CVSS v3.1 |
MLflow's dspy flavor, versions >= 2.0, applies the MLFLOW_ALLOW_PICKLE_DESERIALIZATION=False security control only when the model_path ends in .pkl, which allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted MLmodel artifact.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift is vulnerable to unauthenticated remote code execution via Java native deserialization on the PayDir Business Rules Manager RMI SSL endpoint (BrmRMISSLServerSocketFactory.java:95, EP8). An adjacent-network attacker can deliver a crafted serialized payload to achieve arbitrary code execution, exposing all PayDir credentials and enabling manipulation of payment business rules.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code due to improper deserialization of untrusted data.
| Crypt::SelfCertificate versions from 1.01 through 1.05 for Perl contains malware which executes Python code from an obfuscated URL.
The generate_certificate runs a Python script saved as a certificate file. The pyhton script attempts to retrieve code from a hardcoded http URL that is obfuscated with base64 encoding and run the response body directly.
The impact is that arbitrary code can be invoked as the user, without a dropped script being saved on the affected host.
The releases have no test scripts nor build hooks. The intention may have been to trigger the payload after installation.
For version 1.01, the dropper script is in lib/Crypt/SelfCertificate/sample/validate.p12.
For version 1.05, the dropper script is in lib/Crypt/SelfCertificate/sample/cert7.pem.

debug is a JavaScript debugging utility. On 8 September 2025, the npm publishing account for debug was taken over after a phishing attack. Version 4.4.2 was published, functionally identical to the previous patch version, but with a malware payload added attempting to redirect cryptocurrency transactions to the attacker's own addresses from within browser environments. Local environments, server environments, command line applications, etc. are not affected. If the package was used in a browser context (e.g. a direct <script> inclusion, or via a bundling tool such as Babel, Rollup, Vite, Next.js, etc.) there is a chance the malware still exists and such bundles will need to be rebuilt. The malware seemingly only targets cryptocurrency transactions and wallets such as MetaMask. npm removed the offending package from the registry over the course of the day on 8 September, preventing further downloads from npm proper. On 13 September, the package owner published new patch versions to help cache-bust those using private registries who might still have the compromised version cached. Users should upgrade to the latest patch version, completely remove their node_modules directory, clean their package manager's global cache, and rebuild any browser bundles from scratch. Those operating private registries or registry mirrors should purge the offending versions from any caches. This issue has been resolved in 4.4.3.
LightLLM through 1.2.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in the KV-transfer worker when started with --pd_trans_mode nccl, which exposes an unauthenticated RPyC control channel that deserializes attacker-supplied data. Attackers can send malicious pickled objects to the exposed RPyC ThreadedServer to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the LightLLM service account.
A security vulnerability has been detected in Dask up to 2026.8.0. This affects the function from_npy_stack of the file dask/array/core.py of the component Loader. Such manipulation leads to deserialization. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
openEQUELLA before 2026.1.0 contains an authenticated remote code execution vulnerability that allows any authenticated non-guest user to execute arbitrary code by exploiting Java deserialization in the HTTP invoker endpoint at /invoker/*. Attackers can bypass the class-name denylist enforced by PluginAwareObjectInputStream by nesting a serialized payload inside a java.security.SignedObject, causing the inner stream to be deserialized by a separate ObjectInputStream that does not apply the denylist, ultimately reaching a JNDI sink and enabling code execution.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow an adjacent-network attacker to execute arbitrary code due to deserialization of untrusted data.
A security flaw has been discovered in recommenders-team recommenders up to 1.2.1. This impacts the function pickle.load of the file recommenders/models/newsrec/io/mind_iterator.py of the component Dict Loading. Performing a manipulation results in deserialization. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A flaw was found in camel-infinispan. This vulnerability involves unsafe deserialization in the ProtoStream remote aggregation repository. A remote attacker with low privileges could exploit this by sending specially crafted data, leading to arbitrary code execution. This allows the attacker to gain full control over the affected system, impacting its confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.2 could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system due to the deserialization of untrusted data.
SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted was found to be affected by an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability stemming from deserialization of untrusted data when the application is configured to use a specific communication mode.
SGLang's multimodal generation runtime is vulnerable to unauthenticated arbitrary code execution because the disaggregated-diffusion orchestrator's DiffusionServer binds an unauthenticated ZeroMQ ROUTER socket to a network interface and passes the final frame of received multipart messages directly to pickle.loads() before any validation occurs.
The Give Tributes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 2.3.1 via deserialization of untrusted input . This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present. This vulnerability is only reachable when the "Allow Multiple Recipients" option is enabled for the donation form, as the single-recipient code path applies sanitize_textarea_field() which would neutralize the payload. Exploitation additionally requires the eCard "Custom Message" option to be disabled, which is the plugin default: when it is enabled the personalized message becomes a required field and GiveWP's give_clean() blanks serialized input during validation, causing the donation to be rejected before it is stored.
Netdata is an open source observability tool. Prior to 2.10.4, the setuid-root ndsudo helper command fail2ban-client-status-socket in src/collectors/utils/ndsudo.c accepts a caller-controlled --socket_path from the low-privileged netdata service account. The account can direct root fail2ban-client to a malicious UNIX socket, and fail2ban/client/csocket.py CSocket.receive() passes the returned data to pickle.loads(), allowing attacker-controlled code to execute as root on systems with fail2ban-client installed. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.4 and nightly build 2.10.0-782-nightly.
Sentry is an error tracking and performance monitoring tool. From 23.11.0 until 26.7.0, Sentry instances with the relocation feature enabled unsafely deserialize a legacy database field while importing a user-supplied relocation archive. An authenticated user can craft an archive that causes arbitrary code execution in the import worker process. Self-hosted installations using the default configuration are not affected because the relocation feature is disabled by default. This issue is fixed in version 26.7.0.
Sandbox escape due to incorrect boundary conditions in the Widget: Win32 component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156, Firefox ESR 153.3, Thunderbird 156, and Thunderbird 153.3.
An authenticated administrator who configures or tests LDAP connectivity in Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager versions 3.0.0 through 3.91.1 may be able to initiate unintended server-side connections when interacting with a malicious LDAP server.
| MISP ships with PHP's phar stream wrapper registered in both its web entry point and its console entry point.
The phar stream wrapper causes PHP to treat a phar archive as a directory, which has two security consequences:
- any filesystem operation on a caller-influenced path that resolves to a phar archive triggers an implicit unserialize() call, creating a deserialization sink;
- a relocated application root can reach executable code inside an uploaded phar file, enabling arbitrary code execution as the web user.
No component of MISP, the vendored CakePHP framework, or any runtime-loaded library reads or constructs phar archives. The wrapper therefore serves no legitimate purpose in the MISP runtime and exists solely as an available primitive for an attacker who can influence a filesystem path argument. |
