| An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by uploading arbitrary
files via a specific service, which could lead to system compromise. |
| XODA version 0.4.5 contains an unauthenticated file upload vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code on the server. The flaw resides in the upload functionality, which fails to properly validate or restrict uploaded file types. By crafting a multipart/form-data POST request, an attacker can upload a .php file directly into the web-accessible files/ directory and trigger its execution via a subsequent GET request. |

NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| The AdRotate Banner Manager – The only ad manager you'll need plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file extension sanitization in the adrotate_insert_media() function in all versions up to, and including, 5.13.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files with double extensions on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. This is only exploitable on select instances where the configuration will execute the first extension present. |
| CHANGING Mobile One Time Password's uploading function in a hidden page does not filter file type properly. Remote attackers with administrator privilege can exploit this vulnerability to upload and run malicious file to execute system commands. |
| Insufficient verification vulnerability exists in Broadcast Mail CGI (pmc.exe) included in A.K.I Software's PMailServer/PMailServer2 products. If this vulnerability is exploited, a user who can upload files through the product may execute an arbitrary executable file with the web server's execution privilege. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Wangshen SecGate 3600 up to 20240516. This affects an unknown part of the file /?g=log_import_save. | Ruijie NBR series routers contain an unauthenticated arbitrary file upload vulnerability via /ddi/server/fileupload.php. The endpoint accepts attacker-supplied values in the name and uploadDir parameters and saves the provided multipart file content without adequate validation or sanitization of file type, path, or extension. A remote attacker can upload a crafted PHP file and then access it from the web root, resulting in arbitrary code execution in the context of the web service. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-01-14 UTC. |
| File Upload vulnerability in Shibang Communications Co., Ltd. IP network intercom broadcasting system v.1.0 allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via the my_parser.php component. |

| Paymenter is a free and open-source webshop solution for hostings. Prior to version 1.2.11, the ticket attachments functionality in Paymenter allows a malicious authenticated user to upload arbitrary files. This could result in sensitive data extraction from the database, credentials being read from configuration files, and arbitrary system commands being run under the web server user context. This vulnerability was patched by commit 87c3db4 and was released under the version 1.2.11 tag without any other code modifications compared to version 1.2.10. If upgrading is not immediately possible, administrators can mitigate this vulnerability with one or more of the following measures: updating nginx config to download attachments instead of executing them or disallowing access to /storage/ fully using a WAF such as Cloudflare. |
