CVSS v3.1 |
| mod_ssl in Apache 2.0.50 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) by aborting an SSL connection in a way that causes an Apache child process to enter an infinite loop. |
| The BMP image processor for (1) gdk-pixbuf before 0.22 and (2) gtk2 before 2.2.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via a crafted BMP file. |
| Stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the LMT Dashboard of the Perx Customer Engagement & Loyalty Platform allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in a victim's browser. The vulnerability is due to improper sanitization of SVG file uploads. An attacker can upload a malicious SVG file containing a script payload to a campaign. When another user views this image on the public LMT microsite, the script executes, which can lead to session hijacking, data theft, or other unauthorized actions.This issue affects Customer Engagement & Loyalty Platform before 4.617.4. |
| Vitess is a database clustering system for horizontal scaling of MySQL. When executing the following simple query, the `vtgate` will go into an endless loop that also keeps consuming memory and eventually will run out of memory. This vulnerability is fixed in 19.0.4, 18.0.5, and 17.0.7. |
| In Genivia gSOAP with a specific configuration an unauthenticated remote attacker can generate a high CPU load when forcing to parse an XML having duplicate ID attributes which can lead to a DoS. |
| In GNOME Shell through 45.7, a portal helper can be launched automatically (without user confirmation) based on network responses provided by an adversary (e.g., an adversary who controls the local Wi-Fi network), and subsequently loads untrusted JavaScript code, which may lead to resource consumption or other impacts depending on the JavaScript code's behavior. |
| SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse CCAW application allows a privileged attacker to cause a high CPU load by executing a RFC enabled function modules without any input parameters, which results in reduced performance or interrupted operation of the affected resource. This leads to low impact on availability of the application, there is no impact on confidentiality and integrity. |
| A vulnerability in the IKEv2 feature of Cisco IOS Software, IOS XE Software, Secure Firewall ASA Software, and Secure FTD Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition.
This vulnerability is due to the improper processing of IKEv2 packets. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted IKEv2 packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause an infinite loop that exhausts resources and could cause the device to reload. |
| Webserver crash caused by scanning on TCP port 80 in Softing Industrial Automation GmbH gateways and switch.This issue affects
smartLink HW-PN: from 1.02 through 1.03
smartLink HW-DP: 1.31 |
| Rustls is a modern TLS library written in Rust. `rustls::ConnectionCommon::complete_io` could fall into an infinite loop based on network input. When using a blocking rustls server, if a client send a `close_notify` message immediately after `client_hello`, the server's `complete_io` will get in an infinite loop. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.23.5, 0.22.4, and 0.21.11. |
| A malformed DNS message in response to a query can cause the Lookup functions to get stuck in an infinite loop. |
| A vulnerability in the packet inspection functionality of the Snort 3 Detection Engine of Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to incorrect processing of traffic that is inspected by an affected device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted traffic through the affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to enter an infinite loop while inspecting traffic, resulting in a DoS condition. The system watchdog will restart the Snort process automatically. |
| The package `github.com/gomarkdown/markdown` is a Go library for parsing Markdown text and rendering as HTML. Prior to pseudoversion `v0.0.0-20240729232818-a2a9c4f`, which corresponds with commit `a2a9c4f76ef5a5c32108e36f7c47f8d310322252`, there was a logical problem in the paragraph function of the parser/block.go file, which allowed a remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition by providing a tailor-made input that caused an infinite loop, causing the program to hang and consume resources indefinitely. Submit `a2a9c4f76ef5a5c32108e36f7c47f8d310322252` contains fixes to this problem. |
| Memory corruptions can be remotely triggered in the Control-M/Agent when SSL/TLS communication is configured.
The issue occurs in the following cases:
* Control-M/Agent 9.0.20: SSL/TLS configuration is set to the non-default setting "use_openssl=n";
* Control-M/Agent 9.0.21 and 9.0.22: Agent router configuration uses the non-default settings "JAVA_AR=N" and "use_openssl=n" |
| Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub and other standards. This vulnerability allows a user to maneuver the Webfinger mechanism to perform a GET request to any internal resource on any Host, Port, URL combination regardless of present security mechanisms, and forcing the victim’s server into an infinite loop causing Denial of Service. Moreover, this issue can also be maneuvered into performing a Blind SSRF attack. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.14, 1.1.11, 1.2.11, and 1.3.4. |
| An improper input neutralization vulnerability in the management web interface of the Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS® software enables a malicious authenticated read-write administrator to impersonate another legitimate authenticated PAN-OS administrator.
The attacker must have network access to the management web interface to exploit this issue. You greatly reduce the risk of this issue by restricting access to the management web interface to only trusted internal IP addresses according to our recommended critical deployment guidelines https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/community-blogs/tips-amp-tricks-how-to-secure-the-management-access-of-your-palo/ba-p/464431 .
This issue does not affect Cloud NGFW and all Prisma® Access instances. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC CP 1542SP-1 (6GK7542-6UX00-0XE0) (All versions < V2.3), SIMATIC CP 1542SP-1 IRC (6GK7542-6VX00-0XE0) (All versions < V2.3), SIMATIC CP 1543SP-1 (6GK7543-6WX00-0XE0) (All versions < V2.3), SIPLUS ET 200SP CP 1542SP-1 IRC TX RAIL (6AG2542-6VX00-4XE0) (All versions < V2.3), SIPLUS ET 200SP CP 1543SP-1 ISEC (6AG1543-6WX00-7XE0) (All versions < V2.3), SIPLUS ET 200SP CP 1543SP-1 ISEC TX RAIL (6AG2543-6WX00-4XE0) (All versions < V2.3), SIPLUS TIM 1531 IRC (6AG1543-1MX00-7XE0) (All versions < V2.4.8), TIM 1531 IRC (6GK7543-1MX00-0XE0) (All versions < V2.4.8). The web server of affected products, if configured to allow the import of PKCS12 containers, could end up in an infinite loop when processing incomplete certificate chains.
This could allow an authenticated remote attacker to create a denial of service condition by importing specially crafted PKCS12 containers. |
| A hidden field manipulation vulnerability was identified in Issuetrak version 17.1 that could be triggered by an authenticated user.
When an authenticated user submits a ticket, the request can be intercepted and subsequently modified by using a proxy. The ticket requester can be changed from the original requester to another user in the same application,
which the application then accepts. |
| In some circumstances, when DNSdist is configured to use the nghttp2 library to process incoming DNS over HTTPS queries, an attacker might be able to cause a denial of service by crafting a DoH exchange that triggers an unbounded I/O read loop, causing an unexpected consumption of CPU resources. |
| When reading binary Ion data through Amazon.IonDotnet using the RawBinaryReader class, Amazon.IonDotnet does not check the number of bytes read from the underlying stream while deserializing the binary format. If the Ion data is malformed or truncated, this triggers an infinite loop condition that could potentially result in a denial of service. Users should upgrade to Amazon.IonDotnet version 1.3.1 and ensure any forked or derivative code is patched to incorporate the new fixes. |
