| Atheos is a self-hosted browser-based cloud integrated development environment. Prior to version 6.0.4, improper use of `escapeshellcmd()` in `/components/codegit/traits/execute.php` allows argument injection, leading to arbitrary command execution. Atheos administrators and users of vulnerable versions are at risk of data breaches or server compromise. Version 6.0.4 introduces a `Common::safe_execute` function that sanitizes all arguments using `escapeshellarg()` prior to execution and migrated all components potentially vulnerable to similar exploits to use this new templated execution system. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
PCI: endpoint: pci-epf-test: Add NULL check for DMA channels before release
The fields dma_chan_tx and dma_chan_rx of the struct pci_epf_test can be
NULL even after EPF initialization. Then it is prudent to check that
they have non-NULL values before releasing the channels. Add the checks
in pci_epf_test_clean_dma_chan().
Without the checks, NULL pointer dereferences happen and they can lead
to a kernel panic in some cases:
Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000000000050

| A vulnerability was found in GAIR-NLP factool up to 3f3914bc090b644be044b7e0005113c135d8b20f. It has been classified as critical. This affects the function run_single of the file factool/factool/math/tool.py. The manipulation leads to code injection. The attack needs to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This product takes the approach of rolling releases to provide continious delivery. Therefore, version details for affected and updated releases are not available. |
| Advanced Installer before 22.6 has an uncontrolled search path element local privilege escalation vulnerability. When running as SYSTEM in certain configurations, Advanced Installer looks in standard-user writable locations for non-existent binaries and executes them as SYSTEM. A low-privileged attacker can place a malicious binary in a targeted folder; when the installer is executed, the attacker achieves arbitrary SYSTEM code execution. |
| A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in GL.iNet GL-A1300 Slate Plus, GL-AR300M16 Shadow, GL-AR300M Shadow, GL-AR750 Creta, GL-AR750S-EXT Slate, GL-AX1800 Flint, GL-AXT1800 Slate AX, GL-B1300 Convexa-B, GL-B3000 Marble, GL-BE3600 Slate 7, GL-E750, GL-E750V2 Mudi, GL-MT300N-V2 Mango, GL-MT1300 Beryl, GL-MT2500 Brume 2, GL-MT3000 Beryl AX, GL-MT6000 Flint 2, GL-SFT1200 Opal, GL-X300B Collie, GL-X750 Spitz, GL-X3000 Spitz AX, GL-XE300 Puli and GL-XE3000 Puli AX 4.x. Affected is an unknown function of the file plugins.so of the component RPC Handler. The manipulation leads to buffer overflow. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: nfc: nci: Add parameter validation for packet data
Syzbot reported an uninitialized value bug in nci_init_req, which was
introduced by commit 5aca7966d2a7 ("Merge tag
'perf-tools-fixes-for-v6.17-2025-09-16' of
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/perf/perf-tools").
This bug arises due to very limited and poor input validation
that was done at nic_valid_size(). This validation only
validates the skb->len (directly reflects size provided at the
userspace interface) with the length provided in the buffer
itself (interpreted as NCI_HEADER). This leads to the processing
of memory content at the address assuming the correct layout
per what opcode requires there. This leads to the accesses to
buffer of `skb_buff->data` which is not assigned anything yet.
Following the same silent drop of packets of invalid sizes at
`nic_valid_size()`, add validation of the data in the respective
handlers and return error values in case of failure. Release
the skb if error values are returned from handlers in
`nci_nft_packet` and effectively do a silent drop
Possible TODO: because we silently drop the packets, the
call to `nci_request` will be waiting for completion of request
and will face timeouts. These timeouts can get excessively logged
in the dmesg. A proper handling of them may require to export
`nci_request_cancel` (or propagate error handling from the
nft packets handlers). |
| Retool (self-hosted) before 3.196.0 allows Host header injection. When the BASE_DOMAIN environment variable is not set, the HTTP host header can be manipulated. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ASoC: codecs: wcd937x: set the comp soundwire port correctly
For some reason we endup with setting soundwire port for
HPHL_COMP and HPHR_COMP as zero, this can potentially result
in a memory corruption due to accessing and setting -1 th element of
port_map array. |
| The User Submitted Posts – Enable Users to Submit Posts from the Front End plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via admin settings in all versions up to, and including, 20240319 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level permissions and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This only affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
io_uring/zcrx: fix overshooting recv limit
It's reported that sometimes a zcrx request can receive more than was
requested. It's caused by io_zcrx_recv_skb() adjusting desc->count for
all received buffers including frag lists, but then doing recursive
calls to process frag list skbs, which leads to desc->count double
accounting and underflow. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Squashfs: fix uninit-value in squashfs_get_parent
Syzkaller reports a "KMSAN: uninit-value in squashfs_get_parent" bug.
This is caused by open_by_handle_at() being called with a file handle
containing an invalid parent inode number. In particular the inode number
is that of a symbolic link, rather than a directory.
Squashfs_get_parent() gets called with that symbolic link inode, and
accesses the parent member field.
unsigned int parent_ino = squashfs_i(inode)->parent;
Because non-directory inodes in Squashfs do not have a parent value, this
is uninitialised, and this causes an uninitialised value access.
The fix is to initialise parent with the invalid inode 0, which will cause
an EINVAL error to be returned.
Regular inodes used to share the parent field with the block_list_start
field. This is removed in this commit to enable the parent field to
contain the invalid inode number 0. |
| In affected versions, vulnerability-lookup did not track or limit failed
One-Time Password (OTP) attempts during Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
verification. An attacker who already knew or guessed a valid username
and password could submit an arbitrary number of OTP codes without
causing the account to be locked or generating any specific alert for
administrators.
This lack of rate-limiting and lockout on OTP failures significantly
lowers the cost of online brute-force attacks against 2FA codes and
increases the risk of successful account takeover, especially if OTP
entropy is reduced (e.g. short numeric codes, user reuse, or predictable
tokens). Additionally, administrators had no direct visibility into
accounts experiencing repeated 2FA failures, making targeted attacks
harder to detect and investigate.
The patch introduces a persistent failed_otp_attempts counter on user
accounts, locks the user after 5 invalid OTP submissions, resets the
counter on successful verification, and surfaces failed 2FA attempts in
the admin user list. This enforces an account lockout policy for OTP
brute-force attempts and improves monitoring capabilities for suspicious
2FA activity.This issue affects Vulnerability-Lookup: before 2.18.0. |
| Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in LiteSpeed Technologies LiteSpeed Cache litespeed-cache.This issue affects LiteSpeed Cache: from n/a through <= 7.0.1. |
