CVE-2023-53753 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: fix mapping to non-allocated address [Why] There is an issue mapping non-allocated location of memory. It would allocate gpio registers from an array out of bounds. [How] Patch correct numbers of bounds for using.
CVE-2023-53752 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: deal with integer overflows in kmalloc_reserve() Blamed commit changed: ptr = kmalloc(size); if (ptr) size = ksize(ptr); size = kmalloc_size_roundup(size); ptr = kmalloc(size); This allowed various crash as reported by syzbot [1] and Kyle Zeng. Problem is that if @size is bigger than 0x80000001, kmalloc_size_roundup(size) returns 2^32. kmalloc_reserve() uses a 32bit variable (obj_size), so 2^32 is truncated to 0. kmalloc(0) returns ZERO_SIZE_PTR which is not handled by skb allocations. Following trace can be triggered if a netdev->mtu is set close to 0x7fffffff We might in the future limit netdev->mtu to more sensible limit (like KMALLOC_MAX_SIZE). This patch is based on a syzbot report, and also a report and tentative fix from Kyle Zeng. CVE-2023-53713 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: sme: Use STR P to clear FFR context field in streaming SVE mode The FFR is a predicate register which can vary between 16 and 256 bits in size depending upon the configured vector length. When saving the SVE state in streaming SVE mode, the FFR register is inaccessible and so commit 9f5848665788 ("arm64/sve: Make access to FFR optional") simply clears the FFR field of the in-memory context structure. Unfortunately, it achieves this using an unconditional 8-byte store and so if the SME vector length is anything other than 64 bytes in size we will either fail to clear the entire field or, worse, we will corrupt memory immediately following the structure. This has led to intermittent kfence splats in CI [1] and can trigger kmalloc Redzone corruption messages when running the 'fp-stress' kselftest: | ============================================================================= | BUG kmalloc-1k (Not tainted): kmalloc Redzone overwritten | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | 0xffff000809bf1e22-0xffff000809bf1e27 @offset=7714. Replace the 8-byte store with a store of a predicate register which has been zero-initialised with PFALSE, ensuring that the entire field is cleared in memory. CVE-2023-53698 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: fix refcount underflow in error path Fix a refcount underflow problem reported by syzbot that can happen when a system is running out of memory. If xp_alloc_tx_descs() fails, and it can only fail due to not having enough memory, then the error path is triggered. In this error path, the refcount of the pool is decremented as it has incremented before. However, the reference to the pool in the socket was not nulled. This means that when the socket is closed later, the socket teardown logic will think that there is a pool attached to the socket and try to decrease the refcount again, leading to a refcount underflow. I chose this fix as it involved adding just a single line. Another option would have been to move xp_get_pool() and the assignment of xs->pool to after the if-statement and using xs_umem->pool instead of xs->pool in the whole if-statement resulting in somewhat simpler code, but this would have led to much more churn in the code base perhaps making it harder to backport.

As commit 131294c35ed6 fixed delayed allocation bug in ext4_clu_mapped for bigalloc + inline. But it only resolved issue when has inline data, if inline data has been converted to extent(ext4_da_convert_inline_data_to_extent) before writepages, there is no EXT4_STATE_MAY_INLINE_DATA flag. However i_data is still store inline data in this scene. Then will trigger UAF when find extent. To resolve above issue, there is need to add judge "ext4_has_inline_data(inode)" in ext4_clu_mapped().
CVE-2023-53683 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs: hfsplus: remove WARN_ON() from hfsplus_cat_{read,write}_inode() syzbot is hitting WARN_ON() in hfsplus_cat_{read,write}_inode(), for crafted filesystem image can contain bogus length. There conditions are not kernel bugs that can justify kernel to panic.
CVE-2023-53680 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Avoid calling OPDESC() with ops->opnum == OP_ILLEGAL OPDESC() simply indexes into nfsd4_ops[] by the op's operation number, without range checking that value. It assumes callers are careful to avoid calling it with an out-of-bounds opnum value. nfsd4_decode_compound() is not so careful, and can invoke OPDESC() with opnum set to OP_ILLEGAL, which is 10044 -- well beyond the end of nfsd4_ops[].
CVE-2023-53679 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 8.3 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt7601u: fix an integer underflow Fix an integer underflow that leads to a null pointer dereference in 'mt7601u_rx_skb_from_seg()'. The variable 'dma_len' in the URB packet could be manipulated, which could trigger an integer underflow of 'seg_len' in 'mt7601u_rx_process_seg()'. This underflow subsequently causes the 'bad_frame' checks in 'mt7601u_rx_skb_from_seg()' to be bypassed, eventually leading to a dereference of the pointer 'p', which is a null pointer. Ensure that 'dma_len' is greater than 'min_seg_len'. Found by a modified version of syzkaller. CVE-2023-53676 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: target: iscsi: Fix buffer overflow in lio_target_nacl_info_show() The function lio_target_nacl_info_show() uses sprintf() in a loop to print details for every iSCSI connection in a session without checking for the buffer length. With enough iSCSI connections it's possible to overflow the buffer provided by configfs and corrupt the memory. This patch replaces sprintf() with sysfs_emit_at() that checks for buffer boundries.
