CVSS v3.1 |
| IBM DataStage on Cloud Pak for Data 5.4.0.0 could allow an authenticated user to access sensitive information due to improper handling of encrypted credentials. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain credentials intended for other users or environments. |
| rclone is a command-line program to sync files and directories to and from different cloud storage providers. From 1.49.0 until 1.75.1, the HTTP backend attaches headers configured through --http-headers or headers= to requests in backend/http/http.go, while its fshttp.NewClient client follows redirects without a backend-specific http.Client.CheckRedirect policy. A configured remote that redirects to another host can therefore cause custom secrets such as X-Api-Key to be resent to that untrusted destination, and a same-host HTTPS-to-HTTP redirect can expose Authorization or Cookie headers in cleartext. Listing, stat, download, mount, and serve operations can trigger the leak during normal use. This issue is fixed in version 1.75.1. |
| IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information due to insufficiently protected credentials. |
| IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information and perform unauthorized actions due to insufficiently protected credentials. |
| A flaw was found in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform's automation-
controller. Notification template password fields are encrypted with a key
derived from the secret key, the object primary key, and the field name, but not
the subfield name, and the API returns the full ciphertext of a password subfield
after the notification type is changed to one that does not define that subfield.
A user with administrative access to a single notification template, but without
any wider privilege, can switch the template type to reveal the stored
ciphertext, replant that ciphertext into a webhook password field pointing at a
server they control, and trigger a test notification. The controller decrypts the
replayed ciphertext to the original plaintext and sends it to the attacker's
server in an HTTP Basic authorization header, allowing recovery of Slack,
PagerDuty, Twilio, AWS SNS, and Grafana credentials the administrator was only
permitted to use, not read. |
| Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. From 1.4.0 until 3.7.2, packages/renderer/MdToHtml/rules/katex.ts enables KaTeX's trust option for note content, allowing a note author to place a \href URL into rendered output without passing Joplin's normal URL allowlist. On Windows, clicking a link whose target is an attacker-controlled UNC path causes pathExists() to initiate SMB authentication and disclose the current user's NTLMv2 challenge-response without a warning. The unfiltered URL can also invoke other registered URL handlers, but the credential disclosure through KaTeX \href is the distinguishing demonstrated impact. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.2. |
| Insufficiently protected credentials in the host and folder configuration endpoints of the REST API in Checkmk <2.5.0p15, <2.4.0p37, <2.3.0p51 and 2.2.0 (EOL) allows an authenticated user who may view a host's configuration to read stored SNMP community strings, SNMPv3 auth and privacy pass phrases and IPMI passwords in clear text from GET responses, although the setup GUI never displays these values. |
| The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.0.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, a request using an HTTP proxy to reach an HTTPS origin can expose preemptive origin credentials because NettyRequestFactory and NettyRequestSender.sendRequestWithNewChannel attach Authorization to the plaintext CONNECT request before the TLS tunnel exists. Basic or Digest credentials and per-connection NTLM, Kerberos, or SPNEGO tokens intended for the origin are therefore visible to the proxy and to observers on the client-to-proxy hop. The tunneled request still receives origin Authorization after the tunnel is established, while Proxy-Authorization remains on CONNECT for its intended proxy recipient. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12. |
| GoCD is a continuous deliver server. Prior to 26.1.0, GoCD can return unmasked credentials that administrators stored in the userinfo portion of source control material URLs through several read-only APIs available to regular authenticated users. Although GoCD recommends dedicated username and password fields or secret-management plugins, legacy configuration permits credentials in material URLs, and not every mixed-use API consistently applies URL masking for every material type. An authenticated user with access to an affected pipeline can obtain credentials embedded in its material URL, while dedicated password fields remain encrypted and are not exposed by this issue. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.0. |
| Omni manages Kubernetes on bare metal, virtual machines, or in a cloud. From 1.3.0 until 1.6.6 and 1.7.3, importing a standalone Talos cluster creates an ImportedClusterSecrets resource containing the cluster's complete CA secrets bundle. The access rules in internal/backend/runtime/omni/state_access.go allow an authenticated user with the Reader role to retrieve the resource through ResourceService if the importing actor has not rotated those secrets, exposing Kubernetes, Talos, and etcd CA private keys plus the service-account key. The Kubernetes CA private key permits certificate signing for privileged identities such as system:masters and provides control of the imported cluster outside Omni's authorization boundary, including its workloads, credentials, and secrets. This issue is fixed in versions 1.6.6 and 1.7.3. |
| The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.1.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, requests using an authenticated SOCKS proxy can expose the proxy's credentials to the origin because NettyRequestFactory and NettyRequestSender attach Proxy-Authorization without confirming that the request is being sent to an HTTP proxy. With preemptive proxy authentication, the header is attached to a plaintext HTTP request, exposing credentials such as directly reversible Basic credentials to the origin. With the default non-preemptive flow, a hostile origin can return a 407 response and ProxyUnauthorized407Interceptor sends the proxy credentials through the existing SOCKS tunnel, including NTLM, Kerberos, and SPNEGO credentials. Releases before 2.1.0 lack SOCKS proxy support. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12. |
| HomeBox is a home inventory and organization system. Prior to 0.26.0, NotifierRepository.Update in backend/internal/data/repo/repo_notifier.go updates a notifier through UpdateOneID(id) without requiring the record's user ID to match the authenticated user. An authenticated user who supplies another tenant's notifier UUID to PUT /v1/notifiers/{id} can read the returned stored url, which may contain plaintext Shoutrrr credentials for Slack, SMTP, Telegram, Pushover, or Discord, and can replace the URL to redirect the victim's notifications to an attacker-controlled webhook. This issue is fixed in version 0.26.0. |
| Netcore NR255-V version 1.5.130703 contains a sensitive information disclosure vulnerability in mod_vpn_remote/plan.json, pptpd_user_show.cgi, pptp_client_config_show.cgi, and l2tpd_user_show.cgi. Attackers can leverage these components to obtain PPTP and L2TP VPN credentials. |
| pgAdmin 4's Restore and Maintenance tools passed the client-supplied 'database' field directly as the value of the --dbname option given to pg_restore and psql. libpq expands a database name containing an equals sign into a full connection string, and connection keywords embedded in that value take precedence over the --host and --port arguments that pgAdmin supplies. A value such as 'host=attacker.example port=5432 dbname=x' therefore redirected the utility to a server chosen by the requesting user rather than the server the operation was invoked against. Because pgAdmin exports the decrypted stored database password in the PGPASSWORD environment variable before executing the utility, the redirected connection presents that credential to the attacker-nominated endpoint, which may capture it. The redirection additionally permits outbound connections from the pgAdmin host to arbitrary network addresses, including hosts not otherwise reachable by the requesting user.
The behaviour is reachable by any authenticated user holding the tools_restore or tools_maintenance permission, both of which the default User role grants. The Maintenance tool was not affected in the earliest releases, where the value was wrapped by a quoting helper that incidentally prevented expansion; it became affected when that wrapper was removed.
The fix supplies the target database in the PGDATABASE environment variable, which libpq treats as a literal database name and never expands as a connection string. Where pg_restore requires a --dbname argument to be present, an empty value is passed, which contains no equals sign and is therefore not expanded, while the real name is taken from the environment.
This issue affects pgAdmin 4: from the introduction of the --dbname argument in the Restore and Maintenance tools before 9.18. |
| A flaw was found in multicluster-global-hub. During a ManagedClusterMigration, the system incorrectly grants all managed hubs read access to a shared communication topic. This allows a compromised managed hub to intercept and collect sensitive bootstrap kubeconfigs, which contain API server tokens intended for other hubs. These tokens have an extended validity of approximately 9.86 years, significantly increasing the risk of unauthorized access and information disclosure to other managed clusters. |
| As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Cisco ISE Passive Identity Connector (ISE-PIC) engineering teams have conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in a software hardening release that addresses multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities.
The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-20234 are related to insufficiently protected credentials issues that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) Pillar CWE-522. |
| AVideo through 29.0 contains an information disclosure vulnerability in restreamsActive.json.php that allows authenticated streamers to enumerate source stream keys and identities of all other streamers' active restreams. The endpoint fails to filter results by user ownership, exposing sensitive transmission credentials and streamer identity across all accounts to any user with streaming capability. |
| Netis NX10 firmware V4.0.1.5808 and V3.0.0.4142 contain an information disclosure vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to retrieve the administrator password by sending a request to the sysinfo action in the web management interface without a valid session. Attackers can replay the exposed credential against the login handler to establish a fully authenticated administrator session on the device. |
| GravitLauncher is an open-source Minecraft launcher based on sashok724's v3. Prior to 5.7.12, an unauthenticated remote actor can send a raw HTTP request target without a leading slash to the default LaunchServer file server on port 9274. FileServerHandler.channelRead0 in components/launchserver/src/main/java/pro/gravit/launchserver/socket/handlers/fileserver/FileServerHandler.java strips the first request-target character and resolves the remaining path against updatesDir without re-normalizing and verifying containment. This leaves parent-directory components in a no-leading-slash request and allows reading any file accessible to the LaunchServer process, including .keys/ecdsa_id, .keys/legacySalt, and LaunchServer.json. Disclosure of those files can expose signing keys, refresh-token material, and database credentials, enabling forged administrative access tokens and full authentication bypass. A normalizing L7 proxy may block the primary request form, but direct exposure and L4/TCP proxies remain affected, and netty.fileServerEnabled is enabled by default. This issue is fixed in 5.7.12. |
| The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.14.5 to 2.16.0 and from 3.0.9 to 3.0.11, a client configured with a client-wide Realm and redirect following can disclose credentials after a cross-origin redirect because the Interceptors authentication path falls back to the client configuration after redirect handling clears the per-exchange realm. If the attacker-controlled target returns 401, the client can send Basic or Digest credentials or a Negotiate or NTLM token to that origin. Per-request realms are stripped correctly, and this issue is a residual bypass of the earlier cross-origin credential-stripping fixes. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12. |
