The issue affects module_hash_decode in multiple Kerberos-related modules because account_info_len is calculated from untrusted delimiter positions without upper-bound validation before memcpy copies the data into a fixed-size account_info buffer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
usb: gadget: u_ether: Fix race between gether_disconnect and eth_stop
A race condition between gether_disconnect() and eth_stop() leads to a
NULL pointer dereference. Specifically, if eth_stop() is triggered
concurrently while gether_disconnect() is tearing down the endpoints,
eth_stop() attempts to access the cleared endpoint descriptor, causing
the following NPE:

Because eth_stop() crashes while holding the dev->lock, the thread
running gether_disconnect() fails to acquire the same lock and spins
forever, resulting in a hardlockup:

The root cause is that the clearing of dev->port_usb in
gether_disconnect() is delayed until the end of the function.
Move the clearing of dev->port_usb to the very beginning of
gether_disconnect() while holding dev->lock. This cuts off the link
immediately, ensuring eth_stop() will see dev->port_usb as NULL and
safely bail out. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
sched_ext: Fix is_bpf_migration_disabled() false negative on non-PREEMPT_RCU
Since commit 8e4f0b1ebcf2 ("bpf: use rcu_read_lock_dont_migrate() for
trampoline.c"), the BPF prolog (__bpf_prog_enter) calls migrate_disable()
only when CONFIG_PREEMPT_RCU is enabled, via rcu_read_lock_dont_migrate().
Without CONFIG_PREEMPT_RCU, the prolog never touches migration_disabled,
so migration_disabled == 1 always means the task is truly
migration-disabled regardless of whether it is the current task.
The old unconditional p == current check was a false negative in this
case, potentially allowing a migration-disabled task to be dispatched to
a remote CPU and triggering scx_error in task_can_run_on_remote_rq().
Only apply the p == current disambiguation when CONFIG_PREEMPT_RCU is
enabled, where the ambiguity with the BPF prolog still exists. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
hwmon: (tps53679) Fix array access with zero-length block read
i2c_smbus_read_block_data() can return 0, indicating a zero-length
read. When this happens, tps53679_identify_chip() accesses buf[ret - 1]
which is buf[-1], reading one byte before the buffer on the stack.
Fix by changing the check from "ret < 0" to "ret <= 0", treating a
zero-length read as an error (-EIO), which prevents the out-of-bounds
array access.
Also fix a typo in the adjacent comment: "if present" instead of
duplicate "if". |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
gpio: qixis-fpga: Fix error handling for devm_regmap_init_mmio()
devm_regmap_init_mmio() returns an ERR_PTR() on failure, not NULL.
The original code checked for NULL which would never trigger on error,
potentially leading to an invalid pointer dereference.
Use IS_ERR() and PTR_ERR() to properly handle the error case. |
| Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. Prior to versions 2.11.43, 3.6.14, and 3.7.0-rc.2, there is a high severity authentication bypass vulnerability in Traefik's ForwardAuth and snippet-based authentication middleware. Traefik's forwarded-header sanitization logic targets only canonical header names (e.g., X-Forwarded-Proto) and does not strip or normalize alias variants that use underscores instead of dashes (e.g., X_Forwarded_Proto). These unsanitized alias headers are forwarded intact to the authentication backend. When the backend normalizes underscore and dash header forms equivalently, an attacker can inject spoofed trust context — such as a trusted scheme or host — through the alias headers and bypass authentication on protected routes without valid credentials. This issue has been patched in versions 2.11.43, 3.6.14, and 3.7.0-rc.2. |
| Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. Prior to versions 2.11.43, 3.6.14, and 3.7.0-rc.2, there is a high severity authentication bypass vulnerability in Traefik's StripPrefixRegex middleware when used in combination with ForwardAuth, BasicAuth, or DigestAuth. The middleware matches the regex against the decoded URL path but uses the resulting byte length to slice the percent-encoded raw path. When a dot (or multiple dots) appears in the prefix portion of the URL, the raw path after stripping becomes a dot-segment (e.g. /./admin/secret). ForwardAuth receives this dot-segment path in X-Forwarded-Uri, which does not match the protected path patterns and therefore allows the request through. The backend then normalizes the dot-segment to the real path per RFC 3986 and serves the protected content An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this against any backend that performs dot-segment normalization. This issue has been patched in versions 2.11.43, 3.6.14, and 3.7.0-rc.2. |
| Incomplete validation of AI rich response messages for Instagram Reels in WhatsApp for iOS v2.25.8.0 to v2.26.15.72 and WhatsApp for Android v2.25.8.0 to v2.26.7.10 could have allowed a user to trigger processing of media content from an arbitrary URL on another user’s device, including triggering OS-controlled custom URL scheme handlers. We have not seen evidence of exploitation in the wild. |

| The authentication endpoint accepts user-supplied input without enforcing expected validation constraints, leading to a lack of proper output encoding. This allows for the injection of malicious JavaScript payloads, enabling reflected cross-site scripting.
An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to redirect the user's browser to a malicious website, modify the user interface of the web page, retrieve information from the browser, or cause other harmful actions. However, due to the protection of session-related cookies with the httpOnly flag, session hijacking is not possible. |

| Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. Prior to versions 2.11.43, 3.6.14, and 3.7.0-rc.2, there is a potential vulnerability in Traefik's Kubernetes CRD provider cross-namespace isolation enforcement. When providers.kubernetesCRD.allowCrossNamespace=false, Traefik correctly rejects direct cross-namespace middleware references from IngressRoute objects, but fails to apply the same restriction to middleware references nested inside a Chain middleware's spec.chain.middlewares[]. An actor with permission to create or update Traefik CRDs in their own namespace can exploit this to cause Traefik to resolve and apply middleware objects from another namespace, bypassing the documented isolation boundary. This issue has been patched in versions 2.11.43, 3.6.14, and 3.7.0-rc.2. |

| Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. Prior to versions 2.11.43, 3.6.14, and 3.7.0-rc.2, there is a timing side-channel vulnerability in Traefik's BasicAuth middleware that allows an attacker to enumerate valid usernames through response-time differences. The variable intended to hold a constant-time fallback secret always resolves to an empty string, causing the constant-time comparison to short-circuit in microseconds rather than performing a full bcrypt evaluation. This restores the original timing oracle and makes it possible to distinguish existing users from non-existing ones by measuring authentication response times. This issue has been patched in versions 2.11.43, 3.6.14, and 3.7.0-rc.2. |
