CVSS v3.1 |
| The YOP Poll plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Origin Validation Error in all versions up to, and including, 7.0.10. This is due to the plugin transmitting a wp_rest nonce to window.opener via postMessage() with a wildcard targetOrigin. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to steal a REST nonce scoped to a logged-in Administrator and use it to change the Administrator's email address and password, resulting in full account takeover. The Administrator must open an attacker-controlled page in order to exploit this vulnerability. |
| A flaw was found in the Ansible Automation Platform automation-controller. In the shipped
production configuration, the Controller trusts the client-supplied X-Forwarded-For header as
the request's client IP without verifying that it originated from a trusted proxy, and selects
the leftmost (attacker-controlled) header value. As a result, an attacker can forge the source
IP address recorded for their requests in the Controller's audit and access logs, degrading
the integrity of forensic and SIEM attribution. The flaw does not grant additional access. |
| The github-issue-bot templates in appwrite/templates verify the GitHub webhook signature with an inverted condition. verifyWebhook in node/github-issue-bot/src/github.js and in node-typescript/github-issue-bot/src/github.ts returns "typeof signature !== 'string' || (await verify(...))", so when the X-Hub-Signature-256 header is absent the first operand is true, the logical OR short-circuits, and the function reports success without performing any HMAC verification. main.js rejects a request only when verifyWebhook returns false, so an unauthenticated request carrying no signature passes the check. Processing then continues to postComment, which takes the repository and issue objects directly from the request body, letting the caller direct the deployed function to post a comment on a repository and issue of their choosing using the configured GITHUB_TOKEN, with the issue author login from the body interpolated into the comment text. |
| A flaw was found in openshift/oc-mirror. The tool incorrectly verifies PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) release image signatures by checking for signature errors before the entire signed body is processed, leading to a bypass of the signature verification. A remote attacker, by intercepting or manipulating network traffic to the signature endpoint, could exploit this to craft a PGP message with a valid Red Hat release key ID but a forged signature. This enables the `oc-mirror` tool to accept and mirror a malicious release payload into a disconnected registry, potentially compromising the integrity of software deployments. |
| A signature validation vulnerability exists in Foxit PDF Editor/Reader’s handling of incrementally updated PDF documents. Changes to visible document content may not invalidate the existing signature, allowing attackers to alter signed content and potentially carry out content spoofing while the document continues to appear validly signed. |
| A vulnerability in Apache Sling Security Bundle: the ReferrerFilter accepts weaker-than-orgin evidence.
This issue affects Apache Sling Security Bundle: before 1.3.2.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.3.2, which fixes the issue. |
| In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.13.2 up to and including 1.26.1, a vulnerability in ZONEMD configured zones (zonemd-check: yes) which are located below (but not at) a trust anchor allow for an attack window where (tampered with) zone contents are served (or stored to disk) prior to the ZONEMD integrity check. This is caused by the needed DS/DNSKEY asynchronous resolution that needs to happen before the ZONEMD check completes. If a zonefile is written to disk (zonefile: option) while the ZONEMD check failed, the tampered data are reloaded on startup and available until ZONEMD verification concludes again. If verification fails, the data is not served any more but still persists on disk for future reloads. |
| IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a remote attacker to forge validly-signed messages due to improper verification of cryptographic signatures. |
| A weakness has been identified in ag-ui-protocol ag-ui 1.0. The impacted element is the function prepareRunAgentInput of the file agent/agent.ts of the component Event Application Layer. This manipulation of the argument TEXT_MESSAGE_START causes origin validation error. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| A flaw was found in the Kerberos federation provider of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. When Kerberos password authentication is used without SPNEGO, the system fails to verify the identity of the Key Distribution Center (KDC) by requesting a server ticket. This allows an attacker on the same network to spoof the KDC and bypass the authentication process, potentially gaining unauthorized access to user accounts. |
| SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted was found to be affected by an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability due to the insufficient integrity checks. Installations configured in a non-default and non-secure configuration are affected. |
| hickory-resolver versions before 0.26.2 fail to propagate bogus DNSSEC proof states through the Resolver::lookup() and Resolver::lookup_ip() APIs, allowing invalid records to be returned as successful results. Attackers controlling the answering zone or positioned on the network path can have forged DNS records accepted as validated, bypassing DNSSEC authentication checks. |
| Postiz generates security-sensitive credentials using `Math.random()` instead of a cryptographically secure source. The same helper is used for OAuth access tokens, authorization codes, client secrets, organization API keys, and PKCE verifiers, meaning these credentials depend entirely on V8’s deterministic xorshift128+ PRNG state.
An unauthenticated OAuth dynamic client registration endpoint exposes freshly generated client credentials, giving attackers enough consecutive PRNG output to reconstruct that internal state. Once recovered, they can deterministically derive past and future values produced by the same generator, potentially compromising credentials belonging to other users and organizations. |
| An HTTP endpoint intended for provisioning enterprise and reseller organisations is reachable without any session. The authentication middleware is bound only to an explicit list of controllers, and the enterprise controller is not on that list, so no authentication runs for these routes.
The endpoint's only check is that the request body carries a token bearing a valid signature from the instance secret. It does not check what that token was issued for. Login tokens are signed with the same secret and carry no purpose, audience or expiry claim, so an ordinary user's own session token satisfies the check.
Presented with such a token, the endpoint creates a new organisation holding the highest subscription tier, flagged as lifetime and with a channel allowance far above any sold plan, creates an organisation-owner account alongside it, and returns the new organisation's API key in the response body. That key is immediately valid against the public API. |
| Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. Prior to 3.7.2, Joplin Desktop for Windows omits publisherName from packages/app-desktop/package.json, so the generated app-update.yml causes NsisUpdater.verifySignature() to skip comparison of a downloaded update's Authenticode signer with Joplin's signer. An attacker who controls the update delivery path can replace the update metadata and installer, and the client accepts an installer signed by another publisher or left unsigned after the user approves installation. Successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code with the user's privileges and can compromise notes, credentials, and local data. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.2. |
| Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. From 8.9.7 until 8.9.8, the Notepad++ updater and signature verification path can accept a modified GUP.exe file whose embedded certificate metadata remains present even though its Authenticode digest is invalid. An attacker who can replace or plant the updater-related file can cause Notepad++ to launch attacker-modified code when a user triggers the updater path, but the issue does not provide remote code execution by itself. This issue is fixed in version 8.9.8. |
| Site isolation issue in the Reader Mode component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156, Firefox ESR 153.3, Thunderbird 156, and Thunderbird 153.3. |
| Origin validation error in Windows DNS allows an unauthorized attacker to perform spoofing over a network. |
| Dark Reader is an accessibility browser extension that makes web pages colors dark. Prior to 4.9.126, a website can cause the browser extension's image inversion pipeline to request an unauthenticated icon-like bitmap from a locally running web server when the resource uses a known public-like HTTPS URL and is detected as requiring inversion. This behavior can cross the website-to-local-network boundary and disclose limited information associated with the requested resource. The darkreader npm package used for website integration is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.9.126 for Firefox and version 4.9.128 for other browsers. |
| Cocos AI is a confidential computing system for running AI workloads inside trusted execution environments. In versions up to and including 0.8.2, the intra-handshake attested TLS (aTLS) AMD SEV-SNP verification path does not enforce attestation freshness when the expected reportData value is nil, empty, or omitted, leaving the SEV-SNP policy ReportData unset so the verifier accepts unrelated or stale Evidence not bound to the current connection. A relying party that uses this path without an expected reportData as a trust or authorization decision can be induced to trust an unintended attestation context; a supplied non-empty reportData is still validated. The issue is fixed in version 0.9.0. |
