CVSS v3.1 |
| MesonLSP is an unofficial, unendorsed language server for meson written in C++. A vulnerability in versions prior to 4.1.4 allows overwriting arbitrary files if the attacker can make the victim either run the language server within a specific crafted project or `mesonlsp --full`. Version 4.1.4 contains a patch for this issue. As a workaround, avoid running `mesonlsp --full` and set the language server option `others.neverDownloadAutomatically` to `true`.

| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in GE Vernova WorkstationST on Windows (EGD Configuration Server modules) allows Path Traversal. This issue affects WorkstationST: WorkstationST V07.10.10C and earlier. |
| When extracting a tar archive pip may not check symbolic links point into the extraction directory if the tarfile module doesn't implement PEP 706.
Note that upgrading pip to a "fixed" version for this vulnerability doesn't fix all known vulnerabilities that are remediated by using a Python version that implements PEP 706.
Note that this is a vulnerability in pip's fallback implementation of tar extraction for Python versions that don't implement PEP 706
and therefore are not secure to all vulnerabilities in the Python 'tarfile' module. If you're using a Python version that implements PEP 706
then pip doesn't use the "vulnerable" fallback code.
Mitigations include upgrading to a version of pip that includes the fix, upgrading to a Python version that implements PEP 706 (Python >=3.9.17, >=3.10.12, >=3.11.4, or >=3.12),
applying the linked patch, or inspecting source distributions (sdists) before installation as is already a best-practice. |
| Path traversal vulnerability exists in RICOH Streamline NX V3 PC Client versions 3.5.0 to 3.242.0. If this vulnerability is exploited, arbitrary code may be executed on the PC where the product is running by tampering with specific files used on the product. |
| Mockoon provides way to design and run mock APIs. Prior to version 9.2.0, a mock API configuration for static file serving follows the same approach presented in the documentation page, where the server filename is generated via templating features from user input is vulnerable to Path Traversal and LFI, allowing an attacker to get any file in the mock server filesystem.
The issue may be particularly relevant in cloud hosted server instances. Version 9.2.0 fixes the issue. |
| QuickShare File Server 1.2.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability in its FTP service due to improper sanitation of user-supplied file paths. Authenticated users can exploit this flaw by submitting crafted sequences to access or write files outside the intended virtual directory. When the "Writable" option is enabled (default during account creation), this allows attackers to upload arbitrary files to privileged locations such as system32, enabling remote code execution via MOF injection or executable placement. |
| jj, or Jujutsu, is a Git-compatible VCS written in rust. In affected versions specially crafted Git repositories can cause `jj` to write files outside the clone. This issue has been addressed in version 0.23.0. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should avoid cloning repos from unknown sources. |
| Multiple functions use archives without properly validating the filenames therein, rendering the application vulnerable to path traversal via 'zip slip' attacks.
An administrator able to provide tampered archives to be processed by the affected versions of Arc may be able to have arbitrary files extracted to arbitrary filesystem locations. Leveraging this issue, an attacker may be able to overwrite arbitrary files on the target filesystem and cause critical impacts on the system (e.g., arbitrary command execution on the victim’s machine). |
| Pyrofork is a modern, asynchronous MTProto API framework. Versions 2.3.68 and earlier do not properly sanitize filenames received from Telegram messages in the download_media method before using them in file path construction. When downloading media, if the user does not specify a custom filename (which is the common/default usage), the method falls back to using the file_name attribute from the media object. The attribute originates from Telegram's DocumentAttributeFilename and is controlled by the message sender. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.69. |
| Directory traversal vulnerability exists in A.K.I Software's PMailServer/PMailServer2 products' CGIs included in Internal Simple Webserver. If this vulnerability is exploited, a remote attacker may access arbitrary files outside DocumentRoot. |
| An authenticated Arbitrary File Deletion vulnerability enables an attacker to delete critical files.
This issue affects Avid NEXIS E-series: before 2025.5.1; Avid NEXIS F-series: before 2025.5.1; Avid NEXIS PRO+: before 2025.5.1; System Director Appliance (SDA+): before 2025.5.1. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in PluginsWare Advanced Classifieds & Directory Pro allows Path Traversal. This issue affects Advanced Classifieds & Directory Pro: from n/a through 3.1.3. |
| Sockso Music Host Server versions <= 1.5 are vulnerable to a path traversal flaw that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to read arbitrary files from the server’s filesystem. The vulnerability exists in the HTTP interface on port 4444, where the endpoint /file/ fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. Attackers can traverse directories and access sensitive files outside the intended web root. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in ORICO CD3510 1.9.12. This affects an unknown function of the component File Upload. The manipulation leads to path traversal. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Copier library and CLI app for rendering project templates. From 7.1.0 to before 9.9.1, Copier suggests that it's safe to generate a project from a safe template, i.e. one that doesn't use unsafe features like custom Jinja extensions which would require passing the --UNSAFE,--trust flag. As it turns out, a safe template can currently write files outside the destination path where a project shall be generated or updated. This is possible when rendering a generated directory structure whose rendered path is either a relative parent path or an absolute path. Constructing such paths is possible using Copier's builtin pathjoin Jinja filter and its builtin _copier_conf.sep variable, which is the platform-native path separator. This way, a malicious template author can create a template that overwrites arbitrary files (according to the user's write permissions), e.g., to cause havoc. This vulnerability is fixed in 9.9.1. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Vova Anokhin Shortcodes Ultimate allows Absolute Path Traversal. This issue affects Shortcodes Ultimate: from n/a through 5.12.6. |
| A vulnerability has been found in JFinal CMS up to 5.2.4 and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is the function engine.getTemplate of the file /readTemplate. The manipulation of the argument template leads to path traversal. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment. The vendor explains that this is not a bug but a feature. |
| A path traversal vulnerability exists in the Java version of CData Sync < 23.4.8843 when running using the embedded Jetty server, which could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information and perform limited actions. |
| Spring Framework MVC applications can be vulnerable to a “Path Traversal Vulnerability” when deployed on a non-compliant Servlet container.
An application can be vulnerable when all the following are true:
* the application is deployed as a WAR or with an embedded Servlet container
* the Servlet container does not reject suspicious sequences https://jakarta.ee/specifications/servlet/6.1/jakarta-servlet-spec-6.1.html#uri-path-canonicalization
* the application serves static resources https://docs.spring.io/spring-framework/reference/web/webmvc/mvc-config/static-resources.html#page-title with Spring resource handling
We have verified that applications deployed on Apache Tomcat or Eclipse Jetty are not vulnerable, as long as default security features are not disabled in the configuration. Because we cannot check exploits against all Servlet containers and configuration variants, we strongly recommend upgrading your application. |
| A vulnerability was found in 1541492390c yougou-mall up to 0a771fa817c924efe52c8fe0a9a6658eee675f9f. This impacts the function upload/delete of the file src/main/java/per/ccm/ygmall/extra/controller/ResourceController.java. Performing manipulation results in path traversal. This product is using a rolling release to provide continious delivery. Therefore, no version details for affected nor updated releases are available. |
