CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: let recv_done verify data_offset, data_length and remaining_data_length
This is inspired by the related server fixes. |
| A vulnerability in the MIT Kerberos implementation allows GSSAPI-protected messages using RC4-HMAC-MD5 to be spoofed due to weaknesses in the MD5 checksum design. If RC4 is preferred over stronger encryption types, an attacker could exploit MD5 collisions to forge message integrity codes. This may lead to unauthorized message tampering. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: let smbd_destroy() call disable_work_sync(&info->post_send_credits_work)
In smbd_destroy() we may destroy the memory so we better
wait until post_send_credits_work is no longer pending
and will never be started again.
I actually just hit the case using rxe:

It means rxe_post_recv was called after rdma_destroy_qp().
This happened because put_receive_buffer() was triggered
by ib_drain_qp() and called:
queue_work(info->workqueue, &info->post_send_credits_work); |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: af_alg - Set merge to zero early in af_alg_sendmsg
If an error causes af_alg_sendmsg to abort, ctx->merge may contain
a garbage value from the previous loop. This may then trigger a
crash on the next entry into af_alg_sendmsg when it attempts to do
a merge that can't be done.
Fix this by setting ctx->merge to zero near the start of the loop. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: fix smbdirect_recv_io leak in smbd_negotiate() error path
During tests of another unrelated patch I was able to trigger this
error: Objects remaining on __kmem_cache_shutdown() |
| Insecure file operations in HPE Aruba Networking Fabric Composer’s backup functionality could allow authenticated attackers to achieve remote code execution. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system. |
| ATEN eco DC Missing Authorization Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of ATEN eco DC. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the web-based interface. The issue results from the lack of validating the assigned user role when handling requests. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges to resources normally protected from the user. Was ZDI-CAN-26647. |
| A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of HPE Aruba Networking Fabric Composer could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to view some system files. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to read files within the affected directory. |
| rocket.chat Incorrect Authorization Information Disclosure Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of rocket.chat. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the web service, which listens on TCP port 3000 by default. The issue results from incorrect authorization. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose information in the context of the application. Was ZDI-CAN-26517. |
| An out-of-band SQL injection vulnerability (OOB SQLi) has been detected in the Performance Evaluation (EDD) application developed by Gabinete Técnico de Programación. Exploiting this vulnerability in the parameter 'Id_usuario' in '/evaluacion_objetivos_ver_auto.aspx', could allow an attacker to extract sensitive information from the database through external channels, without the affected application returning the data directly, compromising the confidentiality of the stored information. |
| Local privilege escalation due to insecure folder permissions. The following products are affected: Acronis Cloud Manager (Windows) before build 6.4.25342.354. |

| Suricata is a network IDS, IPS and NSM engine. Starting in version 8.0.0 and prior to version 8.0.3, Suricata can crash with a stack overflow. Version 8.0.3 patches the issue. As a workaround, use default values for `request-body-limit` and `response-body-limit`. |
| By sending crafted files to the firmware update endpoint of Tapo C220 v1 and C520WS v2, the device terminates core system services before verifying authentication or firmware integrity. An unauthenticated attacker can trigger a persistent denial of service, requiring a manual reboot or application initiated restart to restore normal device operation. |
| The HTTP parser of Tapo C220 v1 and C520WS v2 cameras improperly handles requests containing an excessively long URL path. An invalid‑URL error path continues into cleanup code that assumes allocated buffers exist, leading to a crash and service restart. An unauthenticated attacker can force repeated service crashes or device reboots, causing denial of service. |
