| The Versa Director SD-WAN orchestration platform allows customization of the user interface, including the header, footer, and logo. However, the input provided for these customizations is not properly validated or sanitized, allowing a malicious user to inject and store cross-site scripting (XSS) payloads.
Exploitation Status:
Versa Networks is not aware of any reported instance where this vulnerability was exploited. Proof of concept for this vulnerability has been disclosed by third party security researchers.
Workarounds or Mitigation:
There are no workarounds to disable the GUI option. Versa recommends that Director be upgraded to one of the remediated software versions. |

| The WordPress Automatic Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘autoplay’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.94.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The Versa Director SD-WAN orchestration platform includes functionality to initiate SSH sessions to remote CPEs and the Director shell via Shell-In-A-Box. The underlying Python script, shell-connect.py, is vulnerable to command injection through the user argument. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system.

| The Versa Director SD-WAN orchestration platform includes a Webhook feature for sending notifications to external HTTP endpoints. However, the "Add Webhook" and "Test Webhook" functionalities can be abused by an authenticated user to send crafted HTTP requests to localhost. This can be leveraged to execute commands on behalf of the versa user, who has sudo privileges, potentially leading to privilege escalation or remote code execution.

| The File Manager Pro – Filester plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in all versions up to, and including, 1.8.8. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. Administrators have the ability to extend file manager usage privileges to lower-level users including subscribers, which would make this vulnerability more severe on such sites. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
PCI/IOV: Fix race between SR-IOV enable/disable and hotplug
Commit 05703271c3cd ("PCI/IOV: Add PCI rescan-remove locking when
enabling/disabling SR-IOV") tried to fix a race between the VF removal
inside sriov_del_vfs() and concurrent hot unplug by taking the PCI
rescan/remove lock in sriov_del_vfs(). Similarly the PCI rescan/remove lock
was also taken in sriov_add_vfs() to protect addition of VFs.
This approach however causes deadlock on trying to remove PFs with SR-IOV
enabled because PFs disable SR-IOV during removal and this removal happens
under the PCI rescan/remove lock. So the original fix had to be reverted.
Instead of taking the PCI rescan/remove lock in sriov_add_vfs() and
sriov_del_vfs(), fix the race that occurs with SR-IOV enable and disable vs
hotplug higher up in the callchain by taking the lock in
sriov_numvfs_store() before calling into the driver's sriov_configure()
callback. |

Consequently, *rdlen may be larger than the amount of remaining packet data in the current state of parsing. Values of stack memory locations may be sent over the network in a response. |
