| Improper
Access Control in System Management Mode (SMM) may allow an attacker access to
the SPI flash potentially leading to arbitrary code execution.
|
| A host header injection vulnerability in scheduleR v0.0.18 allows attackers to obtain the password reset token via user interaction with a crafted password reset link. This allows attackers to arbitrarily reset other users' passwords and compromise their accounts. |
| An issue was discovered in the friendlycaptcha_official (aka Integration of Friendly Captcha) extension before 0.1.4 for TYPO3. The extension fails to check the requirement of the captcha field in submitted form data, allowing a remote user to bypass the captcha check. This only affects the captcha integration for the ext:form extension. |
| phonenumber is a library for parsing, formatting and validating international phone numbers. Since 0.3.4, the phonenumber parsing code may panic due to a panic-guarded out-of-bounds access on the phonenumber string. In a typical deployment of rust-phonenumber, this may get triggered by feeding a maliciously crafted phonenumber, e.g. over the network, specifically strings of the form `+dwPAA;phone-context=AA`, where the "number" part potentially parses as a number larger than 2^56. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.3.6. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in eCharge Hardy Barth Salia PLCC up to 2.3.81. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /api.php. The manipulation of the argument setrfidlist results in unrestricted upload. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Audi UTR Dashcam 2.0. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the component Command API. The manipulation leads to improper access controls. The attack needs to be done within the local network. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 2.89 and 2.90 is able to address this issue. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. The vendor was contacted early about these issues and acted very professional. Version 2.89 is fixing this issue for new customers and 2.90 is going to fix it for existing customers. |
| There is an Access Control Vulnerability in some HikCentral Professional versions. This could allow an unauthenticated user to obtain the admin permission. |
| Improper access control for some Edge Orchestrator software before version 24.11.1 for Intel(R) Tiber(TM) Edge Platform may allow an unauthenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via adjacent access. |
| fs.openAsBlob() can bypass the experimental permission model when using the file system read restriction with the `--allow-fs-read` flag in Node.js 20. This flaw arises from a missing check in the `fs.openAsBlob()` API.
Please note that at the time this CVE was issued, the permission model is an experimental feature of Node.js. |
| JHipster before v.8.9.0 allows privilege escalation via a modified authorities parameter. Upon registering in the JHipster portal and logging in as a standard user, the authorities parameter in the response from the api/account endpoint contains the value ROLE_USER. By manipulating the authorities parameter and changing its value to ROLE_ADMIN, the privilege is successfully escalated to an Admin level. This allowed the access to all admin-related functionalities in the application. NOTE: this is disputed by the Supplier because there is no privilege escalation in the context of the JHipster backend (the report only demonstrates that, after using JHipster to generate an application, one can make a non-functional admin screen visible in the front end of that application). |
| An access control vulnerability was discovered in Grafana OSS where an Organization administrator could permanently delete the Server administrator account. This vulnerability exists in the DELETE /api/org/users/ endpoint.
The vulnerability can be exploited when:
1. An Organization administrator exists
2. The Server administrator is either:
- Not part of any organization, or
- Part of the same organization as the Organization administrator
Impact:
- Organization administrators can permanently delete Server administrator accounts
- If the only Server administrator is deleted, the Grafana instance becomes unmanageable
- No super-user permissions remain in the system
- Affects all users, organizations, and teams managed in the instance
The vulnerability is particularly serious as it can lead to a complete loss of administrative control over the Grafana instance. |
| Improper access control in UEFI firmware for some Intel(R) Processors may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| A vulnerability was found in Tsinghua Unigroup Electronic Archives Management System 3.2.210802(62532). It has been classified as problematic. Affected is the function download of the file /Searchnew/Subject/download.html. The manipulation of the argument path leads to information disclosure. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| A vulnerability was determined in academico-sis academico up to d9a9e2636fbf7e5845ee086bcb03ca62faceb6ab. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /edit-photo of the component Profile Picture Handler. This manipulation causes unrestricted upload. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. This product adopts a rolling release strategy to maintain continuous delivery The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| An issue was discovered in Lustre versions 2.13.x, 2.14.x, and 2.15.x before 2.15.4, allows attackers to escalate privileges and obtain sensitive information via Incorrect Access Control. |
| A flaw was found in the Hive ClusterDeployments resource in OpenShift Dedicated. In certain conditions, this issue may allow a developer account on a Hive-enabled cluster to obtain cluster-admin privileges by executing arbitrary commands on the hive/hive-controllers pod. |
| An issue was discovered on FIRSTNUM JC21A-04 devices through 2.01ME/FN. They enable the SSH service by default with the credentials of root/admin. The GUI doesn't offer a way to disable the account. |
| Lavasoft Web Companion (also known as Ad-Aware WebCompanion) versions 8.9.0.1091 through 12.1.3.1037 installs the DCIService.exe service with an unquoted service path vulnerability. An attacker with write access to the file system could potentially execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges by placing a malicious executable in the unquoted path. |
| A Host Header Injection vulnerability exists in the password reset functionality of CraftMyCMS 4.0.2.2. The system uses `$_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']` directly to construct password reset links sent via email. An attacker can manipulate the Host header to send malicious reset links, enabling phishing attacks or account takeover. |
| NATS.io NATS Server before 2.8.2 and Streaming Server before 0.24.6 could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by the failure to enforce negative user permissions in one scenario. By using a queue subscription on the wildcard, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to allow denied subjects. |
