CVSS v3.1 |
| Netgate pfSense CE Suricata Path Traversal Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to create arbitrary files on affected installations of Netgate pfSense. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the Suricata package. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to create files in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-28085. |
| python-libarchive through 4.2.1 allows directory traversal (to create files) in extract in zip.py for ZipFile.extractall and ZipFile.extract. |
| This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to read an arbitrary file by changing a filepath parameter into an internal system path. |
| Input validation vulnerability in Qualifio's Wheel of Fortune. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to modify a single email to contain upper and lower case characters in order to access the application and win prizes as many times as wanted. |
| Dosage is a comic strip downloader and archiver. When downloading comic images in versions 3.1 and below, Dosage constructs target file names from different aspects of the remote comic (page URL, image URL, page content, etc.). While the basename is properly stripped of directory-traversing characters, the file extension is taken from the HTTP Content-Type header. This allows a remote attacker (or a Man-in-the-Middle, if the comic is served over HTTP) to write arbitrary files outside the target directory (if additional conditions are met). This issue is fixed in version 3.2. |
| A path traversal vulnerability exists in the Dahua Smart Park Integrated Management Platform (also referred to as the Dahua Smart Campus Integrated Management Platform), affecting the SOAP-based GIS bitmap upload interface. The flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to upload arbitrary files to the server via crafted SOAP requests, including executable JSP payloads. Successful exploitation may lead to remote code execution (RCE) and full compromise of the affected system. The vulnerability is presumed to affect builds released prior to September 2023 and is said to be remediated in newer versions of the product, though the exact affected range remains undefined. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2024-02-15 UTC. |
| The LUNA RADIO PLAYER plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 6.24.01.24 via the js/fallback.php file. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. |
| : Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in TAGFREE X-Free Uploader XFU allows Path Traversal. This issue affects X-Free Uploader: from 1.0.1.0084 before 1.0.1.0085, from 2.0.1.0034 before 2.0.1.0035. |
| A path traversal vulnerability has been reported to affect VioStor. If a remote attacker gains an administrator account, they can then exploit the vulnerability to read the contents of unexpected files or system data.
We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version:
VioStor 5.1.6 build 20250621 and later |
| Path traversal may lead to arbitrary file download. The score without
least privilege principle violation is as calculated below. In
combination with other issues it may facilitate further compromise of
the device. Remediation in Version 6.8.0, release date: 01-Mar-25. |
| Insufficient path validation in CODESYS Control allows low privileged attackers with physical access to gain full filesystem access. |
| Directory Traversal vulnerability in Devan-Kerman ARRP v.0.8.1 and before allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the dumpDirect in RuntimeResourcePackImpl component. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in OceanWP allows PHP Local File Inclusion. This issue affects OceanWP: from n/a through 3.4.1. |
| Dell Avamar, versions prior to 19.12 with patch 338905, contains an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in the Security. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to information disclosure. |
| A path traversal vulnerability has been reported to affect several product versions. If a local attacker gains a user account, they can then exploit the vulnerability to read the contents of unexpected files or system data.
We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following versions:
Qfinder Pro Mac 7.13.0 and later
Qsync for Mac 5.1.5 and later
QVPN Device Client for Mac 2.2.8 and later |
| Sending a crafted SOAP "provision" operation message archive field within the Mobile Network Operator (MNO) internal Radio Access Network (RAN) management network can cause path traversal issue in Nokia Single RAN baseband software with versions earlier than release 24R1-SR 1.0 MP. This issue has been corrected to release 24R1-SR 1.0 MP and later.
Beginning with release 24R1-SR 1.0 MP, the OAM service software utilizes libarchive APIs with security options enabled, effectively mitigating the reported path traversal issue. |
| Multiple functions use archives without properly validating the filenames therein, rendering the application vulnerable to path traversal via 'zip slip' attacks.
An administrator able to provide tampered archives to be processed by the affected versions of Arc may be able to have arbitrary files extracted to arbitrary filesystem locations. Leveraging this issue, an attacker may be able to overwrite arbitrary files on the target filesystem and cause critical impacts on the system (e.g., arbitrary command execution on the victim’s machine). |
| Local File Inclusion vulnerability in pretix Widget WordPress plugin pretix-widget on Windows allows PHP Local File Inclusion. This issue affects pretix Widget WordPress plugin: from 1.0.0 through 1.0.5. |
| File contents overwrite the VirtKey class is called when “on-demand pillar” data is requested and uses un-validated input to create paths to the “pki directory”. The functionality is used to auto-accept Minion authentication keys based on a pre-placed “authorization file” at a specific location and is present in the default configuration. |
| Local File Inclusion (LFI) vulnerability in a Render function of Formulatrix Rock Maker Web (RMW) allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive data via arbitrary code execution. A malicious actor could execute malicious scripts to automatically download configuration files in known locations to exfiltrate data including credentials, and with no rate limiting a malicious actor could enumerate the filesystem of the host machine and potentially lead to full host compromise.
This issue affects Rock Maker Web: from 3.2.1.1 and later |
