instance-wide alert pass, suppressing all users' reminders while the event remained in the lookahead window. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.1.
CVE-2026-65838 1 Zalando 1 Skipper 2026-09-15 8.2 High
Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition. Prior to 0.27.35, the opaAuthorizeRequestWithBody filter in filters/openpolicyagent/openpolicyagent.go can allow an oversized declared Content-Length request to bypass a deny-on-presence Rego policy because ExtractHttpBodyOptionally leaves OPA with an empty parsed_body while forwarding the complete request body upstream. This incomplete remediation of CVE-2026-50197 affects deployments that authorize request-body content and exceed -open-policy-agent-max-request-body-size, which defaults to 1 MB. Policy logic that does not reject input.attributes.request.http.truncated_body can therefore fail open and permit a forbidden payload to reach the protected service, while small bodies and the previously fixed chunked-body case are evaluated normally. This issue is fixed in version 0.27.35.
CVE-2026-85014 2 Nodejs, Undici 2 Undici, Undici 2026-09-15 5.9 Medium
undici's experimental WebSocketStream client crashes the whole Node.js process when a remote peer closes the TCP connection without a WebSocket close handshake. On an unclean close the internal socket-close handler calls abort on the writable stream unconditionally and discards the returned promise, but per the WHATWG Streams standard aborting a locked writable returns a promise that rejects with a TypeError. Because the application holds a writer on that writable, which is the only way to write, the rejection is never observed and Node's default unhandled-rejection behavior terminates the process. An untrusted server can therefore crash a client with a single abrupt disconnect, with no authentication and no application mistake. This affects undici versions from 7.0.0 up to 7.29.1 and from 8.0.0 up to 8.10.2. Users should upgrade to undici 7.29.1 or 8.10.2.
