| Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Insecure direct object reference (IDOR) in the Express saved search preset delete and edit dialogs . An authenticated user holding only view permission on a single Express entity could therefore permanently delete, with no undo, or rename saved search presets owned by Express entities for which they had no permission, and a renamed preset name was displayed back to users of the targeted entity, enabling defacement or social engineering. | Concrete CMS 9.0.0 to 9.5.2 stored group folder names without sanitization and printed them unescaped on the Members > Groups dashboard page, resulting in stored cross-site scripting. The add and edit group-folder handlers stored the submitted folder name without neutralizing HTML, and the group search grid returned it without output encoding, so the Groups dashboard rendered the name as live markup. An authenticated user holding the Add Group Folder permission could store a script payload as a folder name that executed in the session of any administrator who viewed the Groups dashboard, enabling session and token theft and any action available in the administrator's context. | Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 rendered Express entry labels as raw HTML when displaying associated entries, resulting in stored cross-site scripting. An unauthenticated attacker could submit a payload through a public Express Form; it then executed in an administrator's dashboard session when the associated entry was viewed, or in the browser of any visitor to a page using an Express Entry List block with association columns, allowing actions to be performed with that user's privileges. | Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.3 is vulnerable to stored XSS via the custom page alias name (customAliasName) because the Edit Alias dialog applied only trim() to the submitted value and performed no input neutralization. An authenticated user holding canWrite (editor) permission on a page could store a malicious alias name that was later rendered unescaped in the administrative Sitemap panel, where it executed automatically in any administrator or editor session that opened the panel, allowing an editor to escalate to administrator through the victim's active session. | Concrete CMS 9.2.0 to 9.5.2 did not enforce per-field edit_user_properties permissions on the REST API user write endpoints (PUT /ccm/api/1.0/users/{uID} and POST /ccm/api/1.0/users/{uID}/change_password). A user with an update-scoped OAuth token and permission to edit only one non-sensitive field could change another non-superuser's password, username, email, and attributes, taking over that account. | Concrete CMS 9 (9.0.0 through 9.5.2) does not perform an authorization check on the user selector autocomplete endpoint (/ccm/system/user/autocomplete), which backs the "Preview as User" panel and other user-selector components. The endpoint validates only a CSRF-style access token that is bound to the selector's display options rather than to the caller's identity or permissions, and that token is issued to anonymous visitors because the selector renders without an authorization check. Because an empty query resolves to a match-all filter, an unauthenticated attacker can submit an empty search and paginate the results to enumerate every backend account, disclosing the internal user ID, username, and email address of all administrative users, including the super-administrator (user ID 1). | Concrete CMS 9 before 9.5.3 was vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting (XSS) in the Feature, Feature Link, Hero Image, and Image blocks and before Concrete 8.5.21 in the feature and Image blocks because the external link URL was insufficiently validated by the link filter and was rendered without output escaping. A user with page-editing permissions (such as Add Block combined with Edit Contents on a single page) could store a crafted external link value that broke out of the link markup and injected arbitrary JavaScript. The script executed in the browser session of any user who subsequently viewed, previewed, or edited the affected page, which could lead to session hijacking and escalation of privileges up to full administrative takeover. | Concrete CMS 8.3.0 to 9.5.2 stored calendar event names without sanitization and rendered them without HTML escaping in the workflow approval and deletion notifications shown in the dashboard "Waiting For Me" block. A registered user permitted to add events to a calendar governed by an approval workflow could submit an event whose name contained a script payload, which then executed in an administrator's browser when the pending request was displayed and could be used to create a new administrator account. | Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 does not perform an object-level authorization check when a Page Type was updated. The Types::submit() dashboard controller loaded and saved the Page Type identified by a user-supplied ptID without calling canEditPageType(), so a signed-in dashboard user permitted to edit one Page Type could modify the configuration of Page Types outside their assigned authorization boundary. The update_page_type token was validated but is action- and user-scoped rather than object-scoped, so it did not constrain which Page Type could be targeted. | Concrete CMS 9.5.2 and below is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in the Express "Clear Entries" function (POST /index.php/dashboard/system/express/entities/delete_entries) because the controller records but does not enforce a failed CSRF token check, allowing the destructive operation to proceed when the token is missing or invalid. A remote unauthenticated attacker can force an authenticated administrator who visits an attacker-controlled page to permanently delete all entries belonging to an attacker-selected Express entity on a web application to which the administrator is currently authenticated. Because the default Contact Express object ships with a fixed entity UUID, the target identifier can be obtained without dashboard access. | Concrete CMS Area API's block-create endpoint in versions 9.2.0 to 9.5.2 did not invoke the block type controller's validate() method on submitted data, which, for file-referencing blocks such as hero_image and gallery, is where the referenced file is authorized against the user's file-manager visibility. As a result, an authenticated user holding the block-add scope could store, and cause the page to render, a reference to a file that the file-manager authorization policy would otherwise reject, disclosing that file's URL and preview to the editor and to visitors of the affected page. Under public file storage, the URL and thumbnail are exposed directly; under private storage, the disclosure is limited by the permission-checked download URL. | Concrete CMS 9 through 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in the block alias route (Process::alias() in concrete/controllers/backend/block/process.php).It does not verify that the referenced block is genuinely orphaned on the target page, nor that the caller holds any permission over the source block. A user granted only an area-scoped add_block_to_area delegation on their own page can therefore pass any block ID on the site: the source block's content is duplicated into an area the rogue editor controls, disclosing that content, and the original block is then force-deleted in the same request, destroying arbitrary site content. | Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in the Move Multiple Groups feature. The dashboard/users/groups/bulkupdate/confirm() endpoint moved the selected group tree nodes without validating an action token, so a state-changing group move could be processed for an authenticated user who did not initiate it. Because relocating a group under a new parent causes that group's members to inherit the parent's permissions, a forged move can change effective authorization. | Concrete CMS versions 9.5.0 through 9.5.2 are vulnerable to Open Redirect via the rcURL parameter. An attacker can craft a single link on the site's own domain that sends a user to an arbitrary external site immediately after authentication, facilitating phishing and credential theft. The same handling is present in the registration flow, giving a second entry point on sites with registration enabled. Concrete CMS versions prior to 9.5.0 do not include the rcURL parameter or this allowlist and are not affected. | Concrete CMS 9.2.0 to 9.5.2 contain a missing authorization vulnerability in the REST API Groups list endpoint. The listGroups() method in concrete/src/Api/Controller/Groups.php registers a permissions checker callback that unconditionally returns true, so no per-object (tree node) authorization is enforced when the group collection is returned. An authenticated user whose API token carries the groups:read scope can call GET /ccm/api/1.0/groups and receive every group on the site regardless of the view permissions on those groups, disclosing the organization's group structure, roles, and access hierarchy. | Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection via unserialize()
calls in the Workflow, Form block, and File/Set components that lack the
allowed_classes restriction. The Form block and File/Set sinks were addressed in
9.5.2; the Workflow component sinks were addressed in 9.5.3. An unauthenticated
attacker may trigger arbitrary PHP object instantiation if a malicious serialized
