Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file getscreen.msi of the component Installation. The manipulation leads to creation of temporary file with insecure permissions. Local access is required to approach this attack. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The identifier VDB-273337 was assigned to this vulnerability. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but was not able to provide a technical response in time. | ||||
| CVE-2023-38037 | 1 Redhat | 3 Logging, Satellite, Satellite Capsule | 2026-04-15 | 3.3 Low |
| ActiveSupport::EncryptedFile writes contents that will be encrypted to a temporary file. The temporary file's permissions are defaulted to the user's current `umask` settings, meaning that it's possible for other users on the same system to read the contents of the temporary file. Attackers that have access to the file system could possibly read the contents of this temporary file while a user is editing it. All users running an affected release should either upgrade or use one of the workarounds immediately. | ||||
| CVE-2025-55629 | 1 Reolink | 1 Smart 2k+ Video Doorbell | 2026-04-15 | 6.5 Medium |
| Insecure permissions in Reolink Smart 2K+ Plug-in Wi-Fi Video Doorbell with Chime - firmware v3.0.0.4662_2503122283 allow attackers to arbitrarily change other users' passwords via manipulation of the userName value. | ||||
| CVE-2025-7647 | 2 Linux, Run-llama | 2 Linux, Llama Index | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| The llama-index-core package, up to version 0.12.44, contains a vulnerability in the `get_cache_dir()` function where a predictable, hardcoded directory path `/tmp/llama_index` is used on Linux systems without proper security controls. This vulnerability allows attackers on multi-user systems to steal proprietary models, poison cached embeddings, or conduct symlink attacks. The issue affects all Linux deployments where multiple users share the same system. The vulnerability is classified under CWE-379, CWE-377, and CWE-367, indicating insecure temporary file creation and potential race conditions. | ||||
| CVE-2024-6654 | 2026-04-15 | N/A | ||
| Products for macOS enables a user logged on to the system to perform a denial-of-service attack, which could be misused to disable the protection of the ESET security product and cause general system slow-down. | ||||
| CVE-2025-10279 | 2 Lfprojects, Mlflow | 2 Mlflow, Mlflow | 2026-04-14 | N/A |
| In mlflow version 2.20.3, the temporary directory used for creating Python virtual environments is assigned insecure world-writable permissions (0o777). This vulnerability allows an attacker with write access to the `/tmp` directory to exploit a race condition and overwrite `.py` files in the virtual environment, leading to arbitrary code execution. The issue is resolved in version 3.4.0. | ||||
| CVE-2023-3972 | 1 Redhat | 23 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Aus, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 20 more | 2026-04-06 | 7.8 High |
| A vulnerability was found in insights-client. This security issue occurs because of insecure file operations or unsafe handling of temporary files and directories that lead to local privilege escalation. Before the insights-client has been registered on the system by root, an unprivileged local user or attacker could create the /var/tmp/insights-client directory (owning the directory with read, write, and execute permissions) on the system. After the insights-client is registered by root, an attacker could then control the directory content that insights are using by putting malicious scripts into it and executing arbitrary code as root (trivially bypassing SELinux protections because insights processes are allowed to disable SELinux system-wide). | ||||

| CVE-2026-33572 | 1 Openclaw | 1 Openclaw | 2026-04-01 | 8.4 High |
| OpenClaw before 2026.2.17 creates session transcript JSONL files with overly broad default permissions, allowing local users to read transcript contents. Attackers with local access can read transcript files to extract sensitive information including secrets from tool output. | ||||
| CVE-2026-25645 | 2 Psf, Python | 2 Psf-requests, Requests | 2026-03-30 | 4.4 Medium |
| Requests is a HTTP library. Prior to version 2.33.0, the `requests.utils.extract_zipped_paths()` utility function uses a predictable filename when extracting files from zip archives into the system temporary directory. If the target file already exists, it is reused without validation. A local attacker with write access to the temp directory could pre-create a malicious file that would be loaded in place of the legitimate one. Standard usage of the Requests library is not affected by this vulnerability. Only applications that call `extract_zipped_paths()` directly are impacted. Starting in version 2.33.0, the library extracts files to a non-deterministic location. If developers are unable to upgrade, they can set `TMPDIR` in their environment to a directory with restricted write access. | ||||
