CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
binfmt_elf_fdpic: only honour the first PT_INTERP
The program header scan handles PT_INTERP from a switch nested in the
scan loop, so its break leaves the switch and not the loop. A binary
carrying more than one PT_INTERP runs the case again and overwrites both
interpreter_name and interpreter. The previous name allocation leaks and
so does the previous interpreter reference, along with the write denial
open_exec() took on it. The denial is never released, so the file stays
unwritable for as long as the system runs.
An unprivileged caller reaches this with a crafted binary and repeats it
at will. binfmt_elf stops at the first PT_INTERP. Do the same here.
The flaw dates back to the driver's introduction in the pre-git history
tree introduced in v2.6.11 by 91808d6ebe39 ("[PATCH] FRV: Add FDPIC ELF
binary format driver"). |
| Improper input validation in Samsung Contacts prior to SMR Aug-2026 Release 1 allows local attackers to delete file with Samsung Contacts' privilege. |
| The Customer Reviews for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 5.116.0 does not perform nonce or capability checks on several settings-related AJAX actions, allowing users with minimal permissions such as Subscribers to invoke administrative settings handlers, update Customer Reviews for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 5.116.0 options, and disclose store configuration. |
| A flaw was found in ansible-collection-redhat-leapp. When a remediation task is executed with elevated privileges and the `leapp_old_postgresql_data` option is selected, a PostgreSQL data backup archive is created with insecure permissions. This allows a local non-root user on the managed node to read sensitive archived PostgreSQL data, leading to information disclosure. |
| The All-in-One WP Migration and Backup WordPress plugin before 7.106 does not properly sanitise a user-supplied value before using it to build a file path, allowing unauthenticated attackers to create or append a log file in arbitrary locations outside its intended storage directory. |
| The user-controllable executable files will be directly executed by high-privilege processes, allowing low-privilege users to have the opportunity to elevate their privileges to NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. |
| An issue in OPSWAT AppRemover Driver (ardrv.sys) v2017.10.02.1551 and earlier in IOCTL handler 0x2420031. Any local user can open the device and send process termination requests without privilege validation. |

| A potential missing authentication vulnerability could allow a local privileged attacker to use WMI commands to arbitrarily trigger a System Management Interrupt handler. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Solaris product of Oracle Systems (component: Filesystems). The supported version that is affected is 11.4. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Solaris executes to compromise Oracle Solaris. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle Solaris accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle Solaris. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.1 (Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H). |

| Improper access control in the IRP_MJ_WRITE command interface in
Wellbia XIGNCODE3 xhunter2.sys, version 2026.6.1.192, allows a local, unprivileged attacker to achieve local privilege escalation to
NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM, extract credentials from PPL-protected
lsass.exe, and terminate PPL-protected security processes. |
| A flaw was found in samba's pam_winbind. When mkhomedir is enabled, pam_winbind chowns the target account's home directory without validating the path is not a critical system directory such as /. On affected systems, accounts with / as their home directory (a common default for system accounts) can have this triggered not only by root, but by a non-root user holding a narrow sudo delegation to run commands as that account, causing ownership of / to change and resulting in severe denial of service (SSH, sudo, and package-manager failures). The change does not grant write access to / (which ships with restrictive 0555 permissions on RHEL), so the impact is availability loss rather than further privilege escalation. |
| Duplicati v2.3.0.1 backup software gives Authenticated Users MODIFY permissions that propagate to all subdirectories. Installing the software outside of the Program Files directory, or on a custom path, creates a LocalSystem service running from a directory that any standard local user can write to. A standard local user can overwrite any DLL in the service directory. On service restart, the OS loads the attacker's DLL before any managed code runs, executing arbitrary code as SYSTEM. |
