CVSS v3.1 |
| Local privilege escalation due to insecure Unix socket permissions. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect 17 (macOS) before build 41186, Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Agent (macOS) before build 41124, Acronis True Image (macOS) before build 42902. |
| Improper Handling of Insufficient Privileges vulnerability in Apache OpenMeetings.
Any registered user can query web service with their credentials and get files/sub-folders of any folder by ID (metadata only NOT contents). Metadata includes id, type, name and some other field. Full list of fields get be checked at FileItemDTO object.
This issue affects Apache OpenMeetings: from 3.10 before 9.0.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.0.0, which fixes the issue. |
| ZKTeco ZKBioSecurity 3.0 contains a file path manipulation vulnerability that allows attackers to access arbitrary files by modifying file paths used to retrieve local resources. Attackers can manipulate path parameters to bypass access controls and retrieve sensitive information including configuration files, source code, and protected application resources. |
| Toshiba printers contain a suidperl binary and it has a Local Privilege Escalation vulnerability. A local attacker can get root privileges. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL. |
| A container privilege escalation flaw was found in certain AMQ Broker images. This issue stems from the /etc/passwd file being created with group-writable permissions during build time. In certain conditions, an attacker who can execute commands within an affected container, even as a non-root user, can leverage their membership in the root group to modify the /etc/passwd file. This could allow the attacker to add a new user with any arbitrary UID, including UID 0, leading to full root privileges within the container. |
| Trimble TM4Web 22.2.0 allows unauthenticated attackers to access /inc/tm_ajax.msw?func=UserfromUUID&uuid= to retrieve the last registration access code and use this access code to register a valid account. via a PUT /inc/tm_ajax.msw request. If the access code was used to create an Administrator account, attackers are also able to register new Administrator accounts with full privileges. |
| MacOS version of Inkscape bundles a Python interpreter that inherits the Transparency, Consent, and Control (TCC) permissions
granted by the user to the main application bundle. An attacker with local user access can
invoke this interpreter with arbitrary commands or scripts, leveraging the
application's previously granted TCC permissions to access user's files in privacy-protected folders without triggering user prompts. Accessing other resources beyond previously granted TCC permissions will prompt the user for approval in the name of Inkscape, potentially disguising attacker's malicious intent.
This issue has been fixed in 1.4.3 version of Inkscape. |
| An insecure permissions vulnerability was reported in Lenovo Display Control Center (LDCC) and Lenovo Accessories and Display Manager (LADM)
that could allow a local attacker to escalate privileges. |
| The WatchGuard Mobile VPN with SSL Client on Windows does not properly configure directory permissions when installed in a non-default directory. This could allow an authenticated local attacker to escalate to SYSTEM privileges on a vulnerable system.
This issue affects Mobile VPN with SSL Client: from 11.0 through 12.11. |
| Aimeos is an e-commerce framework. All SaaS and marketplace setups using the Aimeos GraphQL API admin interface version from 2024.04 up to 2024.07.1 are affected by a potential denial of service attack. Version 2024.07.2 fixes the issue. |
| Incorrect access permission of a specific service issue exists in RemoteView Agent (for Windows) versions prior to v8.1.5.2. If this vulnerability is exploited, a non-administrative user on the remote PC may execute an arbitrary OS command with LocalSystem privilege. |
| A vulnerability was found in Sonarr 4.0.15.2940. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file C:\ProgramData\Sonarr\bin\Sonarr.Console.exe of the component Service. Performing manipulation results in incorrect default permissions. The attack is only possible with local access. The vendor confirms this vulnerability but classifies it as a "low severity issue due to the default service user being used as it would either require someone to intentionally change the service to a highly privileged account or an attacker would need an admin level account". It is planned to fix this issue in the next major release v5. |
| Improper handling of insufficiency privileges in the ASP could allow a privileged attacker to modify Translation Map Registers (TMRs) potentially resulting in loss of confidentiality or integrity. |
| Incorrect default permissions for some Intel(R) Thread Director Visualizer software before version 1.1.1 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires active user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |
| The improper default setting in JiranSoft CrossEditor4 on Windows, Linux, Unix (API modules) potentaily allows Stored XSS.
This issue affects CrossEditor4: from 4.0.0.01 before 4.6.0.23. |
| NVIDIA Installer for NvAPP for Windows contains a vulnerability in the FrameviewSDK installation process, where an attacker with local unprivileged access could modify files in the Frameview SDK directory. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to escalation of privileges. |
| A security issue was discovered in Kubernetes clusters with Windows nodes where BUILTIN\Users may be able to read container logs and NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users may be able to modify container logs. |
| By default, dedicated folders of ORIZON for Windows up to 2024.3 can be accessed by other users to misuse technical files and make them perform tasks with higher privileges. Configuration of ORIZON has to be modified to prevent this vulnerability. |
| OpenObserve is a cloud-native observability platform. A vulnerability in the user management endpoint `/api/{org_id}/users/{email_id}` allows an "Admin" role user to remove a "Root" user from the organization. This violates the intended privilege hierarchy, enabling a non-root user to remove the highest-privileged account. Due to insufficient role checks, the `remove_user_from_org` function does not prevent an "Admin" user from removing a "Root" user. As a result, an attacker with an "Admin" role can remove critical "Root" users, potentially gaining effective full control by eliminating the highest-privileged accounts. The `DELETE /api/{org_id}/users/{email_id}` endpoint is affected. This issue has been addressed in release version `0.14.1` and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Local file inclusion in Automatic Systems Maintenance SlimLane 29565_d74ecce0c1081d50546db573a499941b10799fb7 allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via the PassageAutoServer.php page. |
