| Sandboxie is an open source sandbox-based isolation software for Windows. In versions 1.17.2 and earlier, a local denial of service vulnerability exists in the Sandboxie kernel driver. An unprivileged process running inside a Standard Sandbox can send a malformed IOCTL to the \Device\SandboxieDriverApi driver, triggering an immediate kernel crash (BSOD). The vulnerability affects the Standard Sandbox configuration both with and without dropped administrator privileges, but does not affect the Security Hardened Sandbox configuration. This issue has been fixed in version 1.17.3. Users who cannot update can use the Security Hardened Sandbox configuration as a workaround. |
| i18nextify is a JavaScript library that adds website internationalization via a script tag, without source code changes. Versions prior to 4.0.8 substitute {{key}} interpolation tokens inside src and href attribute values with the raw string returned by i18next.t(). The substitution logic in src/localize.js (the replaceInside handler) only guards against a duplicated http:// origin prefix — it does not validate the URL scheme of the substituted value. A translated value such as javascript:alert(1) or data:text/html,<script>...</script> is applied unchanged to the live DOM attribute when an attacker can influence the content of a translation file or the translation-backend response — for example, via a compromised translation CDN, user-contributed locales, a MITM on a plain-HTTP backend, or write access to the translation JSON. This issue was patched in version 4.0.8. |

| netbox-docker before 2.5.0 has a superuser account with default credentials (admin password for the admin account, and 0123456789abcdef0123456789abcdef01234567 value for SUPERUSER_API_TOKEN). In practice on the public Internet, almost all users changed the password but only about 90% changed the token. Having a default token value was intentional and was valuable for the main intended use case of the netbox-docker product (isolated development networks). Some users engaged in an effort to repurpose netbox-docker for production. The documentation for this effort stated that the defaults must not be used. However, installation did not ensure non-default values. The Supplier was aware of the CVE ID assignment and did not object to the assignment. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vfio/pci: Fix double free in dma-buf feature
The error path through vfio_pci_core_feature_dma_buf() ignores its
own advice to only use dma_buf_put() after dma_buf_export(), instead
falling through the entire unwind chain. In the unlikely event that
we encounter file descriptor exhaustion, this can result in an
unbalanced refcount on the vfio device and double free of allocated
objects.
Avoid this by moving the "put" directly into the error path and return
the errno rather than entering the unwind chain. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
counter: rz-mtu3-cnt: do not use struct rz_mtu3_channel's dev member
The counter driver can use HW channels 1 and 2, while the PWM driver can
use HW channels 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7.
The dev member is assigned both by the counter driver and the PWM driver
for channels 1 and 2, to their own struct device instance, overwriting
the previous value.
The sub-drivers race to assign their own struct device pointer to the
same struct rz_mtu3_channel's dev member.
The dev member of struct rz_mtu3_channel is used by the counter
sub-driver for runtime PM.
Depending on the probe order of the counter and PWM sub-drivers, the
dev member may point to the wrong struct device instance, causing the
counter sub-driver to do runtime PM actions on the wrong device.
To fix this, use the parent pointer of the counter, which is assigned
during probe to the correct struct device, not the struct device pointer
inside the shared struct rz_mtu3_channel. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
counter: rz-mtu3-cnt: prevent counter from being toggled multiple times
Runtime PM counter is incremented / decremented each time the sysfs
enable file is written to.
If user writes 0 to the sysfs enable file multiple times, runtime PM
usage count underflows, generating the following message.
rz-mtu3-counter rz-mtu3-counter.0: Runtime PM usage count underflow!
At the same time, hardware registers end up being accessed with clocks
off in rz_mtu3_terminate_counter() to disable an already disabled
channel.
If user writes 1 to the sysfs enable file multiple times, runtime PM
usage count will be incremented each time, requiring the same number of
0 writes to get it back to 0.
If user writes 0 to the sysfs enable file while PWM is in progress, PWM
is stopped without counter being the owner of the underlying MTU3
channel.
Check against the cached count_is_enabled value and exit if the user
is trying to set the same enable value. |
