CVSS v3.1 |
| JVC VN-T IP-camera models firmware versions up to 2016-08-22 (confirmed on the VN-T216VPRU model) contain a directory traversal vulnerability in the checkcgi endpoint that accepts a user-controlled file parameter. An unauthenticated remote attacker can leverage this vulnerability to read arbitrary files on the device. |
| auth0-PHP is an SDK for Auth0 Authentication and Management APIs. In versions 3.3.0 through 8.16.0, the Bulk User Import endpoint in applications built with the SDK does not validate the file-path wrapper or value. Without proper validation, affected applications may accept arbitrary file paths or URLs. The vulnerability affects any application that either directly uses the Auth0-PHP SDK (versions 3.3.0–8.16.0) or indirectly relies on those versions through the Auth0/symfony, Auth0/laravel-auth0, or Auth0/wordpress SDKs. This issue is fixed in version 8.17.0. |
| There are multiple ways in
LCDS LAquis SCADA for an attacker to access locations outside of their own directory. |
| MPXJ is an open source library to read and write project plans from a variety of file formats and databases. The patch for the historical vulnerability CVE-2020-35460 in MPXJ is incomplete as there is still a possibility that a malicious path could be constructed which would not be picked up by the original fix and allow files to be written to arbitrary locations. The issue is addressed in MPXJ version 13.5.1. |
| Mitel OpenScape Accounting Management through V5 R1.1.0 could allow an authenticated attacker with administrative privileges to conduct a path traversal attack due to insufficient sanitization of user input. A successful exploit could allow an attacker to upload arbitrary files and execute unauthorized commands. |
| The Ultimate Video Player WordPress & WooCommerce Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 10.0 via the content/downloader.php file. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. |
| The Post Slides WordPress plugin through 1.0.1 does not validate some shortcode attributes before using them to generate paths passed to include function/s, allowing any authenticated users such as with contributor or higher roles to perform LFI attacks |
| The game extension engine of versions 1.2.7.0 and earlier exposes some components, and attackers can construct parameters to perform path traversal attacks, which can overwrite local specific files |
| An improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory (Path Traversal) vulnerability in SonicWall Email Security Appliance could allow a remote attacker with administrative privileges to conduct a directory traversal attack and delete arbitrary files from the appliance file system. |
| Sensitive information in resource not removed before reuse in some Intel(R) TDX Seamldr module software before version 1.5.02.00 may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Web-Settler Landing Page Builder – Free Landing Page Templates allows Path Traversal. This issue affects Landing Page Builder – Free Landing Page Templates: from n/a through 3.1.9.9. |
| Remote Command program allows an attacker to get Remote Code Execution. This vulnerability can be executed in combination with other vulnerabilities and difficult to execute alone. So, the CVSS score for this vulnerability alone is lower than the score listed in the "Base Score" of this vulnerability. | An issue in EnvisionWare Computer Access & Reservation Control SelfCheck v1.0 (fixed in OneStop 3.2.0.27184 Hotfix May 2024) allows unauthenticated attackers on the same network to perform a directory traversal. |
| The keras.utils.get_file API in Keras, when used with the extract=True option for tar archives, is vulnerable to a path traversal attack. The utility uses Python's tarfile.extractall function without the filter="data" feature. A remote attacker can craft a malicious tar archive containing special symlinks, which, when extracted, allows them to write arbitrary files to any location on the filesystem outside of the intended destination folder. This vulnerability is linked to the underlying Python tarfile weakness, identified as CVE-2025-4517. Note that upgrading Python to one of the versions that fix CVE-2025-4517 (e.g. Python 3.13.4) is not enough. One additionally needs to upgrade Keras to a version with the fix (Keras 3.12). |
| PacsOne Server version 6.6.2 (prior versions are likely affected) contains a directory traversal vulnerability within the web-based DICOM viewer component. Successful exploitation allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to read arbitrary files via the 'nocache.php' endpoint with a crafted 'path' parameter. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-02-02 UTC. |
| A Path Traversal vulnerability exists in the `/wipe_database` endpoint of parisneo/lollms version v12, allowing an attacker to delete any directory on the system. The vulnerability arises from improper validation of the `key` parameter, which is used to construct file paths. An attacker can exploit this by sending a specially crafted HTTP request to delete arbitrary directories. |
| File Manager in Syncfusion Essential Studio for ASP.NET MVC before 27.1.55 has a traversal issue that is related to the request parameter, aka I644734. |
| Dumb Drop is a file upload application. Users with permission to upload to the service are able to exploit a path traversal vulnerability to overwrite arbitrary system files. As the container runs as root by default, there is no limit to what can be overwritten. With this, it's possible to inject malicious payloads into files ran on schedule or upon certain service actions. As the service is not required to run with authentication enabled, this may permit wholly unprivileged users root access. Otherwise, anybody with a PIN. |
