CVSS v3.1 |
| An issue was discovered in Stormshield Network Security (SNS) 4.3.x before 4.3.35. If multicast streams are enabled on different interfaces, it may be possible to interrupt multicast traffic on some of these interfaces. That could result in a denial of the multicast routing service on the firewall. |
| An issue in Yonganda YAD-LOJ V3.0.561 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted packet. |
| Rustix is a set of safe Rust bindings to POSIX-ish APIs. When using `rustix::fs::Dir` using the `linux_raw` backend, it's possible for the iterator to "get stuck" when an IO error is encountered. Combined with a memory over-allocation issue in `rustix::fs::Dir::read_more`, this can cause quick and unbounded memory explosion (gigabytes in a few seconds if used on a hot path) and eventually lead to an OOM crash of the application. The symptoms were initially discovered in https://github.com/imsnif/bandwhich/issues/284. That post has lots of details of our investigation. Full details can be read on the GHSA-c827-hfw6-qwvm repo advisory. If a program tries to access a directory with its file descriptor after the file has been unlinked (or any other action that leaves the `Dir` iterator in the stuck state), and the implementation does not break after seeing an error, it can cause a memory explosion. As an example, Linux's various virtual file systems (e.g. `/proc`, `/sys`) can contain directories that spontaneously pop in and out of existence. Attempting to iterate over them using `rustix::fs::Dir` directly or indirectly (e.g. with the `procfs` crate) can trigger this fault condition if the implementation decides to continue on errors. An attacker knowledgeable about the implementation details of a vulnerable target can therefore try to trigger this fault condition via any one or a combination of several available APIs. If successful, the application host will quickly run out of memory, after which the application will likely be terminated by an OOM killer, leading to denial of service. This issue has been addressed in release versions 0.35.15, 0.36.16, 0.37.25, and 0.38.19. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this issue. |
| Kaleo Forms Admin in Liferay Portal 7.0.0 through 7.4.3.4, and Liferay DXP 7.4 GA, 7.3 GA through update 27, and older unsupported versions does not restrict the saving of request parameters in the portlet session, which allows remote attackers to consume system memory leading to denial-of-service (DoS) conditions via crafted HTTP request. |
| A flaw has been found in OFFIS DCMTK up to 3.6.9. The impacted element is the function DcmQueryRetrieveIndexDatabaseHandle::startFindRequest/DcmQueryRetrieveIndexDatabaseHandle::startMoveRequest in the library dcmqrdb/libsrc/dcmqrdbi.cc of the component dcmqrscp. This manipulation causes null pointer dereference. The attack requires local access. Upgrading to version 3.7.0 is sufficient to resolve this issue. Patch name: ffb1a4a37d2c876e3feeb31df4930f2aed7fa030. You should upgrade the affected component. |
| It is possible to construct a zone such that some queries to it will generate responses containing numerous records in the Additional section. An attacker sending many such queries can cause either the authoritative server itself or an independent resolver to use disproportionate resources processing the queries. Zones will usually need to have been deliberately crafted to attack this exposure.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.11.37, 9.16.0 through 9.16.50, 9.18.0 through 9.18.32, 9.20.0 through 9.20.4, 9.21.0 through 9.21.3, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.11.37-S1, 9.16.8-S1 through 9.16.50-S1, and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.32-S1. |
| An issue was discovered on certain Nuki Home Solutions devices. By sending a malformed HTTP verb, it is possible to force a reboot of the device. This affects Nuki Bridge v1 before 1.22.0 and v2 before 2.13.2. |
| In FRRouting (FRR) before 10.3 from 6.0 onward, all routes are re-validated if the total size of an update received via RTR exceeds the internal socket's buffer size, default 4K on most OSes. An attacker can use this to trigger re-parsing of the RIB for FRR routers using RTR by causing more than this number of updates during an update interval (usually 30 minutes). Additionally, this effect regularly occurs organically. Furthermore, an attacker can use this to trigger route validation continuously. Given that routers with large full tables may need more than 30 minutes to fully re-validate the table, continuous issuance/withdrawal of large numbers of ROA may be used to impact the route handling performance of all FRR instances using RPKI globally. Additionally, the re-validation will cause heightened BMP traffic to ingestors. Fixed Versions: 10.0.3, 10.1.2, 10.2.1, >= 10.3. |
| Uncontrolled resource consumption for some Edge Orchestrator software before version 24.11.1 for Intel(R) Tiber(TM) Edge Platform may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via adjacent access. |
| Starting in Python 3.12.0, the asyncio._SelectorSocketTransport.writelines()
method would not "pause" writing and signal to the Protocol to drain
the buffer to the wire once the write buffer reached the "high-water
mark". Because of this, Protocols would not periodically drain the write
buffer potentially leading to memory exhaustion.
This
vulnerability likely impacts a small number of users, you must be using
Python 3.12.0 or later, on macOS or Linux, using the asyncio module
with protocols, and using .writelines() method which had new
zero-copy-on-write behavior in Python 3.12.0 and later. If not all of
these factors are true then your usage of Python is unaffected. |
| Use of incorrectly resolved name or reference in OpenDaylight Service Function Chaining (SFC) Subproject SFC Sodium-SR4 and below allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS). |
| A security flaw has been discovered in mixmark-io turndown up to 7.2.1. This affects an unknown function of the file src/commonmark-rules.js. Performing manipulation results in inefficient regular expression complexity. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be exploited. |
| Uncontrolled resource consumption in the Linux kernel-mode driver for some Intel(R) 700 Series Ethernet before version 2.28.5 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service. |
| Uncontrolled resource consumption for some Edge Orchestrator software before version 24.11.1 for Intel(R) Tiber(TM) Edge Platform may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via adjacent access. |
| A flaw was found in the Hive hibernation controller component of OpenShift Dedicated. The ClusterDeployment.hive.openshift.io/v1 resource can be created with the spec.installed field set to true, regardless of the installation status, and a positive timespan for the spec.hibernateAfter value. If a ClusterSync.hiveinternal.openshift.io/v1alpha1 resource is also created, the hive hibernation controller will enter the reconciliation loop leading to a panic when accessing a non-existing field in the ClusterDeployment’s status section, resulting in a denial of service. |
| Uncontrolled resource consumption for some Edge Orchestrator software for Intel(R) Tiber™ Edge Platform may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via adjacent access. |
| Uncontrolled resource consumption for some Edge Orchestrator software for Intel(R) Tiber™ Edge Platform may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via adjacent access. |
| Botan is a C++ cryptography library. X.509 certificates can identify elliptic curves using either an object identifier or using explicit encoding of the parameters. Prior to versions 3.3.0 and 2.19.4, an attacker could present an ECDSA X.509 certificate using explicit encoding where the parameters are very large. The proof of concept used a 16Kbit prime for this purpose. When parsing, the parameter is checked to be prime, causing excessive computation. This was patched in 2.19.4 and 3.3.0 to allow the prime parameter of the elliptic curve to be at most 521 bits. No known workarounds are available. Note that support for explicit encoding of elliptic curve parameters is deprecated in Botan. |
| An infinite loop in the retrieveActiveBody function of Soot before v4.4.1 under Java 8 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS). |
| A prototype pollution in the lib.post function of ajax-request v1.2.3 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted payload. |
