CVSS v3.1 |
| ImageMagick before 7.1.2-31 and before 6.9.13-56 contains a policy bypass in the PCD (and, per the upstream advisory, CUBE and HALD) coder: when a specific command line option is supplied, the decoder does not check a configured resource limit, which can result in extra memory allocation. A local user able to pass command line options to ImageMagick can therefore exceed the intended memory policy limit, causing a limited availability impact. The issue is fixed in 7.1.2-31 and 6.9.13-56. |
| NumberInput.looksLikeValidNumber() in FasterXML jackson-core pre-validates "stringified numbers" with two regular expressions: PATTERN_FLOAT ([+-]?[0-9]*[\.]?[0-9]+([eE][+-]?[0-9]+)?), present since 2.17.0, and PATTERN_FLOAT_TRAILING_DOT, added in 2.17.2. PATTERN_FLOAT places adjacent quantifiers over the same character class -- an optional [0-9]* run, an optional dot, then a required [0-9]+ run -- so input that ultimately fails to match forces Java's backtracking engine to retry every possible split point of the digit run.
Matching cost therefore grows with the square of the input length.
An attacker who can supply JSON that an application deserializes into a numeric target type reaches this method through jackson-databind's default String-to-number coercion (StdDeserializer and NumberDeserializers for BigDecimal, BigInteger, Double and Float).
Because StreamReadConstraints.maxStringLength defaults to 20,000,000 characters, no constraint bounds the input before it reaches the regex.
Testing by the reporter confirmed O(n^2) growth across five consecutive input-size doublings, with a single 160,000-character string consuming roughly 74 seconds in one call; a small number of concurrent requests of ordinary body size can therefore exhaust a server's request-handling thread pool.
The affected method does not exist before 2.17.0, so 2.16.x and earlier releases are not affected.
The fix replaces both regular expressions with a hand-rolled single-pass scan. |
| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.1.137.Final and 4.2.17.Final, the default io.netty.handler.ssl.SniHandler constructors use the pre-handshake ClientHello aggregation path in handler/src/main/java/io/netty/handler/ssl/SslClientHelloHandler.java at io.netty.handler.ssl.SslClientHelloHandler#decode, where handshakeBuffer.clear() and writeBytes() recopy all previously received body bytes for every additional TLS record. An unauthenticated remote peer can advertise a large ClientHello and deliver its body in thousands of tiny records, causing quadratic CPU work on the event loop before the TLS handshake completes and degrading TLS handling for other clients. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.137.Final and 4.2.17.Final. |
| A flaw has been found in Freedesktop Poppler 26.07.0. Impacted is the function JBIG2Stream::rewind of the file poppler/JBIG2Stream.cc. This manipulation causes null pointer dereference. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. Upgrading to version 26.08.0 is recommended to address this issue. Patch name: 5e49250f13b0390edeb3f90eb4c02c9941f97067. Upgrading the affected component is advised. |
| Netdata is an open source observability tool. Prior to 2.10.4, an authenticated child agent can send an oversized CHART SLOT value that str2ull_encoded passes to pluginsd_rrdset_cache_put_to_slot in src/plugins.d/pluginsd_internals.h. The accepted slot drives reallocz to request an approximately 16 GiB chart-pointer array, and allocation failure invokes fatal and aborts the parent Netdata agent, repeatedly disabling centralized monitoring while stream access persists. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.4 and nightly build 2.10.0-782-nightly. |
| Vector is a high-performance observability data pipeline. From 0.15.0 until 0.57.0, the logstash source feeds each decompressed frame back into its decoder without limiting nested compression depth. An unauthenticated remote peer that can reach the default 0.0.0.0:5044 listener can send many nested compressed frames, causing recursive decoding that exhausts the worker thread stack and aborts the process. The same nested construction amplifies decompressed input, and process termination can halt log ingestion for every tenant on a shared pipeline. This issue is fixed in version 0.57.0. |
| Netdata is an open source observability tool. Prior to 2.11.0, Netdata's unauthenticated WebSocket server negotiates permessage-deflate before authentication, and src/web/websocket/websocket-compression.c allows websocket_client_decompress_message() to grow decompressed output toward WS_MAX_DECOMPRESSED_SIZE without enforcing a compressed-to-decompressed ratio. Small highly compressed frames can therefore cause large server-side allocations, and repeated concurrent connections can exhaust memory and terminate monitoring. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.11.0. |

| A flaw has been found in OpenClaw up to 2026.9.5. Affected is the function createCanvasHostHandler of the file extensions/canvas/src/host/server.ts of the component Canvas Host Route. Executing a manipulation can lead to denial of service. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. Fix suggestion's "streaming/size-limit" was never shipped - latest 2026.9.5 still buffers the whole file via readFile() (src/canvas/serve.runtime.ts:17,114), unlike the sibling WS path which caps at 64KB. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure. |
| A vulnerability was found in Open5GS up to 2.8.0. This affects the function ogs_pfcp_parse_volume_measurement in the library lib/pfcp/types.c of the component PFCP Handler. The manipulation results in null pointer dereference. The attack may be launched remotely. The patch is identified as 8f07b507b78ff94776f2cd49276eb116ed93d7f2. A patch should be applied to remediate this issue. |
| A vulnerability was found in vllm-project vllm up to 0.29.0. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file vllm/v1/sample/thinking_budget_state.py. The manipulation results in inefficient algorithmic complexity. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| LMDeploy is a toolkit for compressing, deploying, and serving large language models. Versions 012.1 through 0.12.2 contain a code injection vulnerability in `lmdeploy/pytorch/config.py` line 620 that allows an attacker to execute arbitrary Python code by publishing a malicious HuggingFace model with a crafted `quantization_config.quant_dtype` value. When a user loads the model with lmdeploy, the `quant_dtype` is passed to `eval(f'torch.{quant_dtype}')` without any validation. Version 0.12.3 contains a patch. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle BI Publisher product of Oracle Analytics (component: BI Platform Security). Supported versions that are affected are 8.2.0.0.0, 12.2.1.4.0 and 26.01.0.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via SOAP to compromise Oracle BI Publisher. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle BI Publisher accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle BI Publisher. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.1 (Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H). |
| Inefficient algorithmic complexity in the Erlang/OTP asn1 OBJECT IDENTIFIER decoder allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause denial of service by sending a crafted OID during the TLS handshake.
The BER OID decoder asn1rtt_ber:dec_subidentifiers/3 in lib/asn1/src/asn1rtt_ber.erl and the equivalent PER helper asn1rtt_per_common:dec_subidentifiers/3 in lib/asn1/src/asn1rtt_per_common.erl accumulate a base-128 subidentifier into an unbounded integer using (Av bsl 7) + H per continuation byte. Each shift and addition on the growing accumulator is linear in the number of bits already accumulated, giving quadratic total work in the size of a single subidentifier. The JER helper asn1rtt_jer:json2oid/1 in lib/asn1/src/asn1rtt_jer.erl exhibits the same class of unbounded-integer parsing when decoding a dot-separated OID from JSON. A DER-encoded OBJECT IDENTIFIER with one very large arc (approximately 262 KB of continuation bytes) consumes roughly 13 seconds of CPU on typical hardware.
The vulnerable decoder is generated into every ASN.1 module that contains an OBJECT IDENTIFIER, including OTP-PUB-KEY which is reached during X.509 certificate parsing via public_key:pkix_decode_cert/2. This decoder runs before any signature or trust chain verification, so any Erlang service that parses peer TLS certificates is exposed: the default for TLS clients (which always parse the server certificate) and for mutual-TLS servers (which parse client certificates).
This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/asn1/src/asn1rtt_ber.erl, lib/asn1/src/asn1rtt_per_common.erl and lib/asn1/src/asn1rtt_jer.erl and program routines asn1rtt_ber:dec_subidentifiers/3, asn1rtt_per_common:dec_subidentifiers/3 and asn1rtt_jer:json2oid/1.
This issue affects OTP from OTP 17.0 before OTP 27.3.4.18, OTP 28.5.0.7, and OTP 29.1.1, corresponding to asn1 from 3.0 before 5.3.4.3, 5.4.3.1, and 5.5.2. Whether OTP before OTP 17.0, corresponding to asn1 before 3.0, is affected is unknown. |
| A vulnerability was determined in O-RAN-SC SMO OAM 2025-06-10. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the component VES Collector. Executing a manipulation can lead to allocation of resources. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The project was informed of the problem early through a bug report but has not responded yet. |
