CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
null_blk: free global tag_set on init error path
If shared_tags is enabled, null_setup_tagset() allocates the global tag_set
via null_init_global_tag_set(). If device creation later fails, err_dev
destroys the default devices and calls unregister_blkdev(), but never frees
the global tag_set. Since module init failed, null_exit() is never invoked,
so the global tag_set's tags and maps are permanently leaked.
Free the global tag_set in err_dev, matching null_exit() which does
if (tag_set.ops) blk_mq_free_tag_set(&tag_set). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/erdma: complete object teardown when the destroy command fails
erdma_destroy_qp(), erdma_destroy_cq(), erdma_dereg_mr(), and
erdma_destroy_ah() returned early when erdma_post_cmd_wait() failed,
leaking the queue buffers, MTTs, doorbells and the STAG, QPN, CQN and AHN
identifiers. A command timeout clears ERDMA_CMDQ_STATE_OK_BIT and
permanently disables the command queue, so no retry can succeed; the RDMA
core keeps the object after a failed destructor and forced uverbs cleanup
then nulls the pointers, making the resources unreachable.
Warn on failure but release every software-owned resource and return
success, since during terminal destruction the hardware command result is
only diagnostic. |
| Crawl4AI before 0.9.3 contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in PDFContentScrapingStrategy that allows untrusted clients to cause denial of service. Attackers can select the PDF scraping strategy in POST requests to download large remote PDFs without size or page limits, exhausting disk, CPU, and bandwidth on shared workers. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Fix mmap_lock leak in irq_work path
stack_map_get_build_id_offset() introduced a per-CPU irq_work to defer
mmap_read_unlock() from NMI context, and bpf_find_vma() later reused the
same mmap_unlock_work. Both callers only check whether the work is busy
before taking mmap_lock, so a nested caller can reuse the slot before the
first caller queues it. Two read locks may then be acquired while only one
deferred unlock runs, leaking a read lock and blocking exit_mmap().
Reserve the per-CPU slot before mmap_read_trylock(). Use the same wrapper
in stackmap and bpf_find_vma() so both callers release the reservation on
trylock failure. Keep rejecting the slot while the irq_work remains busy.
Release it after the irq_work callback unlocks the mm. |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, the DHCP parser in rust/src/dhcp/dhcp.rs creates stateless transactions without recording their packet direction with AppLayerTxData::for_direction(), so a sensor that observes only one direction cannot mark the unseen direction inspected or free completed transactions. The RDP parser in rust/src/rdp/rdp.rs has the same direction-state defect. The per-flow transaction list can grow without bound and cleanup repeatedly scans it, causing increasing CPU and memory consumption and eventual denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6. |
| HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to version 6.9.12, SHCParser in org.hl7.fhir.r5/src/main/java/org/hl7/fhir/r5/elementmodel/SHCParser.java can consume attacker-controlled Smart Health Card JWT content whose header contains zip: "DEF" and whose small raw-DEFLATE payload expands to a very large value. SHCParser.decodeJWT() passes the decoded payload to SHCParser.inflate(), which accumulates all decompressed bytes in a ByteArrayOutputStream without an output-size limit before JSON parsing, and SHCParser.decompress() contains the same unbounded pattern. An application or validator service that accepts attacker-supplied SHC content can therefore suffer excessive heap allocation, severe garbage-collection pressure, request failure, process instability, or process termination. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.12. |
| HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to version 6.9.12, SHCParser in org.hl7.fhir.r5/src/main/java/org/hl7/fhir/r5/elementmodel/SHCParser.java can enter an infinite loop while processing attacker-controlled Smart Health Card JWT content whose header contains zip: "DEF" and whose raw-DEFLATE payload is empty or truncated. SHCParser.decodeJWT() reaches SHCParser.inflate(), where Inflater.inflate() can return zero while Inflater.finished() remains false and Inflater.needsInput() is true. The loop also lacks an Inflater.needsDictionary() termination check, SHCParser.decompress() contains the same zero-progress pattern, and ResourceChecker.java can reach SHC parsing during file-format detection. A malformed validation request can pin a JVM worker thread indefinitely, and concurrent requests can exhaust all validation workers. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.12. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iio: light: gp2ap002: Fix unbalanced runtime PM on repeated event writes
The IIO core does not filter duplicate writes to the event enable
attribute, so writing the same value twice invokes
write_event_config() twice. Enabling twice leaks a runtime PM
reference, preventing the device from ever suspending again;
disabling twice underflows the usage count and triggers a
"Runtime PM usage count underflow" warning.
Bail out early when the requested state matches the current state.
While at it, switch to pm_runtime_resume_and_get() so a failed
resume is propagated to userspace instead of silently marking the
event enabled. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
hugetlbfs: release subpool on fill_super failure
hugetlbfs_fill_super() allocates a hugepage subpool when size or min_size
mount options are specified. hugepage_new_subpool() may also reserve huge
pages for min_size.
If root dentry creation fails after the subpool is created, the failure
path frees the subpool with kfree(). This bypasses hugepage_put_subpool()
and can leave min_size reservations charged.
Use hugepage_put_subpool() on the failure path, matching the normal
put_super path. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nilfs2: fix infinite loop in nilfs_clean_segments()
syzbot reported a hung task in nilfs_transaction_begin(). This occurs
because the cleaner ioctl falls into an infinite loop if
nilfs_segctor_construct() repeatedly returns -EROFS (e.g. the device
is remounted as read-only after an I/O error).
Currently in nilfs_clean_segments(), if err is non-zero, it logs the
error and sleeps but doesn't abort when it encounters a terminal error
like -EROFS. This causes the thread to loop forever.
Fix this by breaking out of the loop if nilfs_segctor_construct()
returns -EROFS. This matches the behaviour in
nilfs_segctor_write_out(), which also handles -EROFS. |
| A vulnerability was found in O-RAN-SC SMO OAM 2025-06-10. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the component VES Collector. Performing a manipulation results in allocation of resources. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The project was informed of the problem early through a bug report but has not responded yet. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mt76: mt76x02: do not WARN on invalid rx descriptor length
The MPDU length in the rx descriptor comes from the hardware. In
monitor mode with the fcsfail filter enabled, the hardware passes up
corrupted frames, and a corrupted frame can report a length larger
than the received buffer. The bounds check correctly discards such
frames, but its WARN_ON_ONCE wrapper means any over-the-air garbage
frame taints the kernel, and panics it on the first such frame when
panic_on_warn is set.
Drop the WARN and discard the frame silently, matching what
commit c2d4c8723dbf ("mt76x2: remove some harmless WARN_ONs in tx
status and rx path") did for the neighboring rx and tx status paths.
Observed immediately on rx with an MT7612U in fcsfail monitor mode
on a busy channel. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: MGMT: free the mesh send cancel command when it is cancelled
mesh_send_cancel() queues the pending command with a NULL destroy
callback, so it is only freed if send_cancel() runs. A cancelled entry is
leaked, as _hci_cmd_sync_cancel_entry() does not release entry->data when
there is no destroy callback, and hci_cmd_sync_clear() cancels every
pending entry when the controller is unregistered. Nothing else reclaims
it either: mgmt_pending_new() does not put the command on
hdev->mgmt_pending.
The leak also pins the socket reference taken by mgmt_pending_new(), so
the mgmt socket is never released.
Free the command from a destroy callback. |
| node-opcua is an OPC UA implementation for TypeScript and Node.js. From 2.0.0 until 2.170.0, node-opcua clients using the default keepSessionAlive setting can enter a repeated reconnection cycle when an OPC UA server's clock skew causes BadInvalidTimestamp responses. ClientSessionKeepAliveManager._ping_server treated the server-originated ServiceFault as a network outage and forced a transport reconnect, while ClientTCP_transport._on_ACK_response used socket.end() after failed HEL/ACK negotiation and could leave the connection in FIN-WAIT-2 when the peer did not close. Repetition at the keepAliveInterval accumulates file descriptors and memory until the client process or container can be terminated by resource exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 2.170.0. |
| A vulnerability was identified in O-RAN-SC SMO OAM 2025-06-10. This affects an unknown part of the component VES Collector. The manipulation leads to allocation of resources. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The project was informed of the problem early through a bug report but has not responded yet. |
| vm2 before 3.11.7 (affected versions <= 3.11.6) does not enforce the VM({ timeout }) option on code executed outside the synchronous VM#run() call. The timeout only wraps the single call to _runScript() via doWithTimeout() in lib/vm.js, and FinalizationRegistry and WeakRef are exposed to sandboxed code unmodified (they are not among the hardened globals in lib/setup-sandbox.js). Sandboxed code can register a FinalizationRegistry cleanup callback against an object and then drop the only strong reference to it; vm.run() returns within the configured timeout, but when the V8 garbage collector later reclaims the object it invokes the sandboxed cleanup callback outside any vm2 timeout accounting. A busy loop in that callback blocks the host event loop for an unbounded period, resulting in denial of service. The time of invocation depends on the garbage collector (e.g. under memory pressure or with --expose-gc). |
| The Really Simple Security WordPress plugin before 9.8.3 does not validate a client-supplied address value before using it as a storage key in one of its own options, allowing unauthenticated attackers to grow that option without bound and to slow the site's handling of missing pages. |
| `fulgur` converts untrusted HTML/CSS into PDF, commonly on a server that processes input supplied by many tenants. In versions prior to 0.19.0, a body-direct child whose CSS-resolved height greatly exceeds the page height was sliced into one fragment per page with no upper bound. This is fixed in version 0.19.0. A `MAX_PAGES` cap bounds the slice loop — halting it even for a `+inf` height — and non-finite layout heights are sanitized so they can no longer drive the loop. As a workaround, validate or constrain untrusted CSS (in particular `height` / `vh` on body-level elements) before passing HTML to fulgur. |
