| Wi-Fi Alliance wfa_dut (in Wi-Fi Test Suite) through 9.0.0 allows OS command injection via 802.11x frames because the system() library function is used. For example, on Arcadyan FMIMG51AX000J devices, this leads to wfaTGSendPing remote code execution as root via traffic to TCP port 8000 or 8080 on a LAN interface. On other devices, this may be exploitable over a WAN interface. |
| VMware SD-WAN Edge contains an unauthenticated command injection vulnerability potentially leading to remote code execution.
A malicious actor with local access to the Edge Router UI during
activation may be able to perform a command injection attack that could
lead to full control of the router.

| QiAnXin TianQing Management Center versions up to and including 6.7.0.4130 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the rptsvr component that allows unauthenticated attackers to upload files to arbitrary locations on the server. The /rptsvr/upload endpoint fails to sanitize the filename parameter in multipart form-data requests, enabling path traversal. This allows attackers to place executable files in web-accessible directories, potentially leading to remote code execution. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2024-08-23 UTC. |
| NLTK through 3.8.1 allows remote code execution if untrusted packages have pickled Python code, and the integrated data package download functionality is used. This affects, for example, averaged_perceptron_tagger and punkt. |
| Money Manager EX WebApp (web-money-manager-ex) 1.2.2 is vulnerable to Incorrect Access Control. The `redirect_if_not_loggedin` function in `functions_security.php` fails to terminate script execution after redirecting unauthenticated users. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to upload arbitrary files, potentially leading to Remote Code Execution. |
| LaRecipe is an application that allows users to create documentation with Markdown inside a Laravel app. Versions prior to 2.8.1 are vulnerable to Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI), which could potentially lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE) in vulnerable configurations. Attackers could execute arbitrary commands on the server, access sensitive environment variables, and/or escalate access depending on server configuration. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to version v2.8.1 or later to receive a patch. |
| A vulnerability in the parisneo/lollms, specifically in the `/unInstall_binding` endpoint, allows for arbitrary code execution due to insufficient sanitization of user input. The issue arises from the lack of path sanitization when handling the `name` parameter in the `unInstall_binding` function, allowing an attacker to traverse directories and execute arbitrary code by loading a malicious `__init__.py` file. This vulnerability affects the latest version of the software. The exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to remote code execution on the system where parisneo/lollms is deployed. |
| A remote command injection vulnerability exists in Vacron Network Video Recorder (NVR) devices v1.4 due to improper input sanitization in the board.cgi script. The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to pass arbitrary commands to the underlying operating system via crafted HTTP requests. These commands are executed with the privileges of the web server process, enabling remote code execution and potential full device compromise. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-02-06 UTC. |
| An unauthenticated file upload vulnerability exists in the Fanwei E-Office <= v9.4 web management interface. The vulnerability affects the /general/index/UploadFile.php endpoint, which improperly validates uploaded files when invoked with certain parameters (uploadType=eoffice_logo or uploadType=theme). An attacker can exploit this flaw by sending a crafted HTTP POST request to upload arbitrary files without requiring authentication. Successful exploitation could enable remote code execution on the affected server, leading to complete compromise of the web application and potentially the underlying system. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-02-05 UTC. |
| A vulnerability in XAMPP, developed by Apache Friends, version 1.7.3's default WebDAV configuration allows remote authenticated attackers to upload and execute arbitrary PHP code. The WebDAV service, accessible via /webdav/, accepts HTTP PUT requests using default credentials. This permits attackers to upload a malicious PHP payload and trigger its execution via a subsequent GET request, resulting in remote code execution on the server. |
| UCanCode E-XD++ Visualization Enterprise Suite contains an untrusted pointer dereference vulnerability via the TKDRAWCAD.TKDrawCADCtrl.1 ActiveX control. This is because it exposes a RotateShape method that dereferences a user-supplied pointer without sufficient validation. A crafted input may cause the control to dereference an attacker-controlled pointer, enabling remote code execution in the context of the hosting process. The vulnerability requires user interaction (instantiation of the ActiveX control via a web page or a file). |
| A command injection vulnerability exists in IGEL OS versions prior to 11.04.270 within the Secure Terminal and Secure Shadow services. The flaw arises due to improper input sanitization in the handling of specially crafted PROXYCMD commands on TCP ports 30022 and 5900. An unauthenticated attacker with network access to a vulnerable device can inject arbitrary commands, leading to remote code execution with elevated privileges.
NOTE: IGEL OS v10.x has reached end-of-life (EOL) status. |
| A path traversal vulnerability exists in the Dahua Smart Park Integrated Management Platform (also referred to as the Dahua Smart Campus Integrated Management Platform), affecting the SOAP-based GIS bitmap upload interface. The flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to upload arbitrary files to the server via crafted SOAP requests, including executable JSP payloads. Successful exploitation may lead to remote code execution (RCE) and full compromise of the affected system. The vulnerability is presumed to affect builds released prior to September 2023 and is said to be remediated in newer versions of the product, though the exact affected range remains undefined. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2024-02-15 UTC. |
| Hyland OnBase versions prior to 17.0.2.87 (other versions may be affected) are vulnerable to unauthenticated remote code execution via insecure deserialization on the .NET Remoting TCP channel. The service registers a listener on port 6031 with the URI endpoint TimerServer, implemented in Hyland.Core.Timers.dll. This endpoint deserializes untrusted input using the .NET BinaryFormatter, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code under the context of NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. |
| insightsoftware Spark JDBC 2.6.21 has a remote code execution vulnerability. Attackers can inject malicious parameters into the JDBC URL, triggering JNDI injection during the process when the JDBC Driver uses this URL to connect to the database. This can further lead to remote code execution. |
| Due to missing input validation during one step of the firmware update process, the product
is vulnerable to remote code execution. With network access and the user level ”Service”, an attacker
can execute arbitrary system commands in the root user’s contexts. |
| CVE-2024-4320 describes a vulnerability in the parisneo/lollms software, specifically within the `ExtensionBuilder().build_extension()` function. The vulnerability arises from the `/mount_extension` endpoint, where a path traversal issue allows attackers to navigate beyond the intended directory structure. This is facilitated by the `data.category` and `data.folder` parameters accepting empty strings (`""`), which, due to inadequate input sanitization, can lead to the construction of a `package_path` that points to the root directory. Consequently, if an attacker can create a `config.yaml` file in a controllable path, this path can be appended to the `extensions` list and trigger the execution of `__init__.py` in the current directory, leading to remote code execution. The vulnerability affects versions up to 5.9.0, and has been addressed in version 9.8. |
| PandasAI uses an interactive prompt function that is vulnerable to prompt injection and run arbitrary Python code that can lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE) instead of the intended explanation of the natural language processing by the LLM. |
