| webpack-dev-server versions up to and including 5.2.3 are vulnerable to cross-origin source code exposure when serving over a non-potentially trustworthy origin such as plain HTTP. The previous fix relied on the Sec-Fetch-Mode and Sec-Fetch-Site request headers, which browsers omit for non-trustworthy origins, allowing a malicious site to load the bundled source as a script and read it across origins. Impact: an attacker controlling a website visited by a developer running webpack-dev-server can recover the application source code when the dev server runs over HTTP at a guessable host and port. Chromium based browsers from Chrome 142 onward are not affected due to local network access restrictions. Upgrade to webpack-dev-server 5.2.4 or later, which sets Cross-Origin-Resource-Policy: same-origin on responses. |
| Audiobookshelf is a self-hosted audiobook and podcast server. Prior to 2.32.2, the POST /api/backups/upload endpoint decompresses the details entry from an uploaded .audiobookshelf ZIP file entirely into memory using zip.entryData(), with no limit on the decompressed size. The upload middleware also has no file size limit. An admin user can upload a crafted ZIP containing a highly compressed details entry that, when decompressed, consumes hundreds of megabytes or gigabytes of memory, crashing the server process via out-of-memory. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.32.2. |
| The Rate Star Review Vote - AJAX Reviews, Votes, Star Ratings plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to and including 1.6.4. The vwrsr_review() AJAX handler lacks both capability checks and nonce verification. The only access control is an is_user_logged_in() check. When the 'form' parameter is set to 'update', the function takes an arbitrary post ID from the user-supplied 'rating_id' GET parameter, sets it as the post ID in the update array, and passes it directly to wp_update_post(). This overwrites the target post's title, content, author (changed to the attacker's user ID), post_type (changed to the plugin's custom post type, default 'review'), and status. Additionally, update_post_meta() is called on the arbitrary post ID at lines 758-763, modifying its metadata. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to modify the title, content, author, post type, and metadata of arbitrary posts and pages on the site via the 'rating_id' parameter, effectively allowing full post content takeover. |
| WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, plugin/CloneSite/cloneClient.json.php echoes the local CloneSite shared secret ($objClone->myKey, a constant md5($global['systemRootPath'] . $global['salt'])) into the HTTP response body on every unauthenticated request. The unauthenticated error branch was intended to reject non-admin callers without a valid key, but the rejection message interpolates the expected key before die(). When the victim has CloneSite configured with a remote cloneSiteURL (standard federation/backup setup), the leaked myKey is exactly the credential that authenticates the victim to that remote server's cloneServer.json.php, allowing the attacker to impersonate the victim and trigger a full mysqldump of the remote's database to the remote's public videos/clones/ directory Commit e6566f56a28f4556b2a0a09d03717a719dcb49da contains an updated fix. |
| The LifePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'n' parameter of the lp_update_mds AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.2. This is due to the `wp_ajax_nopriv_lp_update_mds` action being registered without nonce verification or capability checks, combined with insufficient input sanitization and output escaping when the series name is rendered in the admin settings page. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, objects/sendEmail.json.php exposes two branches depending on whether contactForm=1 is submitted. When the parameter is omitted, the endpoint sets $sendTo to an attacker-supplied email and, for unauthenticated callers, uses the site's own contact email as the message From:/Reply-To:. The endpoint is explicitly allow-listed as a "public write action" in objects/functionsSecurity.php (line 885), so it requires no authentication or CSRF token. An unauthenticated attacker (solving a captcha) can force the site's own SMTP infrastructure to send attacker-composed emails to arbitrary recipients with the site's legitimate sender address, passing SPF/DKIM/DMARC for the site's domain — ideal for targeted phishing and brand impersonation. Commit 4e3709895857a5857f0edb46b0ee984de0d9e1a2 contains an updated fix. |
| exiftool-vendored provides cross-platform Node.js access to ExifTool. Prior to 35.19.0, exiftool-vendored starts ExifTool in -stay_open True -@ - mode, where arguments are read from stdin one per line. In affected versions, several caller-supplied strings were interpolated into ExifTool arguments without rejecting line delimiters. A newline or carriage return inside one of those strings could split a single intended argument into multiple ExifTool arguments, allowing argument injection. The fix also rejects NUL bytes as unsafe control characters. Applications that pass attacker-controlled strings to affected APIs may allow an attacker to make ExifTool read files accessible to the ExifTool process, or write output to attacker-chosen file system paths accessible to that process. No remote code execution has been demonstrated. This vulnerability is fixed in 35.19.0. |

| Outline is a service that allows for collaborative documentation. Prior to 1.7.0, ZipHelper.extract computes the extraction path for each entry by passing a full filesystem path through trimFileAndExt, a filename helper that calls path.basename on its input when truncating. When a zip entry's nested path is long enough to push the joined filesystem path over MAX_PATH_LENGTH (4096 bytes), trimFileAndExt silently drops all directory components and returns a bare filename. fs.createWriteStream then opens the file relative to the process working directory instead of inside the extraction sandbox, and the escaped file persists after import cleanup because cleanupExtractedData only removes the temporary extraction directory. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.7.0. |
| DeepChat is an open-source artificial intelligence agent platform that unifies models, tools, and agents. Prior to v1.0.4-beta.1, An incomplete mitigation for CVE-2025-55733 leaves DeepChat vulnerable to an arbitrary protocol execution bypass (RCE). While the patch correctly restricted api.openExternal() inside the renderer's preload/index.ts script, it structurally neglected to sanitize native Electron pop-up window handlers. An attacker or a compromised AI endpoint returning a Markdown link can trigger a target="_blank" native window interception in tabPresenter.ts, which forwards the malicious URL directly to shell.openExternal(url) and completely bypasses the isValidExternalUrl security boundary. This vulnerability is fixed in v1.0.4-beta.1. |
| Vaultwarden is a Bitwarden-compatible server written in Rust. Prior to 1.35.4, there is a security vulnerability in Vaultwarden that allows bypassing the login brute-force protection if email 2fa is enabled. If email 2fa is enabled, the unprotected 2fa-function send_email_login (email.rs, api endpoint /api/two-factor/send-email-login) also acts as an oracle determining whether a username-password combination is correct. An attacker can abuse that endpoint to brute-force passwords without rate-limiting. This works even for users who don't have email 2fa configured. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.35.4. |
| barebox version prior to 2026.04.0 contains multiple memory-safety vulnerabilities in the EFI PE loader in efi/loader/pe.c where integer overflow in virtual image size computation using 32-bit arithmetic on section VirtualAddress and size values allows undersized heap allocation, and PE section loading logic fails to validate that PointerToRawData plus copied size remains within the PE file buffer. An attacker can supply a malicious EFI PE binary via TFTP, USB, SD card, or network boot to trigger heap buffer overflow or out-of-bounds read from heap memory, potentially achieving code execution in bootloader context. |
