CVE-2025-71162 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-26 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: tegra-adma: Fix use-after-free A use-after-free bug exists in the Tegra ADMA driver when audio streams are terminated, particularly during XRUN conditions. The issue occurs when the DMA buffer is freed by tegra_adma_terminate_all() before the vchan completion tasklet finishes accessing it. The race condition follows this sequence: 1. DMA transfer completes, triggering an interrupt that schedules the completion tasklet (tasklet has not executed yet) 2. Audio playback stops, calling tegra_adma_terminate_all() which frees the DMA buffer memory via kfree() 3. The scheduled tasklet finally executes, calling vchan_complete() which attempts to access the already-freed memory Since tasklets can execute at any time after being scheduled, there is no guarantee that the buffer will remain valid when vchan_complete() runs. Fix this by properly synchronizing the virtual channel completion: - Calling vchan_terminate_vdesc() in tegra_adma_stop() to mark the descriptors as terminated instead of freeing the descriptor. - Add the callback tegra_adma_synchronize() that calls vchan_synchronize() which kills any pending tasklets and frees any terminated descriptors. CVE-2026-22990 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-26 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: replace overzealous BUG_ON in osdmap_apply_incremental() If the osdmap is (maliciously) corrupted such that the incremental osdmap epoch is different from what is expected, there is no need to BUG. Instead, just declare the incremental osdmap to be invalid.
CVE-2026-22994 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-26 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix reference count leak in bpf_prog_test_run_xdp() syzbot is reporting unregister_netdevice: waiting for sit0 to become free. Usage count = 2 problem. A debug printk() patch found that a refcount is obtained at xdp_convert_md_to_buff() from bpf_prog_test_run_xdp(). According to commit ec94670fcb3b ("bpf: Support specifying ingress via xdp_md context in BPF_PROG_TEST_RUN"), the refcount obtained by xdp_convert_md_to_buff() will be released by xdp_convert_buff_to_md(). Therefore, we can consider that the error handling path introduced by commit 1c1949982524 ("bpf: introduce frags support to bpf_prog_test_run_xdp()") forgot to call xdp_convert_buff_to_md().

CVE-2026-22992 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-26 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: return the handler error from mon_handle_auth_done() Currently any error from ceph_auth_handle_reply_done() is propagated via finish_auth() but isn't returned from mon_handle_auth_done(). This results in higher layers learning that (despite the monitor considering us to be successfully authenticated) something went wrong in the authentication phase and reacting accordingly, but msgr2 still trying to proceed with establishing the session in the background. In the case of secure mode this can trigger a WARN in setup_crypto() and later lead to a NULL pointer dereference inside of prepare_auth_signature().

CVE-2026-23004 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-26 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dst: fix races in rt6_uncached_list_del() and rt_del_uncached_list() syzbot was able to crash the kernel in rt6_uncached_list_flush_dev() in an interesting way [1] Crash happens in list_del_init()/INIT_LIST_HEAD() while writing list->prev, while the prior write on list->next went well. static inline void INIT_LIST_HEAD(struct list_head *list) { WRITE_ONCE(list->next, list); // This went well WRITE_ONCE(list->prev, list); // Crash, @list has been freed. } Issue here is that rt6_uncached_list_del() did not attempt to lock ul->lock, as list_empty(&rt->dst.rt_uncached) returned true because the WRITE_ONCE(list->next, list) happened on the other CPU. We might use list_del_init_careful() and list_empty_careful(), or make sure rt6_uncached_list_del() always grabs the spinlock whenever rt->dst.rt_uncached_list has been set. A similar fix is neeed for IPv4.
