CVE-2026-23468 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-07 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: Limit BO list entry count to prevent resource exhaustion Userspace can pass an arbitrary number of BO list entries via the bo_number field. Although the previous multiplication overflow check prevents out-of-bounds allocation, a large number of entries could still cause excessive memory allocation (up to potentially gigabytes) and unnecessarily long list processing times. Introduce a hard limit of 128k entries per BO list, which is more than sufficient for any realistic use case (e.g., a single list containing all buffers in a large scene). This prevents memory exhaustion attacks and ensures predictable performance. Return -EINVAL if the requested entry count exceeds the limit (cherry picked from commit 688b87d39e0aa8135105b40dc167d74b5ada5332)
CVE-2025-38584 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-07 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: padata: Fix pd UAF once and for all There is a race condition/UAF in padata_reorder that goes back to the initial commit. A reference count is taken at the start of the process in padata_do_parallel, and released at the end in padata_serial_worker. This reference count is (and only is) required for padata_replace to function correctly. If padata_replace is never called then there is no issue. In the function padata_reorder which serves as the core of padata, as soon as padata is added to queue->serial.list, and the associated spin lock released, that padata may be processed and the reference count on pd would go away. Fix this by getting the next padata before the squeue->serial lock is released. In order to make this possible, simplify padata_reorder by only calling it once the next padata arrives.
CVE-2026-43156 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-07 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: pegasus: enable basic endpoint checking pegasus_probe() fills URBs with hardcoded endpoint pipes without verifying the endpoint descriptors: - usb_rcvbulkpipe(dev, 1) for RX data - usb_sndbulkpipe(dev, 2) for TX data - usb_rcvintpipe(dev, 3) for status interrupts A malformed USB device can present these endpoints with transfer types that differ from what the driver assumes. Add a pegasus_usb_ep enum for endpoint numbers, replacing magic constants throughout. Add usb_check_bulk_endpoints() and usb_check_int_endpoints() calls before any resource allocation to verify endpoint types before use, rejecting devices with mismatched descriptors at probe time, and avoid triggering assertion. Similar fix to - commit 90b7f2961798 ("net: usb: rtl8150: enable basic endpoint checking") - commit 9e7021d2aeae ("net: usb: catc: enable basic endpoint checking")
CVE-2026-43157 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-07 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: octeontx2-af: CGX: fix bitmap leaks The RX/TX flow-control bitmaps (rx_fc_pfvf_bmap and tx_fc_pfvf_bmap) are allocated by cgx_lmac_init() but never freed in cgx_lmac_exit(). Unbinding and rebinding the driver therefore triggers kmemleak: unreferenced object (size 16): backtrace: rvu_alloc_bitmap cgx_probe Free both bitmaps during teardown.

CVE-2026-43082 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-07 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: txgbe: leave space for null terminators on property_entry Lists of struct property_entry are supposed to be terminated with an empty property, this driver currently seems to be allocating exactly the amount of entry used. Change the struct definition to leave an extra element for all property_entry.
CVE-2026-43086 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-07 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: fix NULL deref in ip_vs_add_service error path When ip_vs_bind_scheduler() succeeds in ip_vs_add_service(), the local variable sched is set to NULL. If ip_vs_start_estimator() subsequently fails, the out_err cleanup calls ip_vs_unbind_scheduler(svc, sched) with sched == NULL. ip_vs_unbind_scheduler() passes the cur_sched NULL check (because svc->scheduler was set by the successful bind) but then dereferences the NULL sched parameter at sched->done_service, causing a kernel panic at offset 0x30 from NULL. Oops: general protection fault, [..] [#1] PREEMPT SMP KASAN NOPTI KASAN: null-ptr-deref in range [0x0000000000000030-0x0000000000000037] RIP: 0010:ip_vs_unbind_scheduler (net/netfilter/ipvs/ip_vs_sched.c:69) Call Trace: <TASK> ip_vs_add_service.isra.0 (net/netfilter/ipvs/ip_vs_ctl.c:1500) do_ip_vs_set_ctl (net/netfilter/ipvs/ip_vs_ctl.c:2809) nf_setsockopt (net/netfilter/nf_sockopt.c:102) [..] Fix by simply not clearing the local sched variable after a successful bind. ip_vs_unbind_scheduler() already detects whether a scheduler is installed via svc->scheduler, and keeping sched non-NULL ensures the error path passes the correct pointer to both ip_vs_unbind_scheduler() and ip_vs_scheduler_put(). While the bug is older, the problem popups in more recent kernels (6.2), when the new error path is taken after the ip_vs_start_estimator() call.
CVE-2026-43089 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-07 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm_user: fix info leak in build_mapping() struct xfrm_usersa_id has a one-byte padding hole after the proto field, which ends up never getting set to zero before copying out to userspace. Fix that up by zeroing out the whole structure before setting individual variables.
CVE-2026-43096 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-07 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mshv: Fix infinite fault loop on permission-denied GPA intercepts Prevent infinite fault loops when guests access memory regions without proper permissions. Currently, mshv_handle_gpa_intercept() attempts to remap pages for all faults on movable memory regions, regardless of whether the access type is permitted. When a guest writes to a read-only region, the remap succeeds but the region remains read-only, causing immediate re-fault and spinning the vCPU indefinitely. Validate intercept access type against region permissions before attempting remaps. Reject writes to non-writable regions and executes to non-executable regions early, returning false to let the VMM handle the intercept appropriately. This also closes a potential DoS vector where malicious guests could intentionally trigger these fault loops to consume host resources.
CVE-2026-43149 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-07 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: wan/fsl_ucc_hdlc: Fix dma_free_coherent() in uhdlc_memclean() The priv->rx_buffer and priv->tx_buffer are alloc'd together as contiguous buffers in uhdlc_init() but freed as two buffers in uhdlc_memclean(). Change the cleanup to only call dma_free_coherent() once on the whole buffer.
