CVSS v3.1 |
| SummaryThis advisory addresses a security vulnerability in Mautic where sensitive .env configuration files may be directly accessible via a web browser. This exposure could lead to the disclosure of sensitive information, including database credentials, API keys, and other critical system configurations.
Sensitive Information Disclosure via .env File Exposure: The .env file, which typically contains environment variables and sensitive application configurations, is directly accessible via a web browser due to missing web server configurations that restrict access to such files. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to view the contents of this file by simply navigating to its URL.
MitigationUpdate Mautic to the latest Mautic version.
By default, Mautic does not use .env files for production data.
For Apache users: Ensure your web server is configured to respect .htaccess files.
For Nginx users: As Nginx does not inherently support .htaccess files, you must manually add a configuration block to your Nginx server configuration to deny access to .env files. Add the following to your Nginx configuration for the Mautic site:
location ~ /\.env {
deny all;
}
After modifying your Nginx configuration, remember to reload or restart your Nginx service for the changes to take effect. |
| A local user may find a configuration file on the client workstation with unencrypted sensitive data. This allows an attacker to impersonate the device or prevent the device from accessing the cloud portal which leads to a DoS. |
| An flaw was found in the OpenStack Platform (RHOSP) director, a toolset for installing and managing a complete RHOSP environment. Plaintext passwords may be stored in log files, which can expose sensitive information to anyone with access to the logs. |
| This vulnerability exists in ZKTeco WL20 due to storage of Wi-Fi credentials, configuration data and system data in plaintext within the device firmware. An attacker with physical access could exploit this vulnerability by extracting the firmware and reverse engineer the binary data to access the plaintext sensitive data stored in the targeted device.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow the attacker to gain unauthorized network access, retrieve and manipulate data on the targeted device. |
| phpgt/Dom provides access to modern DOM APIs. Versions of phpgt/Dom prior to 4.1.8 expose the GITHUB_TOKEN in the Dom workflow run artifact. The ci.yml workflow file uses actions/upload-artifact@v4 to upload the build artifact. This artifact is a zip of the current directory, which includes the automatically generated .git/config file containing the run's GITHUB_TOKEN. Seeing as the artifact can be downloaded prior to the end of the workflow, there is a few seconds where an attacker can extract the token from the artifact and use it with the GitHub API to push malicious code or rewrite release commits in your repository. Any downstream user of the repository may be affected, but the token should only be valid for the duration of the workflow run, limiting the time during which exploitation could occur. Version 4.1.8 fixes the issue. |
| PMD is an extensible multilanguage static code analyzer. The passphrase for the PMD and PMD Designer release signing keys are included in jar published to Maven Central. The private key itself is not known to have been compromised itself, but given its passphrase is, it must also be considered potentially compromised. As a mitigation, both compromised keys have been revoked so that no future use of the keys are possible. Note, that the published artifacts in Maven Central under the group id net.sourceforge.pmd are not compromised and the signatures are valid. |
| zhmcclient is a pure Python client library for the IBM Z HMC Web Services API. In affected versions the Python package "zhmcclient" writes password-like properties in clear text into its HMC and API logs in the following cases: 1. The 'boot-ftp-password' and 'ssc-master-pw' properties when creating or updating a partition in DPM mode, in the zhmcclient API and HMC logs. 2. The 'ssc-master-pw' and 'zaware-master-pw' properties when updating an LPAR in classic mode, in the zhmcclient API and HMC logs. 3. The 'ssc-master-pw' and 'zaware-master-pw' properties when creating or updating an image activation profile in classic mode, in the zhmcclient API and HMC logs. 4. The 'password' property when creating or updating an HMC user, in the zhmcclient API log. 5. The 'bind-password' property when creating or updating an LDAP server definition, in the zhmcclient API and HMC logs. This issue affects only users of the zhmcclient package that have enabled the Python loggers named "zhmcclient.api" (for the API log) or "zhmcclient.hmc" (for the HMC log) and that use the functions listed above. This issue has been fixed in zhmcclient version 1.18.1. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in POWER METER SICAM Q100 (7KG9501-0AA01-0AA1) (All versions >= V2.60 < V2.62), POWER METER SICAM Q100 (7KG9501-0AA01-2AA1) (All versions >= V2.60 < V2.62), POWER METER SICAM Q100 (7KG9501-0AA31-0AA1) (All versions >= V2.60 < V2.62), POWER METER SICAM Q100 (7KG9501-0AA31-2AA1) (All versions >= V2.60 < V2.62), POWER METER SICAM Q200 family (All versions >= V2.70 < V2.80). Affected devices store the password for the SMTP account as plain text. This could allow an authenticated local attacker to extract it and use the configured SMTP service for arbitrary purposes. |
| Obsidian GitHub Copilot Plugin versions prior to 1.1.7 store Github API token in cleartext form. As a result, an attacker may perform unauthorized operations on the linked Github account. |
| Oxide before 6 has unencrypted Control Plane datastores. |
| The web server of the Access Manager offers a functionality to download a backup of the local database stored on the device. This database contains the whole configuration. This includes encrypted MIFARE keys, card data, user PINs and much more. The PINs are even stored unencrypted. Combined with the fact that an attacker can easily get access to the backup functionality by abusing the session management issue (CVE-2025-59101), or by exploiting the weak default password (CVE-2025-59108), or by simply setting a new password without prior authentication via the SOAP API (CVE-2025-59097), it is easily possible to access the sensitive data on the device. |
| This vulnerability exists in TP-Link Tapo H200 V1 IoT Smart Hub due to storage of Wi-Fi credentials in plain text within the device firmware. An attacker with physical access could exploit this by extracting the firmware and analyzing the binary data to obtain the Wi-Fi credentials stored on the vulnerable device. |
| Infoblox BloxOne v2.4 was discovered to contain a business logic flaw due to thick client vulnerabilities. |
| Valmet DNA user passwords in plain text. This practice poses a security risk as attackers who gain access to local project data can read the passwords. |
| A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in Netis WF-2404 1.1.124EN. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the component BusyBox Shell. The manipulation leads to cleartext storage of sensitive information. It is possible to launch the attack on the physical device. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| This vulnerability exists in Digisol DG-GR6821AC Router due to storage of credentials and PINS without encryption in the device firmware. An attacker with physical access could exploit this vulnerability by extracting the firmware and reverse engineer the binary data to access the unencrypted data stored in the firmware of targeted device.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow the attacker to gain unauthorized access to the network of the targeted device. |
| The lack of encryption in the DuoxMe (formerly Blue) application binary in versions prior to 3.3.1 for iOS devices allows an attacker to gain unauthorised access to the application code and discover sensitive information. |
| Cleartext storage of sensitive information was discovered in Click Programming Software version v3.60. The vulnerability can be exploited by a local user with access to the file system, while an administrator session is active, to steal credentials stored in clear text. |
| A security issue was discovered within the legacy Ansible playbook component of Verve Asset Manager, caused by plaintext secrets incorrectly stored when a playbook is running. This component has been retired and has been optional since the 1.36 release in 2024. |
| A flaw was found in Keycloak in OAuth 2.0 Pushed Authorization Requests (PAR). Client-provided parameters were found to be included in plain text in the KC_RESTART cookie returned by the authorization server's HTTP response to a `request_uri` authorization request, possibly leading to an information disclosure vulnerability. |
