This parsing does not adequately handle metacharacters, leading to an escape from the shell. All applications relying on this method in a security-critical path to handle user input are affected and could be exploited. In particular, because sendInput() sends a string to a terminal, a control character such as \x01 can be used during injection.

goshs is a SimpleHTTPServer written in Go. Prior to version 2.0.2, the PUT upload handler (httpserver/updown.go) lacks the CSRF token validation that was added to the POST upload handler during the CVE-2026-40883 fix. Combined with the unconditional Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * on the OPTIONS preflight handler (httpserver/server.go), any website can write arbitrary files to a goshs instance through the victim's browser — bypassing network isolation (e.g. localhost, internal network). This issue has been patched in version 2.0.2.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drivers: media: dvb-frontends/rtl2832: fix an out-of-bounds write error Ensure index in rtl2832_pid_filter does not exceed 31 to prevent out-of-bounds access. dev->filters is a 32-bit value, so set_bit and clear_bit functions should only operate on indices from 0 to 31. If index is 32, it will attempt to access a non-existent 33rd bit, leading to out-of-bounds access. Change the boundary check from index > 32 to index >= 32 to resolve this issue.
