CVSS v3.1 |
| Directory traversal vulnerability in Action View in Ruby on Rails before 3.2.22.1, 4.0.x and 4.1.x before 4.1.14.1, 4.2.x before 4.2.5.1, and 5.x before 5.0.0.beta1.1 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files by leveraging an application's unrestricted use of the render method and providing a .. (dot dot) in a pathname. |
| GNU Bash through 4.3 bash43-025 processes trailing strings after certain malformed function definitions in the values of environment variables, which allows remote attackers to write to files or possibly have unknown other impact via a crafted environment, as demonstrated by vectors involving the ForceCommand feature in OpenSSH sshd, the mod_cgi and mod_cgid modules in the Apache HTTP Server, scripts executed by unspecified DHCP clients, and other situations in which setting the environment occurs across a privilege boundary from Bash execution. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2014-6271. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in Oracle Java SE 6u113, 7u99, and 8u77; Java SE Embedded 8u77; and JRockit R28.3.9 allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability via vectors related to JMX. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) component in Oracle Java SE 7 Update 2 and earlier, 6 Update 30 and earlier, and 5.0 Update 33 and earlier allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability via unknown vectors related to Concurrency. NOTE: the previous information was obtained from the February 2012 Oracle CPU. Oracle has not commented on claims from a downstream vendor and third party researchers that this issue occurs because the AtomicReferenceArray class implementation does not ensure that the array is of the Object[] type, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service (JVM crash) or bypass Java sandbox restrictions. NOTE: this issue was originally mapped to CVE-2011-3571, but that identifier was already assigned to a different issue. |
| sapi/cgi/cgi_main.c in PHP before 5.3.12 and 5.4.x before 5.4.2, when configured as a CGI script (aka php-cgi), does not properly handle query strings that lack an = (equals sign) character, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by placing command-line options in the query string, related to lack of skipping a certain php_getopt for the 'd' case. |
| The n_tty_write function in drivers/tty/n_tty.c in the Linux kernel through 3.14.3 does not properly manage tty driver access in the "LECHO & !OPOST" case, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (memory corruption and system crash) or gain privileges by triggering a race condition involving read and write operations with long strings. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: fix potential UAF in cifs_dump_full_key()
Skip sessions that are being teared down (status == SES_EXITING) to
avoid UAF. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: Fix out-of-bounds write warning
Check the ring type value to fix the out-of-bounds
write warning |
| Unspecified vulnerability in Oracle Java SE 6u95, 7u80, and 8u45, and Java SE Embedded 7u75 and 8u33 allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability via unknown vectors related to Libraries, a different vulnerability than CVE-2015-4732. |
| Incorrect handling of complex species in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 57.0.2987.98 for Linux, Windows, and Mac and 57.0.2987.108 for Android allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page. |
| Race condition in mm/gup.c in the Linux kernel 2.x through 4.x before 4.8.3 allows local users to gain privileges by leveraging incorrect handling of a copy-on-write (COW) feature to write to a read-only memory mapping, as exploited in the wild in October 2016, aka "Dirty COW." |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: fix null pointer dereference error in generate_encryptionkey
If client send two session setups with krb5 authenticate to ksmbd,
null pointer dereference error in generate_encryptionkey could happen.
sess->Preauth_HashValue is set to NULL if session is valid.
So this patch skip generate encryption key if session is valid. |
| The patch for integer overflow vulnerabilities in Xpdf 2.0 and 3.0 (CVE-2004-0888) is incomplete for 64-bit architectures on certain Linux distributions such as Red Hat, which could leave Xpdf users exposed to the original vulnerabilities. |
| Midnight commander (mc) 4.5.55 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via "use of already freed memory." |
| The KDE screen saver in KDE before 3.0.5 does not properly check the return value from a certain function call, which allows attackers with physical access to cause a crash and access the desktop session. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in psd.c for ImageMagick 6.1.0, 6.1.7, and possibly earlier versions allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a .PSD image file with a large number of layers. |
| Buffer overflow in Vixie cron allows local users to gain root access via a long MAILTO environment variable in a crontab file. |
| The handle_stop_signal function in signal.c in Linux kernel 2.6.11 up to other versions before 2.6.13 and 2.6.12.6 allows local users to cause a denial of service (deadlock) by sending a SIGKILL to a real-time threaded process while it is performing a core dump. |
| Some functions that implement the locale subsystem on Unix do not properly cleanse user-injected format strings, which allows local attackers to execute arbitrary commands via functions such as gettext and catopen. |
| Race condition in Linux 2.6, when threads are sharing memory mapping via CLONE_VM (such as linuxthreads and vfork), might allow local users to cause a denial of service (deadlock) by triggering a core dump while waiting for a thread that has just performed an exec. |
