| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: fix NULL pointer dereference in mesh_rx_csa_frame()
In mesh_rx_csa_frame(), elems->mesh_chansw_params_ie is dereferenced
at lines 1638 and 1642 without a prior NULL check:
ifmsh->chsw_ttl = elems->mesh_chansw_params_ie->mesh_ttl;
...
pre_value = le16_to_cpu(elems->mesh_chansw_params_ie->mesh_pre_value);
The mesh_matches_local() check above only validates the Mesh ID,
Mesh Configuration, and Supported Rates IEs. It does not verify the
presence of the Mesh Channel Switch Parameters IE (element ID 118).
When a received CSA action frame omits that IE, ieee802_11_parse_elems()
leaves elems->mesh_chansw_params_ie as NULL, and the unconditional
dereference causes a kernel NULL pointer dereference.
A remote mesh peer with an established peer link (PLINK_ESTAB) can
trigger this by sending a crafted SPECTRUM_MGMT/CHL_SWITCH action frame
that includes a matching Mesh ID and Mesh Configuration IE but omits the
Mesh Channel Switch Parameters IE. No authentication beyond the default
open mesh peering is required.
Crash confirmed on kernel 6.17.0-5-generic via mac80211_hwsim:

Fix by adding a NULL check for mesh_chansw_params_ie after
mesh_matches_local() returns, consistent with how other optional IEs
are guarded throughout the mesh code.
The bug has been present since v3.13 (released 2014-01-19). |

accel/amdxdna: Prevent ubuf size overflow
The ubuf size calculation may overflow, resulting in an undersized
allocation and possible memory corruption.
Use check_add_overflow() helpers to validate the size calculation before
allocation. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: libertas: fix use-after-free in lbs_free_adapter()
The lbs_free_adapter() function uses timer_delete() (non-synchronous)
for both command_timer and tx_lockup_timer before the structure is
freed. This is incorrect because timer_delete() does not wait for
any running timer callback to complete.
If a timer callback is executing when lbs_free_adapter() is called,
the callback will access freed memory since lbs_cfg_free() frees the
containing structure immediately after lbs_free_adapter() returns.
Both timer callbacks (lbs_cmd_timeout_handler and lbs_tx_lockup_handler)
access priv->driver_lock, priv->cur_cmd, priv->dev, and other fields,
which would all be use-after-free violations.
Use timer_delete_sync() instead to ensure any running timer callback
has completed before returning.
This bug was introduced in commit 8f641d93c38a ("libertas: detect TX
lockups and reset hardware") where del_timer() was used instead of
del_timer_sync() in the cleanup path. The command_timer has had the
same issue since the driver was first written. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: fix oops due to uninitialised var in smb2_unlink()
If SMB2_open_init() or SMB2_close_init() fails (e.g. reconnect), the
iovs set @rqst will be left uninitialised, hence calling
SMB2_open_free(), SMB2_close_free() or smb2_set_related() on them will
oops.
Fix this by initialising @close_iov and @open_iov before setting them
in @rqst. |

regulator: fp9931: Fix PM runtime reference leak in fp9931_hwmon_read()
In fp9931_hwmon_read(), if regmap_read() failed, the function returned
the error code without calling pm_runtime_put_autosuspend(), causing
a PM reference leak. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drbd: fix null-pointer dereference on local read error
In drbd_request_endio(), READ_COMPLETED_WITH_ERROR is passed to
__req_mod() with a NULL peer_device:
__req_mod(req, what, NULL, &m);
The READ_COMPLETED_WITH_ERROR handler then unconditionally passes this
NULL peer_device to drbd_set_out_of_sync(), which dereferences it,
causing a null-pointer dereference.
Fix this by obtaining the peer_device via first_peer_device(device),
matching how drbd_req_destroy() handles the same situation. |
| Mullvad VPN is a VPN client app for desktop and mobile. When using macOS with versions 2026.1 and below, Mullvad VPN may allow local privilege escalation during installation or upgrade. The installer package executes binaries from /Applications/Mullvad VPN.app without verifying if the bundle is attacker-controlled or that the path is the legitimate Mullvad application. A user in the admin group can pre-place a crafted application bundle at that location and may be able to achieve code execution as root. Since the issue only affected the installer, there is no immediate need for users to update if they are already running an older version. This issue has been fixed in version 2026.2-beta1. |

| `gh` is GitHub’s official command line tool. From 1.6.0 to before 2.92.0, a security vulnerability has been identified in GitHub CLI that could allow terminal escape sequence injection when users view GitHub Actions workflow logs using gh run view --log or gh run view --log-failed. The vulnerability stems from the way GitHub CLI handles raw Actions log output. The gh run view --log and gh run view --log-failed commands stream workflow log lines to stdout or the configured pager without sanitizing terminal control sequences. An attacker who can influence GitHub Actions log content, for example via a PR triggered workflow, can embed escape sequences that are replayed in the user's terminal when they inspect the run. Depending on the victim's terminal emulator, injected sequences could change the window title, manipulate on screen content, or in some terminal emulators (such as screen) potentially execute arbitrary commands. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.92.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: do not free data reservation in fallback from inline due to -ENOSPC
If we fail to create an inline extent due to -ENOSPC, we will attempt to
go through the normal COW path, reserve an extent, create an ordered
extent, etc. However we were always freeing the reserved qgroup data,
which is wrong since we will use data. Fix this by freeing the reserved
qgroup data in __cow_file_range_inline() only if we are not doing the
fallback (ret is <= 0). |
| Tekton Pipelines project provides k8s-style resources for declaring CI/CD-style pipelines. Starting in version 1.0.0 and prior to versions 1.0.2, 1.3.4, 1.6.2, 1.9.3, and 1.11.1, the git resolver's revision parameter is passed directly as a positional argument to git fetch without any validation that it does not begin with a - character. Because git parses flags from mixed positional arguments, an attacker can inject arbitrary git fetch flags such as --upload-pack=<binary>. Combined with the validateRepoURL function explicitly permitting URLs that begin with / (local filesystem paths), a tenant who can submit ResolutionRequest objects can chain these two behaviors to execute an arbitrary binary on the resolver pod. The tekton-pipelines-resolvers ServiceAccount holds cluster-wide get/list/watch on all Secrets, so code execution on the resolver pod enables full cluster-wide secret exfiltration. Versions 1.0.2, 1.3.4, 1.6.2, 1.9.3, and 1.11.1 fix the issue. |

| Tekton Pipelines project provides k8s-style resources for declaring CI/CD-style pipelines. Starting in version 1.0.0 and prior to versions 1.0.2, 1.3.4, 1.6.2, 1.9.3, and 1.11.1, the Tekton Pipelines git resolver in API mode sends the system-configured Git API token to a user-controlled serverURL when the user omits the token parameter. A tenant with TaskRun or PipelineRun create permission can exfiltrate the shared API token (GitHub PAT, GitLab token, etc.) by pointing serverURL to an attacker-controlled endpoint. Versions 1.0.2, 1.3.4, 1.6.2, 1.9.3, and 1.11.1 fix the issue. |
| Langflow is a tool for building and deploying AI-powered agents and workflows. In versions prior to 1.9.0, the POST /api/v1/build_public_tmp/{flow_id}/flow endpoint allows building public flows without requiring authentication. When the optional data parameter is supplied, the endpoint uses attacker-controlled flow data (containing arbitrary Python code in node definitions) instead of the stored flow data from the database. This code is passed to exec() with zero sandboxing, resulting in unauthenticated remote code execution. This is distinct from CVE-2025-3248, which fixed /api/v1/validate/code by adding authentication. The build_public_tmp endpoint is designed to be unauthenticated (for public flows) but incorrectly accepts attacker-supplied flow data containing arbitrary executable code. This issue has been fixed in version 1.9.0. |
| SimpleSAMLphp-casserver is a CAS 1.0 and 2.0 compliant CAS server in the form of a SimpleSAMLphp module. In versions below 6.3.1 and 7.0.0, the logout endpoint accepts a url query parameter to redirect to. casserver treats that url as trusted, and either (depending on configuration) redirects the browser there, or shows a "you've been logged out" page with a link to continue to that url. Impacted configs include 'enable_logout' => true, and 'skip_logout_page' -> true. This issue has been resolved in versions 6.3.1 and 7.0.0. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: act_gate: snapshot parameters with RCU on replace
The gate action can be replaced while the hrtimer callback or dump path is
walking the schedule list.
Convert the parameters to an RCU-protected snapshot and swap updates under
tcf_lock, freeing the previous snapshot via call_rcu(). When REPLACE omits
the entry list, preserve the existing schedule so the effective state is
unchanged. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm: Fix a hmm_range_fault() livelock / starvation problem
If hmm_range_fault() fails a folio_trylock() in do_swap_page,
trying to acquire the lock of a device-private folio for migration,
to ram, the function will spin until it succeeds grabbing the lock.
However, if the process holding the lock is depending on a work
item to be completed, which is scheduled on the same CPU as the
spinning hmm_range_fault(), that work item might be starved and
we end up in a livelock / starvation situation which is never
resolved.
This can happen, for example if the process holding the
device-private folio lock is stuck in
migrate_device_unmap()->lru_add_drain_all()
sinc lru_add_drain_all() requires a short work-item
to be run on all online cpus to complete.
A prerequisite for this to happen is:
a) Both zone device and system memory folios are considered in
migrate_device_unmap(), so that there is a reason to call
lru_add_drain_all() for a system memory folio while a
folio lock is held on a zone device folio.
b) The zone device folio has an initial mapcount > 1 which causes
at least one migration PTE entry insertion to be deferred to
try_to_migrate(), which can happen after the call to
lru_add_drain_all().
c) No or voluntary only preemption.
This all seems pretty unlikely to happen, but indeed is hit by
the "xe_exec_system_allocator" igt test.
Resolve this by waiting for the folio to be unlocked if the
folio_trylock() fails in do_swap_page().
Rename migration_entry_wait_on_locked() to
softleaf_entry_wait_unlock() and update its documentation to
indicate the new use-case.
Future code improvements might consider moving
the lru_add_drain_all() call in migrate_device_unmap() to be
called *after* all pages have migration entries inserted.
That would eliminate also b) above.
