| CVE-2017-11423 | 2 Clamav, Libmspack Project | 2 Clamav, Libmspack | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The cabd_read_string function in mspack/cabd.c in libmspack 0.5alpha, as used in ClamAV 0.99.2 and other products, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (stack-based buffer over-read and application crash) via a crafted CAB file. | ||||
| CVE-2017-12706 | 1 Advantech | 1 Webaccess | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| A stack-based buffer overflow issue was discovered in Advantech WebAccess versions prior to V8.2_20170817. Researchers have identified multiple vulnerabilities where there is a lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a stack-based buffer, which could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code under the context of the process. | ||||
| CVE-2017-15088 | 1 Mit | 1 Kerberos 5 | 2025-04-20 | 9.8 Critical |
| plugins/preauth/pkinit/pkinit_crypto_openssl.c in MIT Kerberos 5 (aka krb5) through 1.15.2 mishandles Distinguished Name (DN) fields, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (buffer overflow and application crash) in situations involving untrusted X.509 data, related to the get_matching_data and X509_NAME_oneline_ex functions. NOTE: this has security relevance only in use cases outside of the MIT Kerberos distribution, e.g., the use of get_matching_data in KDC certauth plugin code that is specific to Red Hat. | ||||

| In The Sleuth Kit (TSK) 4.4.2, opening a crafted ISO 9660 image triggers an out-of-bounds read in iso9660_proc_dir() in tsk/fs/iso9660_dent.c in libtskfs.a, as demonstrated by fls. | ||||
| CVE-2017-17818 | 2 Canonical, Nasm | 2 Ubuntu Linux, Netwide Assembler | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In Netwide Assembler (NASM) 2.14rc0, there is a heap-based buffer over-read that will cause a remote denial of service attack, related to a while loop in paste_tokens in asm/preproc.c. | ||||
| CVE-2017-13139 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Imagemagick | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Imagemagick | 2025-04-20 | 9.8 Critical |
| In ImageMagick before 6.9.9-0 and 7.x before 7.0.6-1, the ReadOneMNGImage function in coders/png.c has an out-of-bounds read with the MNG CLIP chunk. | ||||

| FontForge 20161012 is vulnerable to a buffer over-read in getsid (parsettf.c) resulting in DoS or code execution via a crafted otf file. | ||||
| CVE-2017-11574 | 1 Fontforge | 1 Fontforge | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| FontForge 20161012 is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow in readcffset (parsettf.c) resulting in DoS or code execution via a crafted otf file. | ||||
| CVE-2017-11573 | 1 Fontforge | 1 Fontforge | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| FontForge 20161012 is vulnerable to a buffer over-read in ValidatePostScriptFontName (parsettf.c) resulting in DoS or code execution via a crafted otf file. | ||||
| CVE-2017-12441 | 1 Minidjvu Project | 1 Minidjvu | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The row_is_empty function in base/4bitmap.c:274 in minidjvu 0.8 can cause a denial of service (invalid memory read and application crash) via a crafted djvu file. | ||||
| CVE-2017-11571 | 1 Fontforge | 1 Fontforge | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| FontForge 20161012 is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow in addnibble (parsettf.c) resulting in DoS or code execution via a crafted otf file. | ||||
| CVE-2017-12444 | 1 Minidjvu Project | 1 Minidjvu | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The mdjvu_bitmap_get_bounding_box function in base/4bitmap.c in minidjvu 0.8 can cause a denial of service (invalid memory read and application crash) via a crafted djvu file. | ||||
| CVE-2017-13090 | 3 Debian, Gnu, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Wget, Enterprise Linux | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The retr.c:fd_read_body() function is called when processing OK responses. When the response is sent chunked in wget before 1.19.2, the chunk parser uses strtol() to read each chunk's length, but doesn't check that the chunk length is a non-negative number. The code then tries to read the chunk in pieces of 8192 bytes by using the MIN() macro, but ends up passing the negative chunk length to retr.c:fd_read(). As fd_read() takes an int argument, the high 32 bits of the chunk length are discarded, leaving fd_read() with a completely attacker controlled length argument. The attacker can corrupt malloc metadata after the allocated buffer. | ||||
| CVE-2017-11568 | 1 Fontforge | 1 Fontforge | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| FontForge 20161012 is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer over-read in PSCharStringToSplines (psread.c) resulting in DoS or code execution via a crafted otf file. | ||||
| CVE-2017-13089 | 3 Debian, Gnu, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Wget, Enterprise Linux | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The http.c:skip_short_body() function is called in some circumstances, such as when processing redirects. When the response is sent chunked in wget before 1.19.2, the chunk parser uses strtol() to read each chunk's length, but doesn't check that the chunk length is a non-negative number. The code then tries to skip the chunk in pieces of 512 bytes by using the MIN() macro, but ends up passing the negative chunk length to connect.c:fd_read(). As fd_read() takes an int argument, the high 32 bits of the chunk length are discarded, leaving fd_read() with a completely attacker controlled length argument. | ||||

| The sg_ioctl function in drivers/scsi/sg.c in the Linux kernel through 4.10.4 allows local users to cause a denial of service (stack-based buffer overflow) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a large command size in an SG_NEXT_CMD_LEN ioctl call, leading to out-of-bounds write access in the sg_write function. | ||||
| CVE-2017-9984 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-04-20 | 7.8 High |
| The snd_msnd_interrupt function in sound/isa/msnd/msnd_pinnacle.c in the Linux kernel through 4.11.7 allows local users to cause a denial of service (over-boundary access) or possibly have unspecified other impact by changing the value of a message queue head pointer between two kernel reads of that value, aka a "double fetch" vulnerability. | ||||
