| CVE-2020-3195 | 1 Cisco | 26 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Asa 5505, Asa 5505 Firmware and 23 more | 2026-08-11 | 7.5 High |
| A vulnerability in the Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) implementation in Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a memory leak on an affected device. The vulnerability is due to incorrect processing of certain OSPF packets. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a series of crafted OSPF packets to be processed by an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to continuously consume memory on an affected device and eventually cause it to reload, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. | ||||
| CVE-2020-3196 | 1 Cisco | 26 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Asa 5505, Asa 5505 Firmware and 23 more | 2026-08-11 | 8.6 High |
| A vulnerability in the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)/Transport Layer Security (TLS) handler of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to exhaust memory resources on the affected device, leading to a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to improper resource management for inbound SSL/TLS connections. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by establishing multiple SSL/TLS connections with specific conditions to the affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to exhaust the memory on the affected device, causing the device to stop accepting new SSL/TLS connections and resulting in a DoS condition for services on the device that process SSL/TLS traffic. Manual intervention is required to recover an affected device. | ||||
| CVE-2022-20685 | 1 Cisco | 3 Cyber Vision, Secure Firewall Threat Defense, Unified Threat Defense Snort Intrusion Prevention System Engine | 2026-08-11 | 7.5 High |
| A vulnerability in the Modbus preprocessor of the Snort detection engine could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to an integer overflow while processing Modbus traffic. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted Modbus traffic through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the Snort process to hang, causing traffic inspection to stop.Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2020-3254 | 1 Cisco | 26 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Asa 5505, Asa 5505 Firmware and 23 more | 2026-08-11 | 7.5 High |
| Multiple vulnerabilities in the Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) inspection feature of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. The vulnerabilities are due to inefficient memory management. An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by sending crafted MGCP packets through an affected device. An exploit could allow the attacker to cause memory exhaustion resulting in a restart of an affected device, causing a DoS condition for traffic traversing the device. | ||||
| CVE-2023-20086 | 1 Cisco | 2 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Secure Firewall Threat Defense | 2026-08-11 | 8.6 High |
| A vulnerability in ICMPv6 processing of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition. This vulnerability is due to improper processing of ICMPv6 messages. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted ICMPv6 messages to a targeted Cisco ASA or FTD system with IPv6 enabled. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition. | ||||
| CVE-2026-20026 | 1 Cisco | 3 Secure Firewall Threat Defense, Snort, Utd Snort Ips Engine Software | 2026-04-18 | 5.8 Medium |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the processing of DCE/RPC requests that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to leak sensitive information or to restart, resulting in an interruption of packet inspection. This vulnerability is due to an error in buffer handling logic when processing DCE/RPC requests, which can result in a buffer use-after-free read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a large number of DCE/RPC requests through an established connection that is inspected by Snort 3. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to unexpectedly restart the Snort 3 Detection Engine, which could cause a denial of service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-20027 | 1 Cisco | 3 Secure Firewall Threat Defense, Snort, Utd Snort Ips Engine Software | 2026-04-18 | 5.3 Medium |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the processing of DCE/RPC requests that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to leak sensitive information or to restart, resulting in an interruption of packet inspection. This vulnerability is due to an error in buffer handling logic when processing DCE/RPC requests, which can result in a buffer out-of-bounds read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a large number of DCE/RPC requests through an established connection that is inspected by Snort 3. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain sensitive information in the Snort 3 data stream. | ||||
| CVE-2026-20063 | 1 Cisco | 1 Secure Firewall Threat Defense | 2026-04-17 | 6 Medium |
| A vulnerability in the CLI of Cisco Secure FTD Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system as root. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of user-supplied command arguments. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting crafted input for a specific CLI command. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute commands on the underlying operating system as root. | ||||
| CVE-2026-20018 | 1 Cisco | 2 Secure Firewall Management Center, Secure Firewall Threat Defense | 2026-04-16 | 5.9 Medium |
| A vulnerability in the sftunnel functionality of Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center (FMC) Software and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with administrative privileges to write arbitrary files as root on the underlying operating system. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of the directory path during file synchronization. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by crafting a directory path outside of the expected file location. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to create or replace any file on the underlying operating system. | ||||
| CVE-2025-20360 | 1 Cisco | 3 Cyber Vision, Secure Firewall Threat Defense, Utd Snort Ips Engine Software | 2026-04-15 | 5.8 Medium |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 HTTP Decoder that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart. This vulnerability is due to a lack of complete error checking when the MIME fields of the HTTP header are parsed. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP packets through an established connection to be parsed by Snort 3. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition when the Snort 3 Detection Engine unexpectedly restarts. | ||||
