CVSS v3.1 |
| Aimeos is an Open Source e-commerce framework for online shops. All SaaS and marketplace setups using Aimeos version from 2022/2023/2024 are affected by a potential denial of service attack. Users should upgrade to versions 2022.10.17, 2023.10.17, or 2024.04 of the aimeos/aimeos-core package to receive a patch.

Kaminari is a paginator for web app frameworks and object relational mappings. A security vulnerability involving insecure file permissions has been identified in the Kaminari pagination library for Ruby on Rails, concerning insecure file permissions. This vulnerability is of moderate severity due to the potential for unauthorized write access to particular Ruby files managed by the library. Such access could lead to the alteration of application behavior or data integrity issues. Users of affected versions are advised to update to Kaminari version 0.16.2 or later, where file permissions have been adjusted to enhance security. If upgrading is not feasible immediately, review and adjust the file permissions for particular Ruby files in Kaminari to ensure they are only accessible by authorized user.
A Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in the openSUSE Tumbleweed package gerbera allows the service user gerbera to escalate to root.,This issue affects gerbera on openSUSE Tumbleweed before 2.5.0-1.1.
A flaw was found in the Mirror Registry. The quay-app container shipped as part of the Mirror Registry for OpenShift has write access to the `/etc/passwd`. This flaw allows a malicious actor with access to the container to modify the passwd file and elevate their privileges to the root user within that pod.
XWiki AdminTools integrates administrative tools for managing a running XWiki instance. Prior to version 1.1, users without admin rights have access to AdminTools.SpammedPages. View rights are not restricted only to admin users for AdminTools.SpammedPages. While no data is visible to non admin users, the page is still accessible. This issue has been patched in version 1.1. A workaround involves setting the view rights for the AdminTools space to be only available for the XWikiAdminGroup.
libcontainer is a library for container control. Prior to libcontainer 0.5.3, while creating a tenant container, the tenant builder accepts a list of capabilities to be added in the spec of tenant container. The logic here adds the given capabilities to all capabilities of main container if present in spec, otherwise simply set provided capabilities as capabilities of the tenant container. However, setting inherited caps in any case for tenant container can lead to elevation of capabilities, similar to CVE-2022-29162. This does not affect youki binary itself. This is only applicable if you are using libcontainer directly and using the tenant builder.
A vulnerability in Jamf Pro's Jamf Remote Assist tool allows a local, non-privileged user to escalate their privileges to root on MacOS systems.
Multiple SEIKO EPSON printer drivers for Windows OS are configured with an improper access permission settings when installed or used in a language other than English. If a user is directed to place a crafted DLL file in a location of an attacker's choosing, the attacker may execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privilege on a Windows system on which the printer driver is installed.
CA Client Automation (ITCM) allows non-admin/non-root users to encrypt a string using CAF CLI and SD_ACMD CLI. This would allow the non admin user to access the critical encryption keys which further causes the exploitation of stored credentials. This fix doesn't allow a non-admin/non-root user to execute "caf encrypt"/"sd_acmd encrypt" commands.
A remote attacker using the insecure upload functionality will be able to overwrite any Python file and get Remote Code Execution. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL.
| Cursor is an artificial intelligence code editor. Prior to version 0.41.0, if a user on macOS has granted Cursor access to the camera or microphone, any program that is run on the machine is able to access the camera or the microphone without explicitly being granted access, through a DyLib Injection using DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES environment variable. The usage of `com.apple.security.cs.allow-dyld-environment-variables` and `com.apple.security.cs.disable-library-validation` allows an external dynamic library to be injected into the application using DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES environment variable.
Moreover, the entitlement `com.apple.security.device.camera` allows the application to use the host camera and `com.apple.security.device.audio-input` allows the application to use the microphone. This means that untrusted code that is executed on the user's machine can access the camera or the microphone, if the user has already given permission for Cursor to do so. In version 0.41.0, the entitlements have been split by process: the main process gets the camera and microphone entitlements, but not the DyLib entitlements, whereas the extension host process gets the DyLib entitlements but not the camera or microphone entitlements. As a workaround, do not explicitly give Cursor the permission to access the camera or microphone if untrusted users can run arbitrary commands on the affected machine. |
System call entry on Cortex M (and possibly R and A, but I think not) has a race which allows very practical privilege escalation for malicious userspace processes.
An issue was discovered in LemonLDAP::NG before 2.20.1. An Improper Check during session refresh allows an authenticated user to raise their authentication level if the admin configured an "Adaptative authentication rule" with an increment instead of an absolute value.
Least Privilege Violation (CWE-272) Vulnerability exists in the communication function between the NJ/NX-series Machine Automation Controllers and the Sysmac Studio Software. An attacker may use this vulnerability to perform unauthorized access and to execute unauthorized code remotely to the controller products.
Coredump binaries in Toshiba printers have incorrect permissions. A local attacker can steal confidential information. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL.
Incorrect default permissions issue exists in Unifier and Unifier Cast. If this vulnerability is exploited, arbitrary code may be executed with LocalSystem privilege. As a result, a malicious program may be installed, data may be altered or deleted.
A Local privilege escalation vulnerability found in a Self-Hosted UniFi Network Server with UniFi Network Application (Version 8.4.62 and earlier) allows a malicious actor with a local operational system user to execute high privilege actions on UniFi Network Server.
An issue was discovered on Brother MFC-J491DW C1806180757 devices. The printer's web-interface password hash can be retrieved without authentication, because the response header of any failed login attempt returns an incomplete authorization cookie. The value of the authorization cookie is the MD5 hash of the password in hexadecimal. An attacker can easily derive the true MD5 hash from this, and use offline cracking attacks to obtain administrative access to the device.
Incorrect default permissions in some Intel(R) ISH software installers may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
A vulnerability was determined in Topaz SERVCore Teller 2.14.0-RC2/2.14.1. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file SERVCoreTeller_2.0.40D.msi of the component Installer. Executing manipulation can lead to permission issues. The attack needs to be launched locally. You should upgrade the affected component. The vendor explains, that "this vulnerability was detected at the beginning of 2025, it was remediated because the latest published version of the installer no longer uses "nssm," which is responsible for this vulnerability".
