CVE-2026-43214 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Add SRCU protection for reading PDPTRs in __get_sregs2() Add SRCU read-side protection when reading PDPTR registers in __get_sregs2(). Reading PDPTRs may trigger access to guest memory: kvm_pdptr_read() -> svm_cache_reg() -> load_pdptrs() -> kvm_vcpu_read_guest_page() -> kvm_vcpu_gfn_to_memslot() kvm_vcpu_gfn_to_memslot() dereferences memslots via __kvm_memslots(), which uses srcu_dereference_check() and requires either kvm->srcu or kvm->slots_lock to be held. CVE-2026-43215 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cifs: Fix locking usage for tcon fields We used to use the cifs_tcp_ses_lock to protect a lot of objects that are not just the server, ses or tcon lists. We later introduced srv_lock, ses_lock and tc_lock to protect fields within the corresponding structs. This was done to provide a more granular protection and avoid unnecessary serialization. There were still a couple of uses of cifs_tcp_ses_lock to provide tcon fields. In this patch, I've replaced them with tc_lock.
CVE-2023-53184 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64/sme: Set new vector length before reallocating As part of fixing the allocation of the buffer for SVE state when changing SME vector length we introduced an immediate reallocation of the SVE state, this is also done when changing the SVE vector length for consistency. Unfortunately this reallocation is done prior to writing the new vector length to the task struct, meaning the allocation is done with the old vector length and can lead to memory corruption due to an undersized buffer being used. Move the update of the vector length before the allocation to ensure that the new vector length is taken into account. For some reason this isn't triggering any problems when running tests on the arm64 fixes branch (even after repeated tries) but is triggering issues very often after merge into mainline.
CVE-2023-53172 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fsverity: reject FS_IOC_ENABLE_VERITY on mode 3 fds Commit 56124d6c87fd ("fsverity: support enabling with tree block size < PAGE_SIZE") changed FS_IOC_ENABLE_VERITY to use __kernel_read() to read the file's data, instead of direct pagecache accesses. An unintended consequence of this is that the 'WARN_ON_ONCE(!(file->f_mode & FMODE_READ))' in __kernel_read() became reachable by fuzz tests. This happens if FS_IOC_ENABLE_VERITY is called on a fd opened with access mode 3, which means "ioctl access only". Arguably, FS_IOC_ENABLE_VERITY should work on ioctl-only fds. But ioctl-only fds are a weird Linux extension that is rarely used and that few people even know about. (The documentation for FS_IOC_ENABLE_VERITY even specifically says it requires O_RDONLY.) It's probably not worthwhile to make the ioctl internally open a new fd just to handle this case. Thus, just reject the ioctl on such fds for now.
CVE-2026-42376 2 D-link, Dlink 3 Dir-456u Firmware, Dir-456u, Dir-456u Firmware 2026-05-11 9.8 Critical
D-Link DIR-456U Hardware Revision A1 (End-of-Life, EOL) contains a hardcoded telnet backdoor. The device starts a telnet daemon at boot via /etc/init0.d/S80telnetd.sh with the username "Alphanetworks" and the static password "whdrv01_dlob_dir456U" read from /etc/config/image_sign. The custom telnetd binary accepts a -u user:password flag, and the custom login binary uses strcmp() to validate credentials. Successful authentication grants an unauthenticated attacker on the local network a root shell with full administrative control. The device has reached End-of-Life (EOL) and will not receive patches.
CVE-2023-52904 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Fix possible NULL pointer dereference in snd_usb_pcm_has_fixed_rate() The subs function argument may be NULL, so do not use it before the NULL check.
CVE-2023-52895 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/poll: don't reissue in case of poll race on multishot request A previous commit fixed a poll race that can occur, but it's only applicable for multishot requests. For a multishot request, we can safely ignore a spurious wakeup, as we never leave the waitqueue to begin with. A blunt reissue of a multishot armed request can cause us to leak a buffer, if they are ring provided. While this seems like a bug in itself, it's not really defined behavior to reissue a multishot request directly. It's less efficient to do so as well, and not required to rearm anything like it is for singleshot poll requests.
CVE-2023-52878 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-05-11 4.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: dev: can_put_echo_skb(): don't crash kernel if can_priv::echo_skb is accessed out of bounds If the "struct can_priv::echoo_skb" is accessed out of bounds, this would cause a kernel crash. Instead, issue a meaningful warning message and return with an error.
CVE-2023-52847 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-05-11 5.2 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: bttv: fix use after free error due to btv->timeout timer There may be some a race condition between timer function bttv_irq_timeout and bttv_remove. The timer is setup in probe and there is no timer_delete operation in remove function. When it hit kfree btv, the function might still be invoked, which will cause use after free bug. This bug is found by static analysis, it may be false positive. Fix it by adding del_timer_sync invoking to the remove function. cpu0 cpu1 bttv_probe ->timer_setup ->bttv_set_dma ->mod_timer; bttv_remove ->kfree(btv); ->bttv_irq_timeout ->USE btv

CVE-2026-36734 2026-05-11 N/A
EDIMAX BR-6428nS V3 1.15 is vulnerable to Command Injection. An authenticated attacker with access to the network can submit crafted input to the WLAN configuration functionality. Due to insufficient input validation, the attacker is able to execute arbitrary system commands on the device.
CVE-2023-52610 2 Linux, Redhat 6 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 3 more 2026-05-11 6.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_ct: fix skb leak and crash on ooo frags act_ct adds skb->users before defragmentation. If frags arrive in order, the last frag's reference is reset in: inet_frag_reasm_prepare skb_morph which is not straightforward. However when frags arrive out of order, nobody unref the last frag, and all frags are leaked. The situation is even worse, as initiating packet capture can lead to a crash[0] when skb has been cloned and shared at the same time. Fix the issue by removing skb_get() before defragmentation. act_ct returns TC_ACT_CONSUMED when defrag failed or in progress. CVE-2026-42857 1 Openedx 1 Openedx-platform 2026-05-11 4.6 Medium
Open edX Platform enables the authoring and delivery of online learning at any scale. The HTML sanitizer clean_thread_html_body() used for discussion notification emails fails to remove <style> tags from user-generated discussion post content. This content is rendered with Django's |safe template filter in email notification templates, allowing any enrolled student to inject arbitrary CSS into email notifications sent to other users. This enables email tracking (IP address disclosure), content spoofing, and phishing attacks. This vulnerability is fixed with commit cddc25cd791bb78f76833896e4778f668861df12.
CVE-2026-42859 1 Any1 1 Neatvnc 2026-05-11 N/A
Neat VNC is a VNC server library. Prior to 0.9.6, a pre-authentication stack buffer overflow exists in neatvnc in the RSA-AES security type handler. An unauthenticated remote attacker who can reach the VNC listening socket can send a crafted security type 5 (RSA-AES) or security type 129 (RSA-AES-256) handshake with an oversized client RSA public key, causing rsa_aes_send_challenge in src/auth/rsa-aes.c to overflow a 1024-byte on-stack buffer when encrypting the server challenge. This results in at least a denial of service via server crash. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.6.
CVE-2026-42865 2026-05-11 N/A
Inbox Zero is an AI personal assistant for email. Prior to 2.29.3, the cleaner email stream endpoint used a shared Redis subscription listener, which could deliver thread events for one authenticated account to another authenticated account using the cleaner feature at the same time. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.29.3.
